Hardcore Rotation Checkin Tuesday June 14

Hi Everyone,

This morning I deviated from the scheduled rotation and instead of Slow & Heavy Legs & Coremax, I did Body Blast Timesaver Legs (which is mostly segments from Legs & Glutes) and abs.

Hi Hardcore Ladies!

I did SH Legs today, even though I was a little sore from PS Legs and LL on Sunday. I wonder how many deadlifts I did that day. It was a lot!!

My strength and energy I'm having lately is astonishing. I increased my bb 10 pounds and kept it even for split squats (which is the toughest leg exercise for me!). I followed with GS Legs, floorwork. I will admit, those little pulses using the band is enough to make me cry, though. Those seem harder than squats.

good morning all!
today's workout: did some crosstraining:
5mins of each: run on the TM, walk on the TM, stepper, ET and bike. Then I did a 30mins aerobic class at the gym. I'm gonna do parts of leaner legs here in a bit.

HI everyone,
This mornings workout was W/up and cardio protions of HSch, cardio done twice from HSTA, abs from HSch, Core Max #1, & 4 sets of 20 reps cable crunches on the bowflex, then GS Legs no w/u
Like I said yesterday I think I need to lower my cardio. I am going to try. I really like the cardio though and usually do 5-6 hrs a week

Today was Leaner legs, abs from KPC, and a flexibility workout of choice. I just did a little yoga stretching. Sharon Mann (wanted a little something different and I had never done any of the video before).

Thanks for asking about my foot. I thought I should quit complaining about it, as it's been hurt a while. It is still very painful. The pain is more concentrated now and I can tell exactly where it's coming from. I think I pulled the 3 tendons going to the last three toes, as the tendons on the top of my metatarsals are very painful. I had to be on my feet for several hours at work today, so right now, it's pretty bad. It's probably gonna take a while to heal.

I think I know how I hurt it now too. It seems like it started hurting the day after I did this -- I did my half hour of weight lifting and rather than doing a cardio warm up and then moving into high intensity cardio, I figured I was warm enough from the weight lifting and just went right into an aerobic "add on" segment. I guess, at my age, you can't do this! Also, I had not taken my scheduled rest day for a few weeks and may have been pushing a bit too hard. I need to lose a few pounds though and I kept pushing.

What can I say -- you live & you learn.
 
You live and you learn-- You've got that right. Went yesterday to the pool with my DH and 3 sons and it was cloudy and didn't put on any suntan lotion (the boys had theirs on). I have a nice sunburn on my shoulders. Ouch! It is sore and it didn't help since I have leaner legs this evening and had to put the barbell up there. Not nice!

I hope your foot starts to feel better real soon. Try to rest it as much as you can.:)
