Hardcore Rotation Checkin Sunday June 5

Hi everyone,

This morning I did High Step Challenge but omitted the back and chest work since tomorrow is my first day of the June rotation. I modified the higher intensity aerobics on my rebounder. My foot is still painful and swollen. I've been soaking it in epsom salt water.

I'm going to have to modify the June rotation a few days during the month, as I have a lot of doctor's appointments this month and dental work, so I'll have to work the early shift quite a few days. I will only be able to fit in 45-50 minute workouts on those days.....other than that, I'm starting the June rotation tomorrow morning.

yesterday's workout: ran 30mins and did gymstyle biceps and triceps.
today's workout: haven't done it yet, it calls for lowmax, but I think I'm gonna go for a run instead.

Lora: hope you take care of that foot. what happened? i missed that post.

I don't know what happened to my foot. I may have stubbed it, but I can't remember. It just started hurting and swelled up. Maybe I stepped on it wrong with aerobics.....I don't know. Getting old is fun!

I was just reviewing the rotation for June (which I start tomorrow. I really only have about 1 hour to workout in the mornings or 1 hour and 15 minutes and I don't know how I'm going to do this rotation. Cathe has a lot of these workouts for 90 minutes. What are all the working peeps going to do. I need suggestions. I already get up at 2:30 am ....so I don't think setting my alarm earlier is an option.....although it is in the back of my mind. We'll see ....I guess. What's everyone else doing? After work is also out for me, as I can't exercise that close to be due to insomnia.
 
Hi Everybody ~

I did GS Biceps and GS Triceps this AM and I did a 15 min walk/run intervals on the treadmill. I wasn't feeling very well (probably from the pizza I ate last night). I don't seem to be able to tolerate it as well since I've been eating clean so much more.

I share your time concerns. I'm thinking I may have to split the routines AM & PM. Do you have time in the afternoon/early evening?

Hey Lora:
Well, I hope you get your foot to feeling better. The reason I was asking was because my ankle "mysterously" starting hurting last night. it's on my left ankle on the inside. weird.

Today's workout: did a 40min running interval pre-set program on my TM. I've got to check out those programs more often!

Lora:I started the june rotation this past week. The workouts do take a little over an hour. I was gonna suggest you break the workout into am. and pm...but see that you can't workout in the afternoon. How about during lunch???? hope you find a balance!

I guess I'm just gonna have to face facts and realize I'm going to have to start getting up earlier. My lunch break is only 1/2 hour and I don't get home until about 5:30 or 6:00 pm......which leaves no time to do a PM workout. I guess I'll just have to sub shorter workouts on days I have doctor's appointments and have to be at work super early. I don't like doing that........but oh well.

How are you all doing??? I had a really nice time with my folks. They left today ;( So I'm back!!

Tonight I may do MM or save it for tomorrow?? I took the kids to the pool today, and it was HOT. Why does spending the day outside make one so tired?

I might TRY and change my workouts to AM this summer??


Lora I ordered my Urban rebounder!! Thanks for your imput!! Now tell me how do you use yours?? I am excited about getting this!!
