Good morning!
Cham has discovered the window sill. It's about the length of a sofa and the part she can walk on is quite narrow, so it's like she's practicing a circus act. Except once she gets to the side where there isn't a TV table from which to jump, her only choice is to back up, which she doesn't seem to enjoy very much LOL.
I have to go to work today and this morning I've realized that I spent all my time in the last couple days playing with and caring for the squirrels, and I did NO preparation for today. So I'm off to do that!
Heh.
DIANE - Haha, I can see how searching the house would provide way more entertainment at first than boring ever-prodding humans. It's been just shy of two weeks over here, but the squirrels are only 9.5 weeks old so maybe it will take them a little longer.
I could put the air-conditioner on high and see if they seek out heat LOL.
I safe-proofed my room, but didn't block off under the bed (I did safe-proof under the bed though), and that has become their safe place, rather than the luxury condo I got them http://bestsmileys.com/doh/1.gif . Then I read that when there are hiding places like that, it takes a little longer to get used to the place. But since they've already found it and obviously feel safe down there, I don't want to take it from them. So we'll just take our time and see how it goes.
And then I'll destroy my bed.
Anyway, thanks for the words of encouragement! And right on about your extra moolah, even if it's just for a short period of time!
DANA - Thanks for the link because I really, really need to buy my squirrels MORE stuff LOL. I've marked it and will scour through it on my return from work. My guys are eating premium and they love it. When I gave them dry for the first time, oh man, watch out! How cute for Ralphie to get the salmon oil. I'll bet those things don't come cheap. He's a lucky little puppy! Reminds me when I used to invest in flaxoil LOL.
>you're my idol and I"m trying to be just like you
LMAO. Well then you better find some good pajamas.
MICHELE - Have you oiled up that injury of yours? Perhaps next time your play with your relatives, you could suggest Nintendo DS Lite? I usually only get a mild wrist ache when I use my DS.
ROBIN - Caffeine withdrawals! LMAO! Well, I'm sorry to hear you were feeling gucky, and I'm glad you found that your DH was to blame, heh!
Don't prod me on like that about my talking about Mooch and Cham or we'll be having long posts like we did with Oogi (she's still around, but doing minimal work).
Yes, you're very clever to think that Cham might be short for something. I let my work partner name her...and he decided on the name because she is....Charming. LOL. So Cham is short for Chammee (in Japanese, the word charming is pronounced "cha-mee-n-gu").
>Give them a few months (years?)
LMAO! A few...YEARS?!
>Elbow grease will not help.
LOL, we're making the same joke.
Congrats to you on your Jan raise, too! Woo hooo! Everyone is getting their hair done and getting raises. I need to look into these things.
>I think she was just giving us hints and waiting for someone to come right out and say it.
But now the flood gates are open and you'll be hearing more and more about the squirrels unless you instruct otherwise!
I guess this means my guilt is gone LOL.
Hi, Jen!
All right then. I should get ready for work. But Mooch and Cham have just settled down near me on the sofa and it breaks my heart to have to leave them when they're sitting close to me. Or interacting with me in any way. Or looking at me. LOL.
Say, maybe they don't want to get in my lap because I'm wearing silk boxers at home all the time?
Have a great day, everyone!
Oh geez, no icons today. I'll work on that. My computer line is acting slow today for some reason so it was hard to go back and forth to the smilies page.
Okay then.
Later!
