August

Cathlete
OMG, WHERE, where can I get those FONTS?!

What other cool things have I missed in these last few days?!

My friends took an overnight on their own from today, so I'm free. FREE! LOL. Mom is out of town until next Friday. My friends leave on Monday, but I'll be out of town tomorrow night.

HOW YOU ALL DOING? http://bestsmileys.com/waving/7.gif

I quickly read up on the posts and was happy to hear that you are all doing fine (and great to hear that Jennifer's dad is doing better). And Dana, I think it's awesome that someone came up to tell you that you are beautiful. It's a wonderful feeling to get such a nice compliment from anybody of any gender or age, so you must feel pretty freaking great! And you should.

Too funny about Ralphie. He must have been hyper about feeling all the way better with his skin condition. I'll bet if he could have talked, he'd have been running around at top speed yelling, "My skin's better! My skin's better! My skin's better! My skin's bett...ow, my leg hurts." LOL.

Speaking of which, Michele, your elbow is still giving you trouble? Jeez! I'll make a point not to get a Wii! How is the BP medicine going? And your DH? Is he finished with the project?

Robin, where can I see photos of your RT? I'd love to see them and read up on all the fun you guys had. Are things posted in a particular place?

Jen, yay no trip! No trip! Your sister's thought that Sport sometimes senses CJ is nice. She must be watching over you guys!

Okay, sorry for the scattered post and I apologize for missing anyone. Me do believes that tomorrow is Arista's birthday, so she'd better be dropping in!!

Things over here are busy (in a taking care of visiting friends/taking care of four wild squirrels way). Not to mention that I'm living at Mom's and out of a suitcase.

Updates? The squirrels have found their new favorite toy. I came home one day and everybody ran up to me for their belly rubs, and giving each of them their love turn, I noticed that everybody had little balled up pieces of white paper on them...........yeah. Their new favorite toy : Toilet paper. You should have seen the bathroom and the mound of TP. LOL.

Okay, I've got to catch up on a bunch of stuff while I have the chance.

Hugs to you all, and somebody better tell me how to do the special font. http://bestsmileys.com/love2/1.gif

ETA : I've got a hot spot on the internet line today for some reason. BBL!

YEAH!!!!August is back, if only briefly. I hope your guests are enjoying themselves. I had a wonderful time at the RT. It was beyond mere words. I didn't post any pictures, because most of them are the same as ones others have posted. Just look at others RT pictures. You are bound to come across one of me eventually. Emily (materialsgirl) posted several tutorials about Jazzing up your posts. We've been font-crazy around here the last couple days. I like to call it pimping my post.

No workout scheduled for me today. We leave for Vermont as soon as I get home from work and packed up. My sister said they bought a new TV, so I'm taking Step Blast to do tomorrow.

Gotta get to work, but I'll be around until 3, and probably checking in way too often.

Robin!!

AUGUST!!!

Yes, like Shelley said, you need to use the square brackets. These < >, are strictly used for tutorial purposes ;) .

Did you notice the donut and kitty crawlers? I was so proud of them and no one said a word about them:p

I have to get DH off to work. We slept in late but I have to make the coffee and a little breakfast for DH . I'll BBL to play:*

Hi Shelley and Robin:)

Hello Haters,
Thank GOD, it's Friday for lots of reasons. First of all, work. It's a four letter word. Second, great news, my Dad is cancer free for 100 days post stem cell transplant, as seen in OD, and I won't be flying to Mayo this weekend too. Third, still working on the roof, the yard, and the Lillies have made it with me for a month.

August-please fill us in on some good cat stories. My Madrid, for a love gift, has been bringing me up a sheet that is covering a friend's furniture, which is stored my basement. He is so proud of himself when he does it.

Robin-Stories from the RT???

Shelley-what are your plans this weekend?

Dana, Michele, and Jen-Hope you all have a great weekend.

[ Shelley!!/b ]

Did it work did it work did it work?

JENNIFER - What fantastic news about your father!! I'm so happy to hear that news.

Madrid carries up a [ sheet/b ]?! That is one strong kitty! I'd be pretty dang proud, too!

MICHELE -

>These < >, are strictly used for tutorial purposes

No wonder I always had trouble in school. Now that Shelley mentioned it, I do kind of remember part of the equation being that you need to use square brackets.

Of course I noticed the donuts and kitty crawlers, they totally cracked me up, and I was going to make fun comments about them in giant, colorful lettering LMAO. How did you do them?

ETA : Weird! When I posted, the things in the square brackets completely disappeared! I put space in between the brackets just so there wasn't a blank spot.....Hmm. I'm going to try again.

ETA : Double weird! I put spaces in between my words and square brackets and the square brackets became these thingies <>! WEIRD!!

August, you are totally cracking me up! Go to one of my posts, click on "reply with quote", and you'll see how to do it. You can do the same thing with the crawlers. Now try that and report back to me -- lol!

Jennifer, we must've posted at the same time this morning. I'm so happy about your dad -- I can only imagine the relief your whole family must feel.

That is hilarious about Madrid dragging the furniture cover to you. Oh boy, I'd love to see a video of that!! :7

Robin - I'm kind of worried about you driving to VT after a full day of work. Is your DH going with you?

LMAO!!!!!!!!

WTF?!?!?!?!!!!

I took your post and replaced your text with my text and POOF, it disappears.

So mean! SO MEAN!!

Ok Augie, I see one of your problems -- you're putting this / in the same bracket with the rest of your code. That symbol should be in a separate bracket after your text -- it closes the instructions.

Do like this...but with square brackets;)

SQUIRRELS

and you'll get this...

SQUIRRELS

If you want to make it bold, do this

SQUIRRELS

Wella!

SQUIRRELS
