HATE - Aug 24

Hey haters. I'm up to my eyeballs in papers once again.

Diane - that nursey is so pretty. I love it. You did a wonderful job.

Robin - cherry crumb pie is my fave pie of all time. Are you having a family picnic this weekend?

August - you asked why sleeping with your kids earns $20???? LOL Well here is what was going on. . . we had flyers in are cubies at daycare that a midwife was doing her doctorate and her study was on mothers that sleep with their children (co-sleeping). My boys have never slept in a crib ever. If you volunteered 60 minutes of your time she would give you a $20 Wal-Mart gift card. So we met and discussed it and she asked a lot of questions and it was fun.

Guess who's back????? The 5 kitties but 4 are the same and one is different and one of the original ones is not there. Confusing???? At first I thought only 2 were back but then I found one in the garbage can - he couldn't get out. Then Gabe found 2 more. My DH is less then thrilled about this. Last week they were all the way at the end of our yard and in the field. Today, they were on our back deck. They are really cute but they are not mine and I'm afraid if they stick around they will get older and multiply (if you know what I mean). I don't have the money to take care of them (spay/neuter cost) so I hope that they wander back to the farm where they came from. My DH is just like WTH?????

There were 10 episodes on this DVD. I'm finished now.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! :D

DANA - The kitties are back! It makes me happy and sad all at once. Does anybody know what you could do with the little guys? It must be awful for you to be in that situation. I know I would be absolutely torn (before taking them in to be mine :) ). I hope those little guys will be all right.

That's pretty cool about the interview about co-sleeping. I get it now. That's a pretty standard practice in Japan - that babies/children sleep with their parents until a certain age. It's also really normal to bathe together.

So do you have any idea what you'll do with the gift card? Woo hooo!

All right. It's 2:30am so I guess I could at least get into bed. Oogi is hollering at me to water her flowers.

Night night! See you guys next week! :*

Augie - Only 10!? Wow, that's less than half of the shows! I wonder if it included the season finale cliffhanger?

ETA that my favorite DQ treats used to be the Peanut Buster Parfait and the Buster Bar. There was a DQ right next door to my nursing school and we went there practically everyday:eek: :9

Have a nice weekend and don't work too hard:*

Hi Dana! I'm sorry about your kitty dilemma. I'm not sure what I'd do if I found myself in similar circumstances. The only kitties that come into my yard are the ones with a home that people let outside. They come into my yard and torture my indoor kitty by their presence on my patio. Good luck with that. Maybe they'll just go away. :*

I'm trying to get a hold of family in Findlay -- the place where they had that really big flood. I wonder if my nephew was able to get into his office yet. Poor kid. I feel so bad for him. :-(

Hi haters... probably wondering why I'm here so early, right? If not, just humor me, k?? Anyway, I haven't been feeling the best the last few days & last night after working out I started feeling REALLY bad. Sinus headache, swollen throat, feverish, etc... so today I got up feeling worse yet but went to work. I made an appoitment and went to the doctor about 12:30 & have a sinus infection AGAIN. I went back to work until about 2:30 then got out of there for the day. I feel miserable, cold, and tired. I have no appetite but just ate some Kashi cereal for "lunch" and now going to head to the couch and take a nap. I'll probably be back later to see if anyone is around.

August, you are cracking me up with the cramp song.

Shelley- Love your addition to the cramp song, sounds like you & I are both miserable today. Hope your cramps get better.

Michele- I LOVE hot fudge, can't remember the last time I had ice cream... I love blizzards too though but I agree with Robin & August, it isn't normal not to like hot fudge... :p Let us know how your DN business is, I feel so bad for everyone that is dealing with the flooding, I can't even begin to imagine how hard that has to be.

Robin- Pie... I'll take a banana cream pie, my favorite!!! :9

Okay, well off to nap, BBL.

{{{{{JEN}}}}} You poor thing. This sinus thing has been a problem off and on for you all summer, hasn't it!? This same thing happened to me before so I know how truly awful you must feel. You rest, ya hear, or I'm coming over there! I'll send you some homemade chicken soup:*

Thanks for your concern for my DN. I think I mentioned him a few months ago -- he's the one who graduated from optometry school in May. He's a great kid. Actually, I think he's your age. He turns 30 in September. Anyway, his office is in downtown Findlay and he couldn't even get to it because the roads were closed so, as of yesterday, he didn't even know how much damage there was. I'd appreciate all the prayers you've got. He's special to me -- he's my Godson :+

Hot fudge on ice cream is an abomination!:p :7

Have a nice nappypoo, k!?:* :*

Hey Michele- Yeah, this summer has been horrible for me. This sinus infection though I swear is ten times worse than the other two. I can't even walk without my head feeling like it is going to explode b/c of all the pressure in it and it is just a piercing headache. I just woke up and all I want to do is go back to sleep so the pain goes away!!! I think I'll have some more cereal and take more medicine and try to go to bed as early as possible.

Have you talked to your DN today? He is my age... is everyone in your family so smart? Doctors & nurses everywhere in your family! :) Keep us posted & I'll say some extra prayers for him along with all the others for the poor people dealing with the flooding. The pictures of Findley on TV are just heart breaking, makes you want to just cry. I was watching Fox News or MSNBC & they were with a couple as they were walking back to their house to see it and the poor lady you could tell was just beyond comprehension of the damage to their home. I also feel so horrible for the families of the miners in UT. That would be hard to not be able to give your loved one a proper burial. I wish more good stories were on the news instead I watch it and it makes me so sad.

Okay, off to fed Storm her shrimp and have some more cereal! :9

Hello Haters.

Diane-Live the pics, you must be real excited!!

Yes, the DQ is an odd place to celebrate anything. This particular DQ buys everything from local farmers and not hhe commisary so it's fresh and homegrown.

The internet, I've done it before and dated on Match.com and E-harmony but I signed up this AM when I got 88% off for 6 months.
It will get me out the house, hopefully.

John, the guy from Holland, I haven't seen him in such a long time that when I do I don't expect anything to happen. Our connection/chemistry was great though.

Have a Great Night/

I'm finally done with my chores. Yay! Dana, the pies are for a church picnic tomorrow afternoon. We'll be at Montgomery Park.

Mmmmmm, DQ. Hot Fudge Brownie Delights were always my favorite. There was a DQ within walking distance of our apartment when we were first married. Actually, it was across the street from the track where we used to go running. Sometimes (we were dirt poor) we would stop for a treat after exercise. It didn't count if you had a diet pepsi with it.

Jennifer, good luck with the on line dating.

Arista, good luck with the kitten. Dana, I hope you can figure out something to do with the kittens. I'm glad I'm not in your shoes.

Time to go wind down in front of the TV, then read and bed. Night all.
