HATE - Feb 19

Hey girls...

I hope everyone had a good day. I'm about to go drown myself in a the remains of the box of Wheat Thins that I've already made a huge dent in. Sometimes I hate being a grown up.

Hello haters! Home from work, worked out-did KPC Cardio and 30 min Bun Shaper from beachbody, along with 200 jumping jacks & walking 2 miles today. Feeling pretty good for a Monday!

Terri- Yeah, I work my lower body quite a bit-that is my major problem areas-hips, thigh, butt so I have to keep on top of it! No, I usually don't get DOMS at all, sometimes my hamstrings get tight if I don't stretch enough but besides that no pain! Shovelmax is officailly over for now, the sun was out today & it even got into the 40's!!! That stinks about being in Paris sick. I have learned that if I am going to give into temptation that I have to do it when I'm at home & don't have anything planned for that evening or the next morning cause I know I'll be in the bathroom paying for it...but sometimes it is still worth it! I am thinking this Friday night may be that night! }(

Michele- The only reason I am half way decent about staying on task is that I have no kids or a husband to "deal" with, just me & the cats! That makes things a lot easier! That temtation for a McDonalds quarter pounder will not go away...I think I may cave this weekend, only for Mariah sake, of course! ;-) Too funny about your step, I would NEVER think that, really, never...:D I am very glad I finally got it, even though i can't do step that often... x( Is your DH home yet?

Arista- You & your wanting to get sick...too funny! I used to think the same way, I felt "bad" for being a complete blob and not moving from the couch for a day... I got over that though for the most part...I still feel the need to do "something", like clean a bathroom, mop, laud of laundry, but other than that I figure while we are young w/o kids & not married is the time to ENJOY being a blob & take advantage of it! So, you have from blessing! :)

August- Sounds like Dana's neighbor would've have a grand old time at the all you can drink $100 wedding party! You missed the BINGO??? Under the I, 50...I 50...B 29....B...29 - HOLD YOUR CARDS I THINK WE GOT A WINNER!!! :D Can you tell I grew up in a really small town that had a 4th of July party "uptown" every year w/ nightly bingo!! Your throw up story had me cracking up...I'll have to think on that, not sure I have any puke stories but I did get thrown out of a concert once for a peeing "episode"...

Robin- So, how was breakfast w/ your friend? Any new news on Greyor?

Dana- No, I had to work today. We only get 5 holidays a year, really stinks. It was very slow today though which allowed me to get 5 compliance courses done on-line that i needed to do. I would recommend getting the VHS of either one or two as opposed to the new DVD available on collage video. The first two are better & more advanced. Wow, sleeping until 10AM for a mom, that is good! Your house doesn't look that bad! :)

Diane- Glad to hear you are good, love the new ticker, so cute!

Shelley- How are the wheat thins? How was the day off and your appoitment, I think you said you had one?

Well I am starving & need to figure out something for dinner. Sport is REALLY interested in the computer screen again...he is trying to get the words as I type them, he keeps biting at the screen! If I take the mouse & keep moving it real fast on the screen it drives him crazy but makes me laugh my *ss off!! }(

Hi everyone.

My friend and I just had bagels for breakfast. Nothing too exciting. One funny thing though. There was a new girl taking our orders. We sat down and she brought our bagels over to us. My friend started to butter hers when the older owner of the business came running out yelling," Don't spread, don't spread!" Turns out the new girl had given my friend mayo instead of butter. I would have loved to seen my friend's face with the first bite though.
Greyor is better, but he is still a very sick little boy. He's still is full of mucus and is wheezy and coughing. No one gave us any idea of when he could be discharged. It's still a waiting game.

Shelley, yeah, being a grown up with decisions and responsibilities is hard sometimes. {{{BIG HUG}}}

Terri, oh, that was a mean thing to do to your DH! I'll have to look for that recipe in Cooking Light. But I think the last time I used tarragon in a recipe, we weren't crazy about it.

Dana, no, the Thai restaurant is in W-port. And I love fausnaughts. I'm glad the banquet was good. Too bad about the alcoholic woman. So sad. Both my parents abused alcohol, but they rarely got fall down drunk. I love the picture of the house in disaster mode. Oh boy, I can hardly wait.

Diane, I'm glad you aren't as worried. It will be nice for your folks when they get the go ahead to blab.

Michele, I hope your cold clears up soon. I also hope you and your DH have a lovely reunion. Good luck with the anti-anting.

I managed to do Power Hour before leaving for the hospital and didn't eat TOO badly today. I did have a bag of chips at the hospital. I should have packed a sandwich. Now I'm headed to bed with a book I hope to finish. See you all tomarrow. Night.
