Healthy Eating 10/7/04

Cathlete
Thanks everyone for your support yesterday. I did cave in and had some chocolate. I haven't been eating my salads like I was so maybe that is why I had that craving. Looking back when I eat a salad I don't have those cravings. Hmmmm...time to get salads back in my plan.

B - scrambled eggs with asparagus

S - hard boiled egg, cheese stick

L - chinese (hopefully chicken w/brocoli)

S - walnuts

D - not sure yet but maybe a nice big salad

Good morning everybody, :)

anytime Rhonda we all need some support sometimes. I had shortcake yesterday after dinner with mixed fruit, so I totally fell of the wagon too. Oh well, today I'll be sticking to my plan!!!! }(

4:30 am PLB

S - Protein Shake, Bran-A-Crisp with a piece of cheese

B - Pumpkin Muffins (thank you Laura!)

L - a small salad, Protein Shake

S - Nuts

D - (well I know, it's not too healthy) Cheese-Mushroom Quesadillas with Tortilla Chips, Gucamole (how do you spell that), sour cream and Hot Sauce :9

Fruit for dessert, yes fruit, nothing sugary x(

I hope you all have a great day without any temptations
Kristine :D

Hi all,

6:00 am - Leaner Legs

B - coffee
S - Myoplex Lite shake
L - soup, salad
S - yogurt, cheese, apple
D - low-fat spinach lasagna

Confession, had 2 small, homemade sugar cookies with a cup of tea last night. Boy they sure were good. :9 Hey, God did not mean for women to live on salad alone.

Have a big day.

Hi Everyone! Well last night's workout the strength training part of SJ&P didn't go too well. The leg part was fine at 40#s but I then tried all upper body work at 30#s; REMIND ME NEVER TO DO THIS AGAIN! OUCH! I didn't have much strength either due to sinuses acting up. I wasn't breathing too good very raspy. Next time I'm just going to call it a day & see how I feel the next day. No point in killing myself which is what I was trying to do last night. I don't quite know what to do tonight. I was planning on working my upper body again using HSTA DVD & Push/Pull DVD. I'll let you know tomorrow if I survived. My eats, however, are right on track:

Meal 1: 2 jumbo egg white omelet w/1 slice ww toast w/blueberry jam + coffee
Meal 2: mini ww bagel w/whipped cream cheese + green tea
Meal 3: tilapia w/pineapple salsa & mixed veggies + apple
Meal 4: mixed green salad w/chicken
Meal 5: chicken marsala/brown rice/carrots

Kristine: I like your dinner much better than mine.:9

Have a great day everyone! Kathy:D

Thanks Kathy! :)

I would invite you over, but my DH would get mad }(, because when there wouldn't be enough for him. :)

Kristine :)

There must have been "something in the air" last night. I had cravings all day and night for chocolate. I caved after dinner and had 2 squares of a Hershey's Symphony bar. But skipped my last two bites of mashed potatoes to make up for it :) I did manage to get my UBWO in last night WOOHOO. I am still skipping back though until I get into the PT. Which means I MUST call today!!

Today's eats:
Ham & Cheese Egg Casserole
Turkey bacon, string cheese, oatmeal (am going to work on getting a better protein source here but I am CC'd out!)
White Turkey Chili, BFL
Chicken, beans on the road to the hospital
Beef Jerky, granny smith apple
Beef Jerky, granny smith apple

workout today: Cardio at lunch

Have to add in that I ate the inside of my spring roll and a couple bites of fried rice. Did get the chicken with brocoli.

My workout this morning was MR Raising the bar and am hoping to get in walking/jogging intervals on the treadmill tonight.
