Has anyone tried Margarita Activewear?

SanDiegoFit.com has a 10% discount offer going, and I was going to treat myself to a new workout outfit. I've never worn Margarita, but several items in this line have caught my eye. I'm very small, and I'm a little worried about the sizing, especially the tops. For those of you who have tried this line, how do the tops and bottoms fit? Thanks!
 
I've seen the Margarita clothing line one of the times I was there in the sandiegofit warehouse. Like other Brazillian clothing lines, it runs a tad small.

I would give them a call. They always are good about helping out their customers in finding the right size.
 
I have some and yeah, Lorayne's right they run fairly small and fit just like the other brazillian brands. Pezzi runs a bit bigger than margarita wear. Protokolo is really cute too!
 
Good idea Kathryn. Of course one would have to be pretty blasted to put these flashy knickers on in the first place. ;)
 
They definitely run small. I find the quality a bit lacking too... much less than say a brand like KOS USA.

I agree they are cute though. I've ordered Margarita from SanDiegoFit several times, but always end up sending them back.

The sizing sounds good -- but the quality issue, oh no! If I'm going to pay $70 for capris (which is the style I'm drawn to), I want decent quality. Hmmm, probably a deal breaker.
 
WRITER, I have to highly recommend Athleta duds. They aren't quite as snazzy but the material and fit are awesome. I usually wait for the sale items and grab something.
 
The quality of margaritas and other brazillian brands are just as good if not better than kos. I don't know how you could say the quality is less, I personally think it is better than kos. I guess you would just have to try it for yourself.

I don't think the fabrics are near the quality of KOS, but that's just my opinion. We all have different qualities we look for in workout clothing. My KOS things have washed and held up much better than the Margarita brand.

I absolutely love Margarita Activewear! As a fitness instructor and stay at home mom, I live in fitness clothes all day long. I tried a pair of Margarita Capri Pants and I started wearing their clothing all of the time. Out of every activewear brand that I've tried this is my absolute favorite because its the best quality, never shrinks or fades and I get the most compliments because of all of the unique styles and designs.

If you like Margarita Activewear check out a site called ThinkDaisy.com They only carry Margarita clothing products and have a great return policy if you aren't happy with your purchase. They also have very competitive pricing compared to some of the others like SanDiegoFit.com and ActivewearUSA.com
 
Those are some wild designs! I wear Patagonia. It is kind of expensive, but I always look at the web specials section on their website and find things. It lasts forever and I believe that most of their clothes are made out of recycled materials.
 
I'm not a fan. Their clothes are cute, but not very comfortable. The fabric is kind of stiff & as someone else mentioned, the line runs small (camel toe anyone? :eek:).

If your shopping at sandiegofit.com, KOS USA & One Step Ahead supplex is the way to go. MUCH more comfy, less expensive & just as cute. :)
