Hardcore Rotation Checkin Tuesday June 7

Morning Everyone,

This morning I did Gym Style Legs and Coremax 1.

Have great workouts everyone.

P.S. No I'm not going to the doc's for my foot. I have to go for my annual cholesterol check. I have high cholesterol and I'm supposed to be on medication, but I won't take it cuz it messes with my GI system. I'm a vegetarian and eat no fried foods...yet my cholesterol is 280. My Mom's is high also. I take after her.

I did Gym Style Legs this morning as well. Those calf raises get me every time!! I can barely stand up after all of those. My legs feel good...I will definitely have some DOMS.

Tonight I have a step arobics class and I will get my stretching and core work in at that time.

Cholesterol is something else...the ones that eat right get it and a lot of people that eat wrong have normal levels...what is up with that??!!

Hi everyone! I'm back from vacation. We have a wonderful time. The weather was perfect every day and night. It's the first time since we've been going camping this particular week that it's been so nice.

Anyway, I took the entire week plus off. Leisure walks and that's it....well, I did bring my band and banged out a few rounds of bicep curls and tricep extensions here and there.

This morning was my first day back into it. I did PS BB&A. I haven't looked at Cathe's rotation yet.
Is anyone here following it?

I did go back and read our check in posts. It looks like everyone is doing great on their workouts. The rebounder sounds fun! I'd like to hear more about it. I can feel the onset of planter fasciatis coming back.x(

Welcome Back! I am following the June rotation...I just started Monday so I'm a week behind.

I'll have to get creative over the weekend because we are going out of town. I think I'll take my laptop from work and take some DVDs and at least do some workouts that way. We'll see...I just know I'll have to do something while I'm gone.
 
good morning all!
today's workout: did legwork at the gym followed by a 45mins aerobic class that is model after cathe's bootcamp! I was sweating buckets! I'm hoping to do a powerwalk or a water aerobic class tonight!

Susan: I am following cathe's june rotation. One body part per day and legs 2x a week is just what I need. I do at least 30mins of cardio everyday as well. I'm on the second week. I did it a little different today though.

Lora: sorry about your cholestrol. Have you tried oatmeal? I'm sure you have, but I had to ask. It brought my cholestrol down by 17pts from last year. My total # is 148!! yeah for me!

Hello Everyone,
Today I did Bss3 dvd and PS chest!! Hey this is day 2 of me working out in AM }( Been getting that done and chores in am. so can take the kids to the pool!!

Lora I am so happy to hear you are NOT taking anything for your cholestrol. My dad who is 63 took some chol. medication that did bad things to his liver. Now he's OFF meds. completely until they know what's going on with his liver. Last time he got his liver enzymes checked the numbers started to look a little better, but they are still keeping him off his b/p meds and all. Gloria gave you a good tip there are foods that can reduce your chol. I have also heard good things about Flaxseed??? Anyways I am sending ((HUGS))) your way!!

Susan you are not the only one who took a week off. I took off last week to:D I had company!! Now I am back to it, and even working out in the am!! :7
