Headaches from jumping in workouts ?

Gyggles1

I have had a headache for a few days and I am almost certain its when I workout with the plyos, well any jumping.... I do have fun with it but I think I am throwing my neck and upper back out of alignment... does this happen to anyone else ? and what do you do about it ? other then to visit the chiropractor to often, LOL.
I love Cathe's video's but haven't been able to do them for a few days due to having to pick something thats less intense.
Any tips ?

Laura I found that as I got older Yes I got headaches wiht too much impact and neck pain so i do step occasionally but do most cardio on the treadmill and this has eliminated the probllem If this si not an option just do modifications myabe better shoes or maybe a better surface wood floors as opposed to cement or carpet on cement I also jump rope and that is quite low impact and cheap investment and hard!

Hey Laura,

I don't know if your headaches are from the high impact of Cathe's workouts but I also think you need to pick something less intense, necessarily. Just modify by not jumping as much. You can still achieve the same cardio intensity without the impact.

Hope you are feeling better.

Boot camp gives me headaches. Because the warmup is not intense enough to prepare you for the intensity of the cardios. If I add BC cardio, to IMAX, this does not happen. It may have to do with not long enough of a warmup. Try doing some additional warming up, like do it twice or something and see if that helps....
