Hi everyone,

Did JV Just thighs and Just butts this morning. I feel my legs in places I haven't felt in quite a while.

B - scrambled eggs w/asparagus and some feta
S - (if I get one, have meetings all morning) piece of cheese, low fat triscuits
L - tuna casserole
S - walnuts
D - chicken, green beans

Hope everyone is doing well. I am hoping that Cathe puts up more descriptions of the workouts. She did one and now I can't wait to see the others.

5:45 am - Bootcamp - woof, I was huffing and puffing this morning.

B - coffee, 1/2 cinnamon roll (yes, I know it's bad for me, but it tasted really good :7 )
S - protein shake
L - salad, soup
S - yogurt
D - pork chops, potatoes, beets

Morning! Last night's workout I decided to change it & do Rhythmic Step. I haven't done this one in such a long time it was downright EASY! I remembered a time when I was huffing & puffing so my cardiovascular has improved. Yipee!

Tonight's workout is Yoga Focus by Karen Voight. I really like this one b/c it gives you 30 min. of yoga strength & 30 min. stretch which I need badly.

Rhonda: How do you like JV? I had purchased way back when her Aerobic Fast Forward tape. It was horrible! What do you like about these? I'm always searching for ways to spend more money:7

Today's eats are:

Meal 1: 2 multi grain waffles w/peanut butter + hazelnut coffee
Meal 2: mini egg onion bagel w/whipped cream cheese
Meal 3: tilapia w/pineapple salsa/string beans, carrots, corn + strawberries
Meal 4: chicken salad w/feta cheese
Meal 5: chicken stir fry w/brown rice (I'll eat this after my yoga)

Ladies: Help me out here for my Meal 2. I eat Meal 2 at my desk at work. What else can I possibly transport to work besides these mini bagels or cottage cheese? HELP!

Good morning all!

Kathy, for snacks at my desk i often have yogurt, various pieces of fruit, some tuna (in those handly little fresh paks), string cheese, cottage cheese, raw vegie sticks and hummus... just a few ideas :) I"ve also found that Amy's Organic frozen burritos are excellent, and i've been known to eat them at room temperature and they are still very good!

today i have meetings most of the morning so i had a big breakfast!

S - prunes, coffee
B - 1/2 WW bagel, 1 egg+2 whites, cream cheese, V8
L - turkey sandwich
S - HUGE apple
D - vegie lasagne!:9

Hi again! :) I'm back, hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. :)

Today I did Gin's Simply Step in the morning and tonight it's StepMax (wmup + 2 sections) and abs.

Meal 1: 1 egg/2 egg white omelette w/peppers, mushrooms, & light cheddar cheese
Meal 2: cottage cheese w/apple, raisins & cinnamon
Meal 3: protein shake w/banana & rf peanut butter
Meal 4: steak w/peppers, mushrooms & onions + baby carrots
Meal 5: balance Go Mix + 15 cherries
Meal 6: steak w/peppers, mushrooms, & onions + jello w/ff cottage cheese & pineapple

Two cups coffee w/Splenda & ff Coffeemate.
 
Hi All!

This morning it was Pyramid Upper Body. Hate those bicept curls!

B - Oatmeal with raisins, apples and walnuts with low fat cottage cheese mixed in
L - Hummus with veggies
D - Large salad with black beans, large apple
S - Almonds and dried fruit

I think I'm going to ease myself into the Eat to Live program. I just finished the book. Anyone else have luck with this regimine?

Morning all! 5:00 IMAX 2 for me. Finally get back to my normal routine after the Holiday and beginning to feel good again. I just have to make sure I don't go nuts for Christmas, which I know is going to be hard because there is going to be a ton of goodies starting in a couple weeks I'm sure. There was a white chocolate marble rum cake at the office this morning and I managed to steer clear of that.

B - Protein Shake
S - Protein Bar
L - Chicken breast, cottage cheese
S - Low Carb Yogurt
D - Spinach Salad with salmon

Hello! Today is finally a day that I can be good! I did do the SJP, SB premix yesterday, but only got through 50 min and had to stop. I ahve a muscle on the side of my right knee that I pulled a month or so ago running, and it was getting the same feeling that I had while I was running that day I puled it. So, to avoid anohter injury, I stopped early.

B- egg white omlette
L- Salmon w/ peas
S- apple
D- Chicken breast W/broccoli

I think for my workout today I'll do a SS workout. It will probably kick my butt since i did no weights all week long last week. Ah, i hate coming back from a break of no workouts. OH well, soon I'll be back to where I was at.

Hi Kathy,

I think JV is just different. Her form is horrible but since I know proper form I can over look that. She does pyramid and giant super sets that get me sweating. I think since her daughter is in the newer workouts they are a little slower so you don't feel like your throwing the weights around. I follow her daughter who still goes slower than JV and there are different exercises which are nice. Maybe I just need a big change up in my workouts and these are good for that.

Haven't been here for a few days, been to frustrated.
Wasn't there someone on a Cathe forum that was saying she had to cut down her workouts to lose weight ? I remember reading it somewhere now I can't find it at all.... well I am trying it but would love to see what she did again.

Today I did Basic Step ( the last segment twice since the phone interrupted me ) Grrrr!

B- 3 egg whites in a whole wheat pita pocket
L- salad w. lite ranch & soup w/ beans & long grain rice
S- Yogurt
D - Not sure yet

My day isn't planned out very well, sorry! I need to find something fast that will help me shed some weight / inches.... I took my measurements and I am 1.25 up in each thigh how bad in each thigh from 5 months ago. ( had surgery last summer so starting back slowly ).

Margaret - I was thinking about reading Eating for Life, I haven't heard of that one. Good Luck! :)

Cathe hasnt been on the forum for a week now and I find I really do miss her input. I cant wait for more details on our new upcoming workouts.

Anyway, today I did MIS with added abs, I went off for a massage afterwards (ahhhh!), then I went to work and worked, then I did Curcuit Max with wrist weights for cardio and heavy weights.

B-1/2 c cottage cheese (ff), 1/2 c plain yogurt (ff), 1 c FiberOne
S-2/3 detour bar
L-Metrx shake and 2 medium apples
S-2 pieces of cornbread-plain (needed carbs today)
D-green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts (variety tonite), with a chicken breast
