Hi everyone,
Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Back to work so I can post again.

4am KPC (doing the january rotation)

B - scrambled eggs with some lite fruit cocktail
S - cheese, lf triscuits
L - leftover grapeleaves
S - body for life protein bar
D - venison, salad, potatoes

I made it through the first day of south beach---it's not bad at all!! I ate the low-fat vanilla ricotta creme dessert that they recommend after each dinner and I never got hungry again before bed-time!! That's never happened to me before, especially when I eat early at 5:30-6:00. All of this yummy & healthy food is such a treat for me, even though it takes a lot of time to prepare!!

3:30pm--30 minutes treadmill then push pull

B--baked egg white w/spinach, morningstar bfast patty, coffee
S--15 raw almonds
L--south beach chopped salad w/tuna and sugar free jello cup
S--2 lettuce and tofu roll-ups w/chipotle mustard
D--baked sesame tofu w/roasted eggplant and peppers and tossed salad
**and for dessert--low-fat mocha ricotta creme!!! (can't wait :9 )
 
Hi everyone. Does anyone know if you can have coffee on BFL? I went through major w/drawal yesterday and ended up with a killer headache. Today I had 2 cups with a dab a ff creamer - I normally used more creamer in one coffee then I did in the 2.

B: lean ham and oatmeal w/splenda & cinnamon, water
S: BFL nutrition bar, water
L: turkey, carrots and a baked potato, water
S: ff cottage cheese w/a banana
D: shrimp, brown rice w/green onions & mushrooms, broccoli, water
S: protein shake

I'm going to the gym at lunch. I think that I am going to do upper body today or cardio. Depending on how crowded it is and what machines are being used. Then tonight I'll do whatever I didn't get in at the gym. Either PUB or KPC.

Hi All! I think that you can drink Coffee on the BFL program, because they have those coffee house protein shakes that you can get at teh grocery store. I actually had one yesterday, needless to say that with caffeine in my system I ended up doing CTX kickbox because there was no way I was going to hold still with that much energy. So yesterdays workout was ME and CTX Kickbox. I'm sore.
Ok, today's workout will be only cardio, and it will probably be Hi Low Heaven. I am not going to do a workout with a lot of arm movements, and no step for me today.

B- oatmeal W/ apples and flaxseed
S- EAS coffee house shake
L- lettuce W/ chicken and Newmans own balsamic light vinagrette
D- meatloaf W/ cauliflower and cheese
S- Apple

You are very Welcome Dana. I've never read the book, but it was a good guess. I know all about caffeine headaches, I went cold turkey on caffeine about 2 months ago, and it was not a fun week.

Has anyone tried the BFL cookies and cream nutrition bars. They are good (at least to me). There have been a lot of bars that I just cannot take but these are good.

Has anyone tried the Hershey's Healthzone bars? I have seen them advertised but haven't had a chance to get to the store to check them out. They follow the 40-30-30 plan.
