Morning Ladies -

I have to work the early shift and only had time to do BB Timesaver Leg Workout with abs. I feel guilty, but a bit intimidated by Legs & Glutes anyway, so maybe it's best that I eased into it this way.

I'd really like to do the mix that Diane Sue did on Monday. Maybe next leg day.

Hi everyone, or should I say where is everyone today? I hope everyone is okay. I know Diana Sue is probably under the weather.....but everyone else?

I have a question (maybe I'll have to post this on a separate thread though). I'm doing the May rotation and since I want to lose a few of these vacation pounds, I was planning on doing a light workout on my rest days ....so it would be more of an active recovery day. Do you ladies think this would be okay? I just want to make sure it won't be overtraining. I plan on doing something easy like my FitPrime DVDs which seem ridiculously easy after doing Cathe for 3 months. On the other hand, if I went a step further and did a slightly harder workout (most likely full body circuit type), would this still be okay, as long as I don't feel overtrained?

I'm skipping IMAX3 today. I had a HORRIBLE day...won't drag y'all down with the details but suffice to say my day ended with another visit to the dentist (at least I got to recline!) where I got a mouthful of novacaine (again! 5th time since the absessed tooth ordeal began back in FEBRUARY!!). The upshot is, that today I got my permanent, porcelain crown. Lottie da! And this, (trust me) was the BEST part of my day. So I'm going to kick back with my DD, have an attitude adjustment and resume training tomorrow.

Go ahead with your active recovery on the scheduled rest days. As long as you stick with your plan to keep the routines low impact, low intensity you won't overtrain. The benefits you'll gain outweigh the risk of overtraining based on what you've revealed about your personality. I believe you'd feel worse if you didn't do some kind of a workout. Just don't go overboard and feel real good about YOU!

thanks for your input.

I'm so sorry to hear about your day. Life sucks sometimes. I was lucky and got out of my gruelling 2 hour dental appt on Monday cuz my dentist had the flu. I've got that to look forward to on May 18th. I'm getting a 4 tooth bridge.....ugh. I guess it's better than the huge hole that's been healing in my mouth for the last couple of months.

Take it easy and treat yourself right!! I hope you are well enough to workout in the AM.
 
Hey quit scaring me with all your dental visits:eek: I tell ya I would rather birth a baby than go to the dentist!! I am really feeling for you guys hope it gets better!!! Hey go have a brownie ....LOL

I plan on doing GS legs tonight and maybe.........coremax and a stretch???

You're A NUT! Go have brownie yourself! I had some pastina for supper and some LF Cheez Its for dessert! Nothing like a simple carb binge to hasten recovery from a poopy day! And one more thing! If I had brownies you can be darned sure I woulda eaten them, too!

Now go do an extra 15 "high end" lunges for me would 'cha?!?! Send me some cyber "fire in the thighs" so I have killer DOMS tomorrow, 'kay?!

Sorry to hear about your BAD day;( , but ya know a pan of brownies might make you feel a little better ha ha he he:7 I am really craving those darn things:7 Cheez its just don't sound as GOOD. LOL

I just did GS legs standing section and I am telling you those slow motion lunges are killer!! I wish I had seen your post earlier because ya know I would FOR SURE and do those 15 "high end" lunges just for you!!:7 Thanks for the cyber "fire in the thigh" I think I am starting to have them now??? }(

Glad you could find a little laughter at the end of your bad day!!
