5:30am - Push Pull

Rice & millet flake porridge with rice milk
Carrot, ginger & apple juice
Oat cakes x2
Veg soup & 2 slices rye bread
Handful of nuts
Salmon, veg & rice
Fruit bar

Herbal tea & 2 litres water

Two hard boiled eggs/ Banana/Apple
Mixed Bean Soup/Chicken Slices

Exercise today.

4:15am did PS Legs.

B - 2 veggie quiche, soy nuts

S - cheese sticks

L - Hopefully a salad

S - walnuts

D - leftover chicken and broccoli

Carole, to answer your water question - I drink around 60-80 ounces a day, maybe more. I have a 20 ounce bottle at work and fill it up 4-5 times a day.

Hope everyone is doing well. I fell off a little yesterday at dinner we had chinese and they give you crab cheese instead of egg rolls but it is still deep fried and I ate them, they are so good but that has been my only slip up this week so I am proud of myself : )

Hi Andrea! Again w/you working out at 5:30 & Push/Pull yet! WOW your still working it!! You amaze me! I really like your menu too. What's in your oat cakes?

Rhonda: You truly AMAZE me too! 4:15 AM!!!!! And PS Legs to boot! My hats are off to you 2 ladies. You bring it everyday. I feel like such a whimp next to you two.

Wayne! Your exercising routine has gotta hurt!!!! How much weight are you lifting? Congrats on your BF. I have no idea what mine is; gotta go use my Accumeasure.

My menu today is:

Meal 1: mini whole wheat bagel w/cream cheese (too tired to bother making anything else) & french vanilla coffee
Meal 2: ff vanilla yogurt w/granola (I should've put raspberries & blueberries in this instead; oh well I'll do better tomorrow) & hazelnut iced coffee
Meal 3: tilapia/mixed veggies/strawberries
Meal 4: medium mixed green salad w/chicken
Meal 5: salmon/brown rice/peas

Tonight's workout will be Terri Reeves's CIA kickboxing/bootcamp tape but only doing the kickboxing portion. Its great! She incorporates plyometrics w/kickboxing. I really get a super sweaty workout when doing her. Hope everyone enjoys their day! Kathy :D

Lunch: Tony salad (would love to explain what this is but it would take too long, trust me it's delicious)

There's nothing much in my oatcakes (they're 'nairne' variety - don'y know if you can get them in the US). Off the top of my head, oatmeal, salt in them - go to www.nairns-oatcakes.com if you want to know more!

I'm intrigued about you not knowing what an avocado is - do you call it something else over there? It's a fruit/veg? with a large stone in the centre and the flesh is yummy - almost buttery in texture...looks a bit like a pear..? Hope that helps!

See you all tomorrow after a 5:30am workout - think I'll do BB. I need to get a rotation sorted out rather than 'bitting & bobbing'!

Hi Andrea! Thanks for the link to that website. I do know what an avocado is but was wondering what you put in it? I should've formed my ? better. Is it mostly comprised of avocados mixed w/other veggies & what's the dressing? Do tell. Kathy:7

Br. banana, peach, muffin and black coffee with sugar

Subbed at the gym - BodyPump 2 days in a row, I need CARDIO!!x(

Lunch (if you can call it that, I ate in the car on the way to clinic)
hard boiled egg, yummy mitsou apple, granola bar and a yogurt

Mid afternoon - pork tenderloin sandwich on whole wheat bread

Have to sub yet another class - yoga based tonight, still no cardio, this junkie be needin' some endorphins!!!

First book club meeting tonight, there will be munchies there (I hope). If I can avoid that first bite of any creamy dippy stuff I know I can be good, I'll bring a piece of fruit and grab a protein bar before leaving the gym so I'm not too hungry.
I drank about 2.5 litres of water today.

Does anyone else out there eat any red meat? We eat it sparingly but we eat it nonetheless.

Hope KathyH doesn't mind my answering your question...Hi Kathy...How are ya? NY weather wasn't too bad this summer, right?

Talipia is a fish. I think it's from Hawaii. I rarely see it on my end of Island.

Kathy, do you get yours in Nassau Co. or in the city?
 
Hi Liz!! Just saw your ? now. Tilapia is a type of fish; its white & its taste is similar to flounder. Kathy:D
