any one here like one or the other. i love strength dvds and keep buying them i hate cardio dvds and buy them rarely if i do i rarely use them

I totally agree with you, I have to force myself to do the very few I have. I mostly focus on strength because I am at my ideal weight. I am finishing up a GS rotation now and my next purchase is S&H.

I too prefer strength. As far as cardio goes, I like kickboxing and plain old power walking the best. I can't do step at all because of:
1) complexity and choreography (even the so-called easy ones ;))
2) my knees!

I tend to like resistance training more, and there are a lot of cardio workouts that I avoid (anything with "dancy" or "complex choreography" in the description, LOL!). I DO like more athletic cardio, though, and especially like kickboxing.

What I hate for cardio, though, is machines! I get bored after about 5 minutes and just can't stick with any machines (I've gone though several, from ski machines, to ellipticals, to mini-steppers, to those "gazelle" things, and they always ended up being dust collectors).

Oh I agree!

Me TOO. I am an absolute baffoon on step. I RUN for extra cardio, because even 'I' can put one foot in front of the other! ;-)

I love strength vids though. Keeps me working all the muscle groups.

I LOVE strength workouts! I wake before the alarm on those mornings but cardio days (except kickboxing) get the snooze button several times. ;-)
