Who has had one and how do you get rid of it? After reading a little about it I think I need new work out shoes (which I have already posted about) but do you think that getting a good work out shoe will be good enough or do I need a "special" shoe for the spur?OUCH!!!

Heel spurs are related to plantar faciitis and I have had the latter. did a lot of ibuprofen, had a night splint, and laid off the high impact and step for a long while (I biked and swam) I still tape my foot before workouts and use insoles in my shoes. This is after more than a year. check out webmd.com

for you ryka fans out there...I have read the reviews and several said that they run a half size smaller than marked. Did you feel this way too? I hate to order than have to return to get a different size. I wear a 7 and have a wider than average foot. Thanks again
Sarah

thanks that is very helpful...it is not too bad yet but really want to take care before it gets too bad. I hate to stop working out because I am just trying to get into it all again...AGHHH!!!
Sarah

Sarah, I wear a 7 but order 7.5 in Rykas. In fact I wear 7.5 in all my fitness related shoes (running, aerobics, crosstrainers). I have a normal width though.
