B - scrambled eggs w/asparagus and 3 lowfat pierogies
S - apple with piece of cheese
L - big salad with chicken
S - cashews
D - parmesan crusted chicken (from EFL), green beans

Hope everyone is doing well today. No new pictures this morning, bummed me out since I was looking for them. Guess I will have to look at the other pictures again : )

Do you mind if I join in? I really need some accountability!

Here's my day:

1- 3 egg whites, 1/4 cup shredded low fat cheese, sprouted wheat tortilla

2- Metrx chocolate shake

3- Chicken breast, 1/2 sweet potato, green beans

4- Metrx chocolate shake

5- Roasted chicken and brussel sprouts

6- cottage cheese and apple

Please please please, if you have any constructive critisism for me I would greatly appreciate it!

Workout: S & H Back, Abs, CTX 10*10*10 cardio
 
Did PS CS with No T today! LOL!

1- Yogurt smoothie with protein added, raw oatmeal
2 - protein bar
3 - tuna with veggies and brown rice
4 - cottage cheese and apple
5 - chicken sausage jambalaya

Hopefully no halloween candy

Hello Ladies & Welcome Cbelle!

My P90X Plyo X last night was GREAT!! I really brought it. I'm gearing up for IMAX 3 you see.

Tonight's workout at 7:30 p.m. is P90X Back & Biceps + ARX.

Today's eats are:

Meal 1: 2 egg white omelet & crumpette w/blueberry jam + coffee
Meal 2: yogurt w/mandarin oranges & muesli + white tea
Meal 3: tilapia/mixed veggies & strawberries
Meal 4: chicken salad
Meal 5: ginger beef (recipe from Saving Dinner)

Cbelle: Your meals look just fine to me.

Ok, nix the protein shakes. They're ok in the evening when I'm about to go to bed but they did dnothing for my hunger this morning. Cottage cheese and apples work better for me.

My REVISED meal plan is as follows :)

1- Egg white burrito
2- shake (blech)
3- Deli ham and lowfat cheese sandwich and tangerine
4- cottage cheese and apple
5- chicken, 1/2 sweet potato, gr beans
6- if I'm hungry maybe I'll grab a piece of fruit or another shake

I've been "lurking" at this forum for a few weeks and have received a inspiration from you all, so I'd also like to join up with you! Being accountable may help me lose those darn last 10 pounds! After seeing what you all eat, maybe I just plain eat too much?

S – Cottage cheese and raw broccoli
D – Hamburger and brussel sprouts

Hi Margaret! From what I see of your menu its GREAT! Perhaps the one thing you can change would be the protein shake. Try eating oatmeal w/protein powder or oatmeal w/egg white omelet. HTH, Kathy:D
 
Hi all! I was reading what Kathy was saying in the Ask Cathe Forum and decided to impose. Would any of you mind yet another newbie?
I have just started this week going back to my clean eating. I mean, like yesterday this week. It's not very easy, but I have found that when I want to grab a piece of my sons candy I think back to this htread and put it down without even opening it. So, maybe you can all help me out too. Of course DH and I are trying to get pregnant, so really I'm just trying to eat healthier, and if weight comes off in the process, great! I'm guessing that it will though.

B- 4 egg white omlet and green tea
s- salad using Paul newmans balsamic Vinagrette Light, banana
L- myplex light shake with ground flax seed
S- chicken breast and broccoli
D- chicken parmesan minus the noodles and breading

I know that my dinner isn't that great, but DH would think I was trying to kill him if I just made chicken breast and broccoli or something like that. So, I will just eat what I normally make and try to make my portion a little healthier I guess, like no noodles.
Kathy H, do you think that will work? Or should I just make myself something completely different from everyone else?

You don't think that oatmeal plus the brown rice would be too much starch/carbs for one day?

Hi Kathy! Your meals look terrific!! I would definitely have the chicken parmesan (yummy!) but I would also have another veggie of your choice. Leave the noodles for hubby to eat!! I sometimes have to make something different for myself. I have to cook for hubby & son & I usually make a recipe out of the Saving Dinner cookbook for them. For myself I just have for my last meal a protein & a carb. Either chicken/turkey/fish & a veggie. If I'm doing cardio at 7:30 I'll just make a protein shake & drink it after my workout. I'll also include a banana. HTH, Kathy:D
 
Hi Margaret! No not really this can become one of your high carb days. I usually use Wed. & Sat. as my high carb days. Try it & see what happens. Kathy:D
