Hardcore Rotation Checkin!!!!!

I didn't see the checkin for today and I know some of us started this morning!

today's workout: I'm doing the Fat Loss Rotation and IMAX3 on tap. Great workout! I did better today cuz yesterday, I did the hi/low portion on HC extreme. Love that workout too.

I weighed in this morning and am taking measurements too. Hope to clean up my eating and see results in time for EASTER!!

Hi everyone!

I wasn't officially going to start until tomorrow, then I realized I had HC work scheduled for today!

Today's forecast calls for GS Legs followed by Kick Max (Leg Conditioning Drills only), then 3 sets of 15 (per side) hamstring moves on the Total Gym. After I pick myself up off the floor, I'm going to do Stretch Max #3 and take a much needed shower!

My eating is about 95% clean, now if only I can get rid of the coffee mate, it would be more like 98% clean!

My weigh in day is Monday, so I'll post that tomorrow and maybe take some measurements.

Hi All

I'm starting on Monday (tomorrow) but would love to join in with you guys - doing the Fat Loss Rotation.

Unfortunately, CK Sales missed Imax3 off my HC order so that should be here within the week - going to sub with Imax2 tomorrow.

Did Low Max (for the first time yesterday) - boy, did my legs feel it and did a 5k run today.

My Eating's 98% clean at the moment so I'm going to be well on the way to making this rotation work!

I am starting Monday also. I did Mindy's Bosu and gliding today. Great workout! I do love variety, so to keep myself interested I might be doing different w/o but in the same line.

Hi everyone,
I'm starting next week, but I'll be doing various Cathe DVD's until I start the Hardcore. As I stated in another post, I am sampling my DVD collection from Cathe and will start the rotation next week. Today, I did 60 minutes of Cardio & Weights and then 20 minutes of leg work from Legs & Glutes. I am a pretty clean eater, except I have a wicked sweet tooth and can't get myself to stop eating a small amount of candy daily. I'll have to really try (I guess -- can you be happy without any sugar?)

I am like you I like variety, but I really am going to stick with this rotation. We can help each other out with this :D

Also what do you think of subbing riding bike for running? Should I add on more min. to my bike or should I make myself go to the Y and run?

Looking forward to starting this and finishing this!! I hear you get wonderful results sticking with a rotation!!

I want to join in with the fat loss rotation, I will start tomorrow.

I have done all of the HC workouts, yesterday was HSC. I will take it easy today, I will do 1 abs hardcore, and one strecth workout today.

I am very inspired by all of you ladies.

Nicole-- AAARRRRGGGHHHH (straining noise). That was me sending some energy your way! As for your question regarding running versus biking...I can't run much at all due to knee problems but I ride my bike instead. As long as you're getting your heart rate within the target range, you're good to go!

I am happy you started this post today:D I am not a clean eater, but I am going to start this week increasing my water intake, and then maybe I can aim at my eating:D

Oh and this afternoon I am going to take measurements and pictures.
Just to see the progress I make in the next 12 weeks.:7

I started the strength rotation today. I did GS BS&B and a 6 mile run. I am going to follow the strength rotation with the endurance then the fat loss..

My workout felt great today!!!

Hi Everyone! I started today with Fat Loss so did Imax 3. This is the third time now I've done this workout and I love it more each time!

I'm going to do Fat Loss, then Strength, then Endurance! I've never stuck to a 12-weeker all the way through, but I'm going to give this one my best shot!

glad we got people doing the checkin. I personally need to be held accountable or else I stray.

I think it's GREAT that we are all doing some type of HC rotation, whether it strength, endurance or fat loss. We will learn from each other and see what's working and what's not.

About the clean eating...question: is there a specific diet that you are following or just doing your own thing? Thanks in advance.

I can't remember who posted that they are doing the strength rotation and did BSH gym style AND A 6 MILE RUN!!!!!! OMG..you are my hero!!!!

I don't follow a diet, per se, I am a vegetarian, but I eat cheese and dairy. I eat only whole grain bread and pasta and I eat a lot of yogurt and fruit and salad's, as well as black beans and low fat swiss cheese. I never eat fried foods (something I started due to gastrointestinal problems - and now I can't digest grease). I don't eat anything soaked in butter or margarine. I don't eat cream dressings...I only eat low fat salad dressing with the minimal amount needed. For my chocolate fix, I eat Dairy Queen's sugar free fudge bars (50 calories) and really good. My problem is that I have a wicked sweet tooth and have to have a small amount of candy daily and a real chocolate fix every month. Other than that, this way of eating has become a lifestyle for me. Now that I'm 45, I notice, I have to cut my portion sizes down a bit and I eat my sandwiches with only half of the roll to watch carbs a bit. I also buy baked tortilla chips to go with my cheese sandwiches and eat salsa on them. I don't cook, so my diet is pretty boring, but I try to eat healthy. At work, I eat salads for lunch daily with a small amount of cheese and I recently started throwing some almonds on top for my heart, etc. I need to clean up my sugar habit, but is it possible to be happy without sugar?

I'm doing the strength rotation with a few variations. Today I did kickmax and those leg drills are killers after that blast. I love the blast even though it's intense. I really need to work those fast twitch muscles. Tomorrow will be GS chest and tris- dread factor with all of those PUSHUPS!!!!!! As for clean eating I just had pasta and a glass of white wine x( Oh well another day LOL

I'd like to check in as well.

I'm in the middle of a strength hardcore rotation, but not exactly the way Cathe posted hers. I always tweak them a bit:p .

Today, like lunacat, I was supposed to do GS Legs+KM leg conditioning drills (no extra hamstring stuff), but I only got through GS Legs--sick and needy children in this house!

My goal is to lose approximately one more size. I've lost over 40 lbs in the last 15 months and am almost to my goal size.

I love to cook and to eat, so I follow a "French" style eating plan (basically eat what I want, but savor it and watch portion sizes--calories in/calories out).

I could not be happy without sugar, especially chocolate, which reminds me I have not had any today...

but I'm going to have an orange instead for now.

I hope we can help each other meet our goals.

Hi all- great to see so many people determined to complete the rotations. I'm going to start the fat loss rotation tomorrow- my only problem is time. I don't workout until the kids are in bed-usually around 7:30 and then the thought of working out for more than an hour is too overwhelming. So, I may have to modify some of the days or try to break them up somehow.

I am really loving this series- haven't tried hsc yet, I think I'm just too intimidated but will attempt it soon!

I am going to work on the Building Strength rotation. I started today since I didn't out yesterday because of my Grandfather In Law's visitation and funeral. I felt like I needed to do something, so I went ahead and got started.

Did GS Chest/Tri but only the premix and a Coremax segment.

Good Morning Everyone! This is my check in. I was going to start hardocore next week, as I'm new to Cathe and still sampling my DVD's, but I changed my mind and started the rotation this morning (indecisive Libra here). I did Imax 3 this morning and did some of the higher impact on the rebounder (as I did too much high impact last week and my knees, back and feet are feeling it). It's only 5:30 am here, so all I've had to eat so far is yogurt and I'll have a bowl of shredded wheats in a bit here and for lunch it will be a large salad with a bit of cheese and almonds with fruit as snacks.

By the way, I've decided to do 2 weeks of muscle endurance and 2 weeks of fat loss for my rotation. I'm tweaking it a bit because I like my rest or "easy" days to be on Saturdays. Tomorrow's workout will be Musclemax for me.

Good Day to all the March rotation check-in people! I am starting Fat loss today for 4-5 weeks. then I'll have 1 week off for a sunny vacation w/ DH. I'm off to do IMAX3 afer kids get off to school. c ya tomorrow!
