Healthy Eating 11/23

Morning Everyone! I thought I would be the first one to start this thread.

Yoga last night went well. Tonight's workout is nada. I have to go to the doctor.

Today's meals are:

Meal 1: 1 blueberry waffle w/sf maple syrup & 1 1/2 slices of turkey bacon + hazelnut coffee
Meal 2: cottage cheese w/blueberries & granola + white tea
Meal 3: tilapia/mixed veggies + strawberries
Meal 4: tuna salad (6 oz. tuna, romaine lettuce, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, carrots & radicchio)
Meal 5: cheese burger/corn/salad

Hi! Ok, so yesterday I started IMAX 2, but finished with KPC. So, I did the warm up from IMAX 2, but the workout from KPC. I was just more in the mood to kick some butt!
Anyway, today I think I'm catching a cold, so I may just lay low. It's been trying to get me for about a week, and today I'm feeling like my throat is very cratchy, and I'm just feeling icky.

B- egg white omlette
L- chicken W/broccoli
S- apple
D- salmon W/green beans and brown rice

I may even forego the brown rice due to this throat, but we'll see.

Well, never did workout yesterday. I guess that is why AM workouts are so much better! Did PS CST today....I am for sure starting SH next week, I was just not up for a change this am.

1 - irish oatmeal, protein powder
2 - protein/carb bar
3 - leftover vietnamese food...marinated beef, rice, and some veggies
4 - cottage cheese, apple
5 - crockpot (saving dinner) beef stew (round steak), carrots, potatoes, salad

Wishing for some bench/rack equipment situations in my house...I am lifting heavier on chest and have a hard time getting it up to the right position to begin my set. Clean and press, etc. Is that the right term? I am afraid I am going to injure a shoulder joint or something. I dont' think I 've got the room tho for much more than I have, in my spare bedroom. MAYBE a bench press. Def not a Smith machine or squat rack, although, maybe someday. Anybody do bench at home to Cathe but with a bench and rack situation?

I may not be eating quite the way you gals do but this at least keeps me accountable, if I shouldn't be here, please let me know :)

B- 3 egg whites & 1/2 serving plain oatmeal w/ strawberries
S- Water & to busy to eat
L- Salad w/ lite ranch & a wheat tortilla w/ FF refried beans, lettuce, tomato & salsa
S - I was thinking about a yogurt
D - Not sure yet... I know I need to plan better.

I did IMAX2 this morning and was hungry the second I got done but I didn't get to eat for 2 hrs afterwards.... I was still hungry after dinner last night too.. I know I should adjust soon... I think I just need a guide in the right direction.
I was thinking on buying the book Eating for Life to find the good's and the bad's.

B-wheat toast w/ sugar free PB
S-boiled new potato w/ chicken broth
L-salad and crackers (wheat triscuits gross)
S- orange or pear
D-lean pork chops with zucchinni&tomatos and asparagus

B- 1/2 c fatfree cottage cheese, 1/2 c fatfree plain yogurt, 1 c fiber one all mixed together
s-1 pc cornbread with 1 TBSP soynut butter
L-metrx shake and 2 apples
s-1/2 protein bar
d-spinach deep dish pizza and some steamed cauliflower
1 pot weak decaf coffee and 4 liters water

I am not looking forward to Thanksgiving. The family member cooking is a terrible cook and the meat always is under done. I think i am bringing my own food this year. Hope everyone else has a great turkey day. Think of me when you are eating and enjoying your fully cooked turkey.
 
Hi Everyone!

Jen: I use an adjustable bench press & love it. It has the racks on each side & I can heavy it up when doing bb bench presses; it adjusts for inclines; its wonderful. I just couldn't do it on my step using the #s that I use. I would love to buy a Smith machine as this is my all time favorite machine; its so versatile for just about everything from chest to lunges, etc. Oh well I can dream too.

Tonight's workout at 7:30 is: Cardio & Weights (love this one)

Today's meals are:

Meal 1: 3 egg white cheese omelet + hazelnut coffee
Meal 2: cottage cheese w/blueberries & granola + white tea
Meal 3: tilapia/mixed veggies/sweet potato + strawberries
Meal 4: a Middle Eastern salad containing chick peas, black beans & tomatoes (its spicy)
Meal 5: turkey cutlets in a roasted red pepper sauce/brown rice/broccoli
