Morning Everyone -

This morning I only had time to do a premix off of Step, Jump and Pump, as I have to be at work even earlier than Monday for another Doctor Appointment after work. I must say.......the choreography in that step DVD is much fun. I really enjoyed it. I never thought I'd say that about a Cathe step DVD since I never really did so much complex choreography until I discovered Cathe.

Happy Hump-day Everyone!

This morning I did Power-Hour. I was supposed to do BodyMax, but it is a 90 minute workout and I didn't have time for that. I will do BodyMax on Friday since I don't have to work that day. I will also try to get in a run today during lunch.

Lora...I've never done SJP, but I do have it (Just got it the other day). Sounds fun!

Sabrina...I would love to teach you some step! Step Blast surprised me because I can usually catch on pretty quickly...just give me another time or two and I'll have it!

Nicole...It was a blast though!

Morning Ladies,

Lora-I hope everything is ok since I have noticed you have been going to the Dr. a lot.

Marietta-I need all the help I can get to learn the steps!!:D I need to figure out where the top ten are in the DVD's for the trip and hopefully learn those. Might be tough. I have no idea which ones to look at for them.

Today I am going to do Kick Max for the first time. I love KPC so I hope I will love this one too. Should be fun.

Thanks for everyone's concern re: all of my doc appts. I'm still in the middle of this major dental work (and will be for a while) and then I need to have my TMJ splint remade and refitted by the dentist.

I went for my yearly appt with my Family doctor last week for my cholesterol check (which is high - I take after my Mom)....vegetarian here who never eats fried foods...go figure!

Today, I just have to go to the doctor for my herniated disc...routine visit.

I hate doctors and I work in a hospital!!

Well I did follow this month’s rotation up until yesterday.

Today I did GS Legs. I wish I had read my notes from the last time I did this w/o, because it said to increase my weight.

Lora, a splint for TMJ sounds painful and uncomfortable. I hope it's not. Have you looked into the herb Guggul for lowering your cholesterol? I know it is very helpful. Check out www.naturesformulary.com for more information and studies on it.
I too, like SJP ~ especially the hi/lo alternated with weights.

Marietta, I plan on doing Power Hour tomorrow. Friday, I have an early doctor appointment and from there, we're off for the weekend. So a total body workout sounds goo to me.

Sabrina, What did you think of Kickmax? I love the bootcamp premix. BTW, I have trouble with some chorography too. I've yet to get Lowmax all the way through.

Diane Sue, I used to have the Bowflex. I really liked it, but my husband was a bodybuilder for many years and was too "old school" to not use real iron to lift. Also, what is Cardio Coach? Music with someone talking?

Susan C.M.-I did ok with Kickmax considering I didn't watch it before I tried it. I was about soaked when I was done though. I still think KPC is my favorite though, as well as Bootcamp. I have not tried lowmax yet. I need to get weights in tomorrow so maybe I will do lowmax on Friday. I am not good with step though so it should be interesting. :)
 
Sabrina - Don't get discouraged with LoMax's choreography. I'm still getting it down. It has a lot of backwards mambos on the step and stuff to confuzzle you.....at least it's stuff I've never seen before, but I only found Cathe in February! I'm starting to really like parts of LowMax now......especially when I get a particularly hard combo down. I've got the backward mambos and she does one other backward step that took me a while, but after you know it....it's fun.

Todays workout I used the Bowflex and free weights doing shoulders, calves and abs. For cardio I did I Max2 Blast mania, and the Stretch Max #3

Lora, I know how it is having lots of appointments. I always try and get in my physical, mammagram and dentist during the summer before school starts and it is harder to arrange an appointment with taking grandchildren to school and stuff.

Nicole I am doing good. It is so awesome to be able to get out of bed and actually see without glasses. Tomorrow is one week and I finally get to go back to wearing eye makeup. The first 4 nights were miserable because I had to sleep in goggles. I woke up one night and the spongey things had come loose and I had one stuck on my nose and one on my cheek. I must have really been a sight:)

Diane Sue - I'm glad you're recovering from your laser surgery. I wish my vision could be corrected with it, but they are unable to correct mine, as focusing is a big part of my problem. I'm so sensitive to contacts and can only wear them part of the day. I've worn glasses since I was 4 and they actually wanted to operate on me when I was little for my eyesight, but my Mom wouldn't let them, as it was too new. I've since found out that even if I would have had the surgery long ago, I would have still had to wear glasses my entire life. I am so happy for you. Maybe, some day they'll come out with a surgery for my vision - but I'll probably have cataracts by then ....LOL!
