As for buying from Ebay, it all depends. If the description of the DVD is not clear enough to judge what condition it is in (I always list how many times, more-or-less, it's been used or viewed if it's 6 times or fewer, or whether it was just previewed and not used after that), you can always send a message to the seller and ask more specifically.
I've bought some autographed photos (James Marsters as "Spike," Leonard Nimoy as "Spock") from Ebay, but never a workout DVD or video. Strange, as I sell a lot of them.
