Help! Biggest Loser end of show

Well - phooey! I fell asleep at 9:45 and missed the ending of Biggest Loser last night!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened??????

That was a good time to fall asleep because the end was horrible. The two people below the line were Jerry (the grandfather) and Dan (the heaviest kid). It was just awful to see a 65 yo man trying not to cry on national tv when he saw his weight loss for the week. In the end they decided to send Jerry home because he had the support at home and would be more likely to succeed than Dan. His update was great. He had lost 84 pounds and looked great. He seemed very happy and was really active playing with his grandkids.

Yes - it was rough! Even Allison Sweeney was fighting the tears, as were the trainers and the entire team of contestants. (Allison had her baby yesterday, BTW.) In the end, it was the best decision. The contestants were really torn on deciding but they chose Jerry b/c he had a support system at home to go back to, and had known thinner days in his past - something he could work towards again. He does look GREAT - both he and his wife. Truly looked like another person. I was so happy for both of them, and for their family!!

Glad I missed it, I started crying when Jerry passed out the first week...well I teared up. How crazy is that, you are watching a show for 5 minutes and you pick that one person to pull for! I hope he and his wife are successful, they seemed like such wonderful people!
