Morning Everyone!

Jen: I noticed your post from yesterday re the bench press. I happen to have one. Mine's an adjustable bench press w/racks on each side. I can really heavy up on the #s & it adjusts to an incline too. I just couldn't use my step any longer. Its much safer using the bench press machine.

Tonight's workout at 7:30 p.m. is Cardio & Weights (love this one)

Today's meals are:

Meal 1: 3 egg white cheese omelet w/1 crumpette & 1 Tbsp of boysenberry jam + hazelnut coffee
Meal 2: cottage cheese w/blueberries & granola + white tea
Meal 3: tilapia/mixed veggies/sweet potato + strawberries
Meal 4: a Middle Eastern salad containing chick peas, black beans & tomatoes (its spicy!)
Meal 5: turkey cutlets in a roasted red pepper sauce/brown rice/broccoli

Have a great gobble day tomorrow! I'll be back online on Fri. Enjoy everyone! Kathy:D

Hi All

This morning was Pilates. Still not fitting in my morning snack.

B - 3 egg whites/1 yolk scrambled and topped with Salsa. 1 kiwi
L - ? Going out
S - Pear and Cottage Cheese
D - Salad and Chicken Breast

How does one eat healthy on Thanksgiving? (I'm not the one cooking.) I'll give it my best shot!

Margaret

Thanks KathyH....if I move the spare bed out of the spare bedroom, I might just have the room! I can imagine it would be much safer.

Did PS BBA today.

1 - Irish oatmeal with a protein shake mixed in and pureed pumpkin
2 - protein bar
3 - not sure...probably chicken breast and salad veggies
4 - cottage cheese, apple
5 - leftover beef stew, salad

Hopefully will be a good eating day tomorrow...we are DEEP FRYING the turkey which believe it or not, is NOT as unhealthy as it sounds! Delicious!

See you all on Fri

Jen

Tilapia is a fish, it's white, and has a light flavor. I got mine from Sams club. Irish Oatmeal is probably in your health food section of your grocery store. I know that i've seen Scottish oats, I'm sure it's similar. I have steal cut oats, and enjoy those, next I'll probably try the Scottish oats, being that I'm half Scottish!

B- Steal cut oats W/sugar free syrup and a little bit of milk, oh and flax seed
L- salmon w/broccoli
S- string cheese
D- Not sure yet, probably a chicken salad like last nights. Boring but easy!

Man, tomarrow is not going to be easy to eat healthy, maybe if I just have the turkey, and, huh, nothing else? Ha, ha! Yeah, right! One day isn't going to kill me! I'll just go by Jillybeans rule, if it doesn't have dirt on it it's clean! Ha, ha!

off to go make the pumkin pie! Have a hapy Thanksgiving!

Hi Margaret! Load up on the salad (hopefully they'll have one), turkey (no gravy or stuffing). It depends on how sweet potatoes are cooked. On second thought just go for it! I pretty much just eat what I want. Its only one time that Thanksgiving comes around so you indulge! Just enjoy! Kathy:7

The metal oatmeal can that says "Irish Oats" = steel cut oats. I have seen it in the grocery store also...but buy it in the health food store ....it has a little bit of a different flavor than regular oatmeal.

The whisky idea has promise. :)
