Have you ever noticed...

Have you ever noticed that when you get annoyed/angry/upset with someone else, it does not occur to you to think of how you share the same trait as the object of your displeasure or have made a similar transgression yourself in the past? <I have been actively practising "And How Am I Like This?" every time I am angered and I have to say, I am amazed at my past hypocrisy/lack-of-self-awareness and have much less occasion to be angry!>

That would be me 10000000% percent. :p I try to be aware of it, but, well........

----Have you ever noticed that the louder you shout, the more wrong you sound?

-----Have you ever noticed that when you stub your toe, or slam your knee or shin into something, you have a split second surge of wanting to blame someone else, even when you are alone!?

------Have you ever noticed that people pick their noses while stopped at stop lights?

:D

I have nothing to add here, but Janis, these were hysterical!

I have enjoyed reading all of these, but I really did LOL on these!

Have you ever noticed how you can jump on the Cathe forums and read somthing like this thread and your day just feels better?

Have you ever been in a restaurant and ordered something that tastes terrible and you say to the person with you "This is awful, try it."

I was planning to say this...just not as eloquently. I've noticed that I am the person who angers me most. I give her a different name, but it's me. I just finished a long rant about how self absorbed my mother is and how I don't want to be like her. And yes, my rant was all about me. Hmmm...
