Has anyone been to Couples Jamaica?

Trying to find a place to go to in Jamaica for Feb?
I've been there once, stayed at Grand Lido Braco. LOVED IT!
Now, DH and I are looking into the Couples resorts. It looked nice online. Wondering if anyone else has been there or another place in Jamaica they liked?

Yeah mon, Jamaica is great for vacationing. I have been to Couples in Negril and it was great. It is super for just getting away and not having any kids with you. The food and tour services are great and it's a warm and friendly staff.

If you have a wild side, you and your hubby could also try Hedonism II in Negril or Hedonism III in Runaway Bay. They are pretty good as well.

Hi there,

I've been to Jamaica at least 6 times, the last of which was probably 6 years ago. I would highly recommend Negril over the other cities in Jamaica. Negril has a wonderful beach 8-9 miles long. The all-inclusives in Negril are beautiful. I've been to HedonismII and it was very cool. However I have stayed at Negril Gardens at least 4 times and it is exceptional as well if you are looking for something that is not all-inclusive. Like a lot of Caribbean places, you will have people trying to peddle stuff to you all the time. However, the all inclusive places make an extra effort to keep the peddlers away. Watch out for Hedonism...and many others, they have nude and topless areas, so sometimes it's not appropriate for children.
Jamaica Mon...copasetic...have a red stripe and some jerk chicken, and don't forget to bring back some coffee and rum!

Hi:

I was at the Couples resort in Jamaica for my honeymoon back in 1991!

Wayyy back then, it was a really nice place, can't tell you how it is now.

My husband and I have done a couple of other all inclusive vacations but that one was the best. EVERYTHING was included, which is not like some of the others ones I've done.

I agree, Negril side looks beautiful.
Its hard to beat Jamaica's prices for a 4 - 5 star resort and all inclusive. Looking forward to a little relax time.....

Hi there! Last April I went to Couples Swept Away, which is in Negril. I cannot say enough good things about it. We are in love with the place and saving up our pennies to go back. It is absolutely beautiful. There are lots of tasty restaurants, tons of activities if you want to do them.

I would HIGHLY recommend Couples Swept Away to you. The room we stayed in was in the older section called an "Atrium" room and it was great. It was open air with the wooden shutters on all the walls. You can close the shutters if you like and turn on the A/C - which we only did at night. We had a huge verandah with a hammock on it and sofas.


I want to go back sooo bad!!!

Couples Swept Away is actually the one we were looking at! I'm so glad to hear you really liked it. I read alot of the reviews from Expedia, but, you never know who is writing those things.

Can't wait! That's the spot we are leaning towards.
