Boy did I fall off the wagon this weekend. Ate stuff I shouldn't have but today I am back on.

B - scrambled eggs w/mushrooms
S - hb egg and piece of cheese
L - salad w/chicken
S - cashews
D - not sure yet

Saturday I did Imax2 and boy it was much harder for me that PlyoX. I made it through but had to modify on the last couple of intervals.

Sunday was a rest day.

Monday - did S&H chest/triceps and this evening will be abs and maybe some yoga/stretching.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Rhonda

Well, I decided this past week to really be strict with myself since I had hit a plateau. Well, today was weigh in day and I am happy to say that I lost 3 pounds and 1% of body fat. It's amazing also how different my clothes fit compared to last week. Woo Hoo!

B - Protein Shake
S - Banana
S - Protein Bar
L - Turkey sandwhich on whole wheat bread
S - Low Carb Yogurt
D - Don't really know yet. Maybe a spinach salad with chicken

Saturday was my rest day and yesterday I did ME and IMAX 2, this morning was Cardio and Weights.

Have a great day!

Katie

I am wondering if anyone eats the Kashi go lean cereal, shakes, or bars.

If so, which ones are good? I have heard if you add this to your eating that you can lose weight. but of course you have to watch your other food intake.

Morning Ladies!

Sat. I did S&H chest/back & abs from ME. I've really gotten strong since doing & completing P90X. I can now do 25# dbs for bench & fly presses doing 12 reps for 3 sets. Then I dropped down to 20#s for the rest of the workout. On back I did 25#s & 20#s for everything. My arms are still killing me from Sat. Abs were easy so will have to include another ab workout on top of ME abs. Sun's workout was Debbie Burns TKO Boxing. I love this workout but it could've had more kicks.

Tonight's workout is S&H shoulders/bis/tris & ARX.

My eats for today are:

Meal 1: oatmeal w/1T natural crunchy peanut butter + coffee
Meal 2: mini whole wheat bagel w/whipped cream cheese + white tea
Meal 3: tilapia/asparagus/strawberries
Meal 4: chick peas, black beans & tomato salad
Meal 5: chicken salad

Rhonda: I personally think there's too much sugar in the Kashi Go Lean; that's JMO though.;-)

Hope everyone's day is a good one! Kathy:D

Wow, KathyH! Awesome poundages. I am going to go back to SH next week. I have been upping my weights though, it is great!

1 - Oatmeal, flax, egg white omelet
2 - protein bar
3- tuna with veggies and nonfat dressing
4 - cottage cheese, apple
5 - chicken, veggies, salad

I love the go lean series of cereals but find that ANY kind of breakfast cereal makes me break out. Could be the sugar, could be the fact that all cereal is so over processed...even the "healthy" stuff. The only processed stuff I will allow myself is the protein bars and shakes and they don't seem to bother my skin...as long as they have nonsugar sweeteners in them.

Hello,

Had to go away on business at the end of last week, so no workouts. However, was so busy that I hardly got a chance to eat and did a TON of walking. Result, lost 2 pounds. Now I have to figure out a way to keep it off.

6 am - Leaner Legs - ugh!

B - coffee
S - protein shake
L - soup, salad
S - cantelope, cheese
D - ham, potatoes

Sounds like everyone is doing well. Glad to hear it.
Shopgirl :)

Hi all! Kathy H, holy cow you must be some kind of wonder woman! I think at my strongest I could do 20 pounds for 1 set of 16 on the chest flies.

Ok, so last week I actually lost 2 pounds! Yay!!! So, that is some major motivation for me.

B- egg white omlette ( I will eventaully get sick of these and switch up to aotmeal I'm sure!)
L- chicken with lettuce salad and Paul Newmans light balsamic vinagrette
S- Apple
D- I may have to go buy som talapia, I haven't had that in a long time, and it's wonderful. Then I can have that for dinner!

Yeah, running out of ideas for dinners. So, if anyone feels like letting me know a good idea or 5, please do so! ha, ha!
Today for a workout I'll probably SJP. I did that one last week for the first time in a long time, and really enjoyed it. I forgot how tough it is.

Kathy

Congrats on the losses Katie & Shopgirl!

Great poundage, KathyH!

Rhonda, I buy Kashi Go Lean Crunch because my son 13 yr. old son likes it. I figure it has protein & lots of fiber, which alot of the other cereals don't have... I eat 1/3 cup with yogurt every so often for some crunch....but anymore than that and I'm lethal to be around, if you know what I mean! :7

Mmmm....I love eggs! Wish I had time to make them on weekdays! Maybe I'll start boiling some at night to throw in my lunch bag for a snack. But then people will come into my office and think I've got a little gas problem. ha ha.

B - Soymilk mixed with Fiber powder, bowl of Kashi cereal
S - Fiberwise snack bar
L - 1/2 soynut butter/fruit preseves on whole wheat bread & salad
S - apple, blueberries and raspberries
D - oops! hamburgers(hey - we're using whole wheat rolls and 91% lean beef), some sort of broccoli hybrid and salad

Over the weekend I made butternut squash soup. It made a tasty lunch. Roast turkey and salad for dinner. Mediterranean pasta (whole wheat pasta) for dinner on Sunday.

Saturday I did PS Back, CTX back & 5 intervals of IMAX
Sunday - MIC

Monday - will be doing Leaner Legs

Hey Kathy G.! Glad to see there's another Go Lean eater in the forum! Do you know that I've almost been mugged at the grocery store for taking the last box? That's the BEST cereal!

The shakes ARE good. I've only tried the chocolate - but they're definitely filling and very tasty. As you may see in another post from me - the cereal is delicious. Especially when you get the nice big chunks. You have to turn up the tv when you eat because it's very loud in your head. There is more sugar in this cereal, but it's not refined sugar. Plus there are lots of different whole grains in it and the fiber and soy protein content makes up for the sugar (IMO).

I've also tried the regular Kashi cereal and it's kind of blah. The Heart to Heart cereal is good and makes a nice alternative when your store is out of stock on the Go Lean, which is all the time at my store. Seems like everyone and her sister has found out about this cereal!

The snack bars are good. I like the oatmeal and the cookies and cream. I only eat half of one at a time, though.

Why do we fall off the wagon on weekends? I didn't eat foods that were necessarily bad, but just ate too much of it. Saturday I did the tread mill for 40 minutes and then a Firm DVD of hips, thighs and abs. I hadn't done that one and was dissappointed. Not much of a workout. For today...

5:30 a.m. PLB

B – Oatmeal with flax seed, dark cherries and scoop of Protein Powder
S – ¼ large apple with 1 T. peanut butter
L – Spaghetti squash and tuna salad with raisins made with fat free yogurt
S – No Fat cottage cheese with pepper strips
D – Not sure, but the chicken and spinach salad sounds good

Hey everyone! For once in my life I was good this weekend! The biggest splurge I had was on some gummi bears from Germany my dh brought back from his trip and I even SHARED with the kids!

My parents are coming this afternoon for a visit so I forced myself to workout this morning since I knew I wouldnt want to with them there. After the initial shock to my system, it felt GREAT! I'm going to attempt to keep that up! However, I am SO hungry today! I ate my snack along with my lunch. Here's the day so far:

1- honey graham life cereal (not the greatest I know but sooo good)
2- apple and pb
3- ham and lofat cheese sandwich, pear, banana, cottage cheese (opk, the banana and cottage cheese were supposed to be for snack)
4- IF I'm hungry I'll go ahead and have a Clif Za bar, they're new and I've never had one. Supposed to be for kids but are healthy.
5- Lean cuisine

I'm within all my WW points although I'm using my activity ones since I ate my snack already.
