HATE - Feb 9

OK, hold the phone... Organic Tater Tots??? They may not be that healthy, but since they're organic, can I get away with eating them?? I can try...}(

Don't worry Jen, now that I've finished my press release, I'm being lazy too. And since you're not feeling good, you totally have a right to be slackin'!

Diane - Good to hear from you... I hope your review didn't stress you out too much. Can't wait to hear about the third baby reveal tomorrow night!

OK, back to work....;(

It was actually funny at my performance review today because I they were telling things like "When you try out for partner" and "And few years from now you should be doing this.." etc b/c I am planning on being a SAHM so it was pointless. My partner is going to be so depressed when I leave, I think that he really thinks I should be a partner. But not the life for me, thank you. At least I got a raise and a bonus, I will always take some more money.

Diane, I'm glad your review went well, but then, I had no doubt that it would. I think you're making a wise decision to stay home after your baby is born. It's a blessing that not everyone can afford, but for those who can it's a great choice. I think you will be a fantastic mom, too. You can always go back to work later, or even find something to do from home.

Now I'm craving a donut.

I really need to straighten up and fly right. I'm screwing up big time. I do this every single time I make the least little bit of headway. Why do I sabotage myself like this? Gawd, I'm such a frigging nightmare!

Michelle
I constantly sabotage myself
for me im sure its self-esteem issues at work

i am in NO mood to do any exersize at all. but im forcing myself to do a Gilad (Quick and intense) Ab workout
at least i will have done something

Hi Mariah,

I haven't analyzed my situation, but I can tell you this -- I could look at Gilad all day long}( :p :). He is soooooo hunky and cute. I used to do his workouts years ago when he had a show on ESPN. His sister had a show, too, and I did hers as well. I wonder what ever happened to his sister?

She probably got married stopped exercising and got fat and Gilad disowned her
what happened to the mother too remember she used to be on all the time
well they do reruns on FitTV and she is on a few
ok i did the abs a lousy 15 mins but at least it was something
i have to get changed now and go to a meeting and will grab a taco bell salad for dinner later

What was her name maybe we could look her up

she had some body
and it was a military type exersize format remember??

Okay, I really think something is WRONG with me... I almost didn't have the energy to do Tone It Up - I did, but for what is typically a so/so level w/o for me seemed like it almost killed me tonight. I am so glad to have it over with, I also did 200 jumping jacks, swept the whole house, and mopped the kitchen, one bathroom, and the laundry room. Now I am going to take a nice HOT shower and be a bum with my kitties!

I am also starving, like WAY hungrier than normal... what do you think is going on? I mean, as I said earlier I have been going to the bathroom a lot more this week-do you think that could make me this hungry? Normally at 6PM I'm not even close to being starved and right now my arm is looking really good! It is a really good thing I just don't have crap laying around this house cause if I did, I'd eat it.

Diane- A raise, wow-congratulations! I can never get a raise...well I guess I can but I work on commision so my pay depends on me.

Michele- There you go talking about donuts... I WANT ONE!!!!

Arista- Didn't those tator tots look so good? I bet baked they can't be that bad for you, it is the deep frying that makes them really bad.

Michele- What is the fat/calorie content of those tator tots?

Mariah- What type of meeting do you have tonight? Oh, Taco Bell... I used to love taco bell, I want a nacho supreme!

All the news is talking about is Obama... he is supposed to making his big presidential speech tomorrow here in town, same place Lincoln made his speech. I don't think I'll leave the house tomorrow until that is over.

Okay, off to raid the fridge... BBL!

Gosh Jen, for someone who hasn't been feeling well you sure knocked yourself out doing things. You need to REST. Really, your body needs rest and nourishment, and fluids to replace what you've lost in the you know what;)

I'm not sure why you feel hungry. It could be from the fluid loss. Try drinking something and see if that relieves your hunger. Dehydration can sometimes feel like hunger pangs. Could it be TTOM? It could also be that you just did a workout and all that cleaning after a full day of work.

I looked up the nutritional info on the Spud Puppies. Really, it's not too bad considering it's a hash brown potato shaped like a "puppy" LMAO!

Here you go:

Serving size is 3 oz (about 5 per bag - but in real life, about 2 or 2 1/2 per bag)

Calories - 160 Cals from fat - 60
Total Fat - 7g or 11%
Sat Fat - 2g or 8%
Cholesterol - 0g
Total Carbs - 23g
Dietary Fiber - 2g
Sugars - 1g
Protein - 2g

See, not so bad -- it's better than a small order of fries from McDonald's --LMAO!

Go rest!

Mariah, I think Gilad's sister's name is Ada. LOL about her being married and fat. :7

Ah, I think I am now too tired to eat dinner... I did have a snack size bag of kettle corn, the low-fat kind of course.

Those tator tots aren't bad at all, it is how you cook them that makes the difference & baking them is healthy-even the frozen french fries aren't too bad as long as you bake 'em & not deep fry them!

Yeah, my "bathroom" issues haven't been of the fluid kind though, more of the solid issues... if you know what I mean! I probably pee like 10 times/day at work b/c I drink so much water so I'm used to that it's just the other 3x's/day that I'm not used to.

I have the oven heating right now-going to bake one of my fat free pizzas w/ turkey pepp., they are so good. I plan on being in bed so early tonight, like nine or ten, I am such a wuss for being 29! The guy next to me at work today though couldn't go two minutes without sneezing & blowing his nose, he is sick as can be & wouldn't leave. Makes me so mad!!! I have been sneezing too today but I didn't sound like him.

So, is it just you & I around here tonight Michele? Where is everyone?!?!?! They don't love us!

I LOVE YOU !!

I've been doing too much work as usual... not!

I'm about to go get dinner too, and a dark beer will be involved.

Where do you get fat-free pizza from Jen?

There are some strange bugs going around Jen, maybe your not feeling well has to do with your bathroom breaks too. I agree with everyone else... you need to REST. Just chill all weekend. My fiance did that yesterday and he feels like a million today (after being sick for 3 or 4 days).

And don't forget to FEED your cold. fruits, veggies, and other good stuff.. Maybe a spud puppy!! I love that:)

OK, BBL Have a good night girls

Hey August- I think you should try this w/ your sweet potatos!

Sweet Potato and Banana Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
6 medium sweet potatoes (about 2 1/2 pounds)
2 eggs, separated
3/4 cup mashed banana
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION:
In a large saucepan cook sweet potatoes, covered, in enough boiling salted water to cover for 30 to 40 minutes or until tender; drain. Peel potatoes; mash with an electric mixer at low speed. Beat in mashed banana, butter or margarine, lemon peel, and salt.

Beat until fluffy; add egg yolks and beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into sweet potato mixture.

Spoon sweet potato mixture into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350° for 20 minutes; uncover and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer. This sweet potato casserole serves 8.

Oh wait, this sound yummy too:

Sweet Potato Patties

Sweet potatoes are mashed and shaped into patties, coated with crushed corn flakes then baked.
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 cups crushed corn flakes
PREPARATION:
Combine sweet potatoes, butter, milk, salt, and sugar. Form into 6 patties; roll in corn flakes to coat. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.

I love you, Jen:*

Enjoy your pizza. I still haven't had dinner and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to have.

I have a date to do my Cardio Coach workout again tomorrow morning. Tammy (oldfirmie) and I are both going to do the same workout at 10:30:)

I'm signing off for the night but I'll see y'all tomorrow :* :*

Oh, I forgot to post that I found a FREE website that gives you a menu to go off of each week to lose weight. Its www.foodfit.com. This particular menu I'll be using involves about 2000 calories, which I think is about right for me. I always get too friggin hungry on anything less.

I agree... I sabotabe myself too!! Like I had lost a few pounds last week, so I make cookies over the weekend. ARGH!! I'm such an idiot.

Self-esteem is most certainly involved. I used to be a real fatty in high school, and I think I still see myself that way.

Oh well, this fatty is going to go get some dinner. :p

Ah, thanks guys...I love you too!

Arista- www.pizzafree.com - the cost they show included shipping & they are SO good & FAT FREE!!!!! And repeat with me, I am not a fatty, I am not a fatty, I am not a fatty!!!! i won't have you talking that way about our Arista!

Michele- Enjoy Cardio Coach... aren't you supposed to hate Cardio? Are you pulling a "Robin" on us?!?!?

Hi Arista! We always seem to post at the same time.:7

I promise, I'm not pulling a Robin on you...but I do LOVE coach Sean:+

Okay, I'm out of here now.:*

Did somebody say my name?

Whew, what an exhausting day. A couple people called in sick, so we had a very hectic morning. DH called and his car had broken down, so I had to leave work to pick him up and he dropped me off at work. DD and grandson picked my up and we had to run to 3 different pharmacies before we could get medicine for the baby's nebulizer. We also bought a washer. It was cheaper then the one we put $$ down on last night and a better brand. Plus they don't charge for delivery or to take away the old washer. That saved another $30. It will be delivered Monday and we can start to climb Mt Washmore. THEN we had to stop and do the grocery shopping. By the time I got home, I felt like I'd run a marathon. And I still had to make dinner. Which was very good, I might add. We had roasted shrimp with lemon and rosemary. Along with a nice bottle of dry white wine. Followed by a movie and now I'm ready for bed. I'm sorry I missed all the chatting here. You guys have been busy. I hope you all enjoyed your tater tots, sweet potatoes and bananas and fat free pizzas with dark beer. And chocolate covered raisins for dessert? Oh, by the way, with all the running around, I didn't get to my workout, so tomarrow, which should have been a rest day, will be leaner legs. But enough about me. Good night August, Michele, Diane, Dana, Terri, Arista, Jen and Mariah. Did I forget anyone? Hope not. And June 13 is my big day. I'll be as old a Michele - a wise and wonderful 52. Yikes.
