Cheeeeeeeeeeeeewd morning!
It's really sunny and beautiful over here...and yet I'm freezing my butt off!
I'm dressed and ready to go out the door, broken Nintendo DS Lite in hand and Pyr Upper Premix under my belt.
Michele - I was LMAO at your kind reminders to me to chew. I'm going to keep them running in my head while I'm out and eating today.
You know, I was kind of relieved to see what you wrote about how I had been doing more cardio before so this break from it would sort of even things out. I like that thinking!
So some of the ants are staying away from the bait, eh? Wow. Those smarty p-ants. How long is it you're supposed to wait again?
Oogi is doing well, thank you. She's paid off her last house loan and now has several rooms full of ripe radishes for the Stalk Market, just waiting for the big kill! Since it's Spring, she decided to have her house painted hot pink, and I must say it looks lovely! The fishing tournament is this Saturday, so she's going to try to catch something big in the next few days and store it at home in a tank.
Your Mom's bday is the same day that Heather will reward you with the recipe for completing the rotation? Wow, now that's great incentive!
MSY -
>yelled at the top of her lungs "a penis butter sandwich!"
LMAO!.....................sounds fattening.
Hope you had a good treadmill.
Arista -
>I just love food so much, I prefer to scarf it down.
LMAO.
Yes, I think a little less cardio is sitting well with me. I even threw in Tamilee Webb's I Want That series into my rotation. I haven't done that DVD since...well, sheesh, that was the first weight workout I ever got! I can't wait to (hopefully) really impress myself.
Your talk about proposing to Ryan totally took me off guard. You've got some massive b*lls, Arista. Course, you know Ryan and how he might react to various things,...and if you think the timing is right, I say, you're awesome! I could totally feel the energy coming out of your post. I wish you the best on your feeling and instinct, and hope that Ryan will reciprocate.
Deb - I think if you want to get the Texas Sheet Cake recipe, you're going to have to cheer on Michele for a particular rotation. From what I understand, the recipe is her reward for its completion.
Before I get to the heart of the great info you wrote, I just have to tell you that I LMAO soooooo loud to see that you are snacking on :
>some cut green paper
I've never heard of that plan! But now that it's written out, I can see how that would make you lose weight. Is there any reasoning to choosing green paper as opposed to say, blue paper?
LMAO!!
Anyway, I read with great interest about your experience following your he!!ish GS rotation. Thanks for writing such detail. I totally hear what you're saying. In the last couple weeks, I too, have been really pushing myself to workout and whenever it's a cardio day, I end up subbing something for it that's totally not cardio and something that's short. I'm not sure why I'm feeling that way, unless...
Has anyone heard of some kind of curse that comes with doing Gym Style?
LOL.
I'd been doing 60-70 minutes of exercise for a while and really enjoying it and having no trouble doing it......I didn't see that it was leading me down Burn Out Road (sorry, that was totally cheesy, but it had to be written LOL). I happened to get fairly burned out (without really knowing it) while I've been having a busy spell at work, and being out all the time also had me allowing myself to eat things that I hadn't been eating at all (junk). Then one day I suddenly didn't want to put on gym shoes. Or my HRM. Or my sports bra LOL.
But luckily suddenly a couple days ago, I've felt something of a shift in my eating. I'm suddenly naturally not wanting to eat junk. (Which ain't to say I'm not getting donuts when I come across a donut shop.) And like you, I've been snacking on fruit. I'm hoping the change of rotation starting the first of next month (I'm anal - I've got to finish up this month's rotation - insert eye roll here) will bring me new inspiration.
I've also got lots of out-of-town weekends coming up that I'm hoping will bring me new donut shops, but that's another thing altogether.
Wait a minute - note to self : CHEW.
Anyway, I think your waiting to start P90X is a really wise one.
Jen - The egg white oatmeal pancakes are totally yum!
Here's what I do :
4 egg whites
A scoop of raw oatmeal
A sliced banana
A couple tablespoons of frozen blueberries
Topping = Cinnamon and a tbsp of organic peanut butter
Mix em all up together and then put them in a frying pan and make a pancake (or a scramble, as I usually end up doing).
Kara - I'm sending you TOP GRADE A vibes on your final!!
Okay. I'm dressed and ready. Later!
And one last reminder : CHEW.
