Cathlete
Tippity top morning!
So can I tell you about my nap?
I was settled into my good ol' Snake Sofa, sacrificing myself to its magic grip, slowly falling under into its spell......when my partner suddenly quacks out some work-related question from across the room at me and snatches me up and out of captivity. http://bestsmileys.com/angry1/3.gif He knows me better than to do a thing like that. At work no less!
So then I couldn't shake the cranks for at least two hours http://bestsmileys.com/evil/9.gif. That'll teach him to ask me work stuff at work when I'm half asleep.
http://bestsmileys.com/innocent/2.gif
But it was a wonderful day after that, and Oogi was able to go play at her friend's village for a while, and certain circumstances during that playtime activated No Face Kitty to appear today.
No Face Kitty has no face http://bestsmileys.com/clueless/1.gif. You make one for him. I thought I'd made a really cool face for him, but I had no idea that what I thought was just the face was actually the face plus half his head, so the face I made ended up wrapping around his head, making it look giant and swollen. But he seemed fairly pleased with it anyway.
Anyway.
ARISTA - I have never heard of BABEL. It's a movie? A Japanese movie? Sounds like a downer. I also can't stand for downer movies any more. Yup, I'm in Tokyo, but I hope it won't make you associate Tokyo with downerness.
That's so good that their protein bars are good ones. Have you ever had a bad protein bar? You would not believe how BAD they can be. I've also recently discovered that I love protein bars when I'm eating UBER clean. Once you don't eat UBER clean, protein bars taste completely funkified.
I was kind of surprised to see you only eat two proteins a day! Oh wait, I guess there's protein in the bars, too. And don't you be scoffing at 3 pounds. Don't forget you need to take off the pounds slowly or else they get scared and run back home.
You know, I never used to take naps. But in the last couple years I've gotten really good at them. Before, if I napped even just a little, it would totally throw me off at night. But now that my work schedule is so wacky, it's become a necessity for me to learn how to nap. And now I do it with gusto.
Wouldn't it be great if people would just give money to you as wedding presents instead of stuff you don't need? Hey, how about asking that everyone include a receipt with the present, and details on where the store is located? LOL.
Oh yay, you'll be halving your school load! That'll give you more time for fun for sure. And I think the down-to-earth, personal wedding you are planning sounds wonderful. So long as you serve good cake, right?
MARIAH - Hello, busy bee, thank you for your compliment on my wording. It made me happy. LOL for watching Beach Bodies. I've never even previewed my workouts. I know, I should be locked away LOL. I've heard so many great things about the Beach Body series. How do you like them?
I've heard mixed things about Lasik, but of the people I actually know who got it, the thumbs are all way up. It sounds pretty great.
OMG, I can't believe your blind date story!!!!!! WTH?! That's like something I would see in a movie and wonder why the director would choose to put in something so unrealistic. How weird! At least it makes for a good story!
SHELLEY - Your (cue echo effect) The Warm Outfit sounds toasty. I would be wearing it every day.
>I would stop traffic. And not in a good way
LOL.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother's passing. And for cancer to be around in your family like that. You must be really in tune as to what to be on the lookout for, and what things to try to avoid and whatnot. How is your sister doing?
ROBIN - Oh, I know how it is to be computerless. It's unbearable. I'd be at a loss for what to do with myself....I'm sorry to hear about how your father passed. It's so hard having to watch someone go through horrible illnesses (which I can only assume is nothing compared to actually going through it yourself).
>LOL about getting naked and being poked. Works for my DH.
LOL!
Urgh, that foggy drive sounded awful. How scary. I'm glad things cleared up after that.
MICHELE - I agree with Shelley. It really does depend on who is poking me and with what, and I guess what my general mood is.
I'm so sorry to hear that you weren't able to sleep. I take full responsibility. It must have been all my napping. I don't know why I've been so sleepy lately. I think it's the cold weather. No wait, did I have twins? No, no, I was right the first time, it's the cold weather.
>One of the reasons I quit going to the liberry is that whole dropping the books off thing.
LMAO.
So I see you got jealous of Heather and went to buy a ton of stuff, too. Woo hoo for new workout clothing! Does it inspire you to workout more?
And LOL, I see you're copying me AGAIN, saying that you're surprised that Arista is only eating two proteins!
By the way, I love your little arrow guy near your name.
BECKY -
>See? I'm horrible at this.
LMAO! Here, I'll make it easy for you and give you The Rules of Hate Posting.
1. Post anything. We're desperate for news.
BRIEE - Hi, again, Briee, hi!
DANA - Oh man, lobster get-together in Maine! That would be so great!...Oh, love the S&H series. Do you feel DOMS yet?....Your lucky co-workers. Tell us how Jen's Tomatoes come out!
I think you should get the dog. Think of it - you could take the dog out for cardio walks. And you could bring him to Maine when we all have our get-together. He can stay in my cottage.
Yup, I've got one brother and we're really close. And he lives in Tokyo, too.
The couch is sold as a set (I don't think they make them anymore, I'm not sure) and it's really long. I guess it's made for a gigantic room, which we don't have, so the couch is zipped up into a slightly long couch plus a seperate fairly big sofa chair. We totally lucked out because the President of the place we work bought the thing thinking to put it in a particular place but when he got it, it didn't fit! (Apparently the man has never bought a measure.) DUH! So then he had this mongo couch and no place to put it and asked if we'd help him out by using it. At first my partner and I were bummed we had to put it in our workspace, but man, once I got horizontal on it, it was OURS.
>Ya know, when you aren’t following any particular eating plan and eat what ever you want and then decide to start a structured eating plan, you seem like you are starving. I think it is probably a mind thing. I do the same thing too. Or you could be like me, and were just eating too much. LOL
LMAO!!
HEATHER - Milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, barley, oats, corn, and rice?! What on earth do you eat for three weeks? Actually, I'm really interested to read more about the info in the link you sent. I'll bet the info is in there. Did you do the test in order to find the things to which you are allergic? Although it's a bummer what you can't seem to eat, it must be such a relief to know what to avoid. What besides eggs and dairy do you eat for proteins, may I ask?
I never had any trouble with anything until a few years ago when all of a sudden I was bloating all over the place. That's when I started researching and exercising...and ultimately cut cow milk out from my diet. I would love to know if there are other foods that I'm allergic to or don't really agree with me. Although it would be very difficult for me to avoid the things you listed for three weeks since I'm often out of town for work on the weekends and being fed by sponsors. http://bestsmileys.com/eating2/6.gif
So the road trip is in August? And you're going? Who else is going? I want to go! But since I can't, I want lots of stories. And photos.
What's up with that Aunt Flo of yours? How inconsiderate of her.
DIANE - Wow, that's a nice client! Now you can goof off at work and watch music videos when you should be working on something.
JEN - Glad to hear you've come up with a strategy to balance your weekday and weekend foods. I hope that will do the trick.
CORRIE - I know, I LOVE using those smilies! I'm so glad you figured out how to use them, too!
http://bestsmileys.com/happy/1.gif
