healthy cookie recepies

This kinda tastes like chocolate oatmeal cookie dough. Take a few scoops of chocolate protein powder, mix with some dry oats and add water until you have a paste and eat. Seriously, its good! That, or I have been dieting way too strict, for way too long....;)

There is a new "Baking with Agave Nectar" book coming out or has just come out for those you avoiding the sugar. Me luv cookies! }( }( }( }(

I haven't tried these, but Ellie Krieger on the food network has several highly rated "healthy" cookie recipes -- or I guess as healthy as a cookie can be and still be a cookie :p . Each recipe includes nutritional information.

Here's a few:

>I forgot all about Ellie "Bomb Diggity Chick" Krieger!

I love Ellie and I'm sure she'd be thrilled to know she made Beavs coveted Bomb Diggity list!! :7

I made these for Christmas, and they were pretty good! kept me in line and away from the "unhealthy" stuff for sure!

Easy Pumpkin Cookies
1 box spice cake mix
1 can pure pumpkin -- (15 oz.)

Mix together and drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 for around 10 minutes or until firm. Allow to cool. Makes 48
cookies. These are so soft and good. Notes: 1 point each
*you can use a white cake mix and add 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice*

And these are sooo good, use dark chocolate chips, and they're even healthier!

Haystacks

Here's one I used to make with my kids all the time.

Good-For-You Gems

1/2 c. dry milk
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. granola (divided)

Combine dry milk, honey, peanut butter and 3/4 c. granola and knead mixture until combined. Shape into balls (works better if hands are slightly dampened) and roll balls in remaining granola to coat.

Store in refrigerator.
