In doing a search in the web for medicine ball workouts, I found Mindy's website. Collage Videos has one of her VHS/DVD's and looking at the video clip it looks interesting. I was wondering if anyone has tried her and what he or she thinks about it.

Thank you,

Yadira

I have a couple of her videos. I don't do them much, because I do mostly Cathe. They are fun and I always end up sore from them. She has a goofy style and she makes me laugh. I would recommend them.

I have her Awesome Strength workout. I really like it a lot. Wish I had the BOSU though. It is really intense and shows options without the BOSU. It uses the stability ball & medicine ball really well. I do the dead bug without the BOSU, I use my step bench .I saw this done before by someone else. I think it was Keli Roberts. Great workout.

I have Slammin' Sports Cardio. GREAT workout!! I also have Jump & Jab II. I had another step tape -- ummm....not sure of the name of it right now. It was too easy, and kind of boring. So, I got rid of it. I would like to try some of her newer vids, though.

Mindy is right up there with Cathe as far as athletic and intensity goes! Her videos are tough! Very sports like! She has "endless" energy and she is nutty ( crazy stuff comes out of her mouth:p )Personally, I "love" her style, and her workouts kick BUTT! Her chattiness does not bother me at all , I have "most" of her videos so I always expect Mindy to be Mindy, she is very unique and always puts out new INTERESTING moves! Her med ball video is unbelievably hard, it is like a one on one personal training session with her, she just never stops}( So if you have a med ball and want to use it the WHOLE workout this is tuff stuff, (not soo good on the production though on this one and her earlier ones), but her production is way better now! Here's a link to her website www.jumpincfitness.com , she has a $10 sale there too scroll down! Are you looking for a particular workout? You can also check out www.videofitness.com and under instructor index get some feedback on her videos! Let us know how you make out!( and "Welcome to MINDY'S World}(

Like Francine, I have many Mindy tapes and really enjoy them. Her medicine ball tape is a killer. It's one of those that when you preview it you think it's not that hard...but she works you good! As Francine said, the production of that video is not that great, but it is a great workout and I would highly recommend it! (Since Cathe introduced the medicine ball to her tapes, it has become my favorite workout toy along with my BOSU!)

Thanks to everyone that replied, I think I'll give her a try. I'm glad other people new of her I didn't want to spend money on something and not like it.

I tried her and did not like her very much. I really wanted to like her. I was honestly very disappointed that I didn't like her because I bought 4 of her tapes. I had heard so many great things about her. As soon as I started her workouts, I just thought that her cuing was terrible, especially in the slammin sports cardio. The Strength Express workout was ok, but I could really feel those one legged squats in my knees. Her Interval Express was pretty good but I traded it for a Cathe tape(bodymax) instead, which I like much better. I guess she is just not my style, I like Cathe better. I think the bad cuing just really turned me off. BUT, You should try her because you might like her, I just wanted to let you know that you MIGHT be disappointed... Good luck.

I have mixed feelings on Mindy. I like her alot, I find her funny, and very personable. I really like her extreme strength workout (the one before her most recent one). It is really good functional fitness, not gym-style at all, which is a nice change.

I find, though, that her cueing is so bad in her cardio workouts, the frustration level is too high for me. I know I could learn them with a little patience, cause the choreo isn't all that complex, but when you can pop in a Cathe and do it almost first time through cause the cueing is so good, it's hard to have to "learn" other routines.

It's too bad because I know her interval workouts kick...you know...but I find I never pull them out.

I must say that I don't like Mindy's style at all. Like you, I asked for recommendations and bought some of them on that. However, her cuing is really bad and the production is terrible and definitely unlike Cathe's. Sorry. I must be honest with you. Try one of her tapes and see how you like it.

Blessings from our home to yours...Runathon

I bought Awesome Intervals, Interval Express, and Strength Express. I just don't seem to be able to get into them. I have had them for three months and did Awesome Intervals once and started to do it again but found the opening warmup just unbelievably frustrating and pulled it out and did a Cathe tape. She adds on too quickly, doesn't give you enough time to do what she is doing. Interval Express I have done once and plan to do again this Friday. As I remember it, it was not as frustrating to learn, although there are a lot of extremely fast foot moves that I don't think I will ever master. I still have not done Strength Express. I would like to keep the tapes, though, until I get 5 or 6 tries out of them. Otherwise I will feel guilty for buying them.

I have Mindy's awesome intervals and I LOVE it. It goes by very quickly and I think she is a riot! I don't find her workout as intense as Cathe's but it is great for variation. I say try her! :7

I love Cathe, and Mindy is about the closest that one can get for intensity and a jolly good workout. I just wish her videos were shorter in length as I just don't like those hour long workouts anymore. I have never had a problem with her cueing.
