Healthy Eating 11/19/04

Hi Everyone,

I did Spinervals In the Red Zone this morning. What a great workout. I didn't preview it so I had no clue what I was in for and I had fun. I haven't done spinning in a quite a while so it felt good to get back on the bike.

B - BFL Shake (OK maybe these are growing on me but it wasn't that bad this morning, I think it is the first swallow that I have to get used to it).
S - hb egg, cheese, red fat triscuits
L - soup or salad
S - cashews
D - venison, baked potatoes, salad

Hubby went hunting and got a deer so we will be eating venison.

This will be my last post for a while. I am on vacation next week so I won't be checking in. I will be back on the 29th.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

No workout for me this morning. I'm off to have all four of my widom teeth pulled! Oh boy!

I'll have to say that my meals today are probably going to consist of protein shakes and soup!

Look on the bright side Katie, getting your wisdom teeth pulled is good for a couple of pounds. ;-) Good luck.

6 am - IMAX2, intervals 1-5 only because I ran out of time, but I did it on a raised step of 7" as opposed to the usual 4". A lot harder. Also did C&W abs. Tomorrow is ME.

B - coffee, pumpkin bread
S - protein shake
L - soup, salad with chicken
S - yogurt, peanuts
D - pork chops, vegie

Blew it yesterday, had 3 cups of coffee and nothing else, then went home and had 3 slices of pepperoni and bacon pizza. x(

Happy Friday Everyone

This morning was Pyramid Lower Body.

B - 3egg white/1 yolk scrambled with kale
L - Going out for lunch - probably a salad
S - Fat Free Cottage Cheese with fresh pineapple
D - Fried fish (DH brings it home on Friday's) and some kind of vegetable.

Tomorrow will probably be Muscle Endurance.

Katie: I wish you well on your de-wisdoming! Protein shakes it will probably be! Or ice cream. Take it easy!

Doing a body pump type class with my pal at 9 am

1 - Hot cooked muesli, 4eggwhite/single yolk omelette
2 - protein bar
3 - chicken breast, salad veggies
4 - cottage cheese, apple
5 - chicken enchiladas homemade, lowfat as much as possible! plus a veggie I suppose.

I GOTTA get to the grocery store!

Katie: Good luck I hope it goes well. Ice cream it would be for me screw the protein shakes!! Ha!

Today is nada for my workout. After last night I deserve a rest.

Today's meals are:

Meal 1: cereal (too lazy to make a real breakfast):( + coffee
Meal 2: mini whole wheat bagel w/whipped cream cheese + white tea
Meal 3: marinated skirt steak (leftover)/mixed veggies + pear
Meal 4: tuna salad w/feta cheese
Meal 5: ? famiy's having meat raviollis so there's no way I'm eating that!! I'll have to wing it w/5 egg + 1 egg cheese omelette + mixed veggies & sweet potato. This seems to be the only things I have left in my fridge LOL

Hope everyone's weekend is a good one!

B - Kashi Go Lean! cereal, soy milk w/a little Ovaltine for flavor
S - oatmeal
L - hummus wrap on organic whole wheat tortilla, salad & 100 Cal. Oreo Crisps
S - blueberries, raspberries, apple
D - shrimp and salad

I'll be doing KPC tonight.

Katie- Good Luck with those wisdom teeth! I had only two of mine pulled the first time, I still have two more to go. Needless to say I'm putting it off for a long time.;)
Todays workout ironic as it is with the kick max pictures out is going to be KPC. I was contemplating IMAX 2, but I think maybe I'll do that tomarrow if I can.
Oh! I'm down 6 pounds as of this morning! I'm soo excited! I can't thank you enough Kathy H for posting that people should come and look at this thread and join in.

B- egg white omlette W/ chai tea ( it had green tea in it if that makes it any better.)
L- Salmon W/ Squash
S- Apple
D- Not going to be good tonight. I'm having a tastefully simple party, and it's not exactly low fat. But we just get to taste things, so maybe it won't be as bad as I think it will be?

This will be my one get out of jail free day I suppose due to tonights party. But it'll be fun, so I'm not concerned.

Congrats on the 6# lose! Your gonna be one mean, lean machine especially after all of us get our hands on Hardcore! I couldn't be happier for you & I'm glad to have been of help directing you over to this thread. Have fun at the party & just enjoy!! Kathy:D
