Hardcore Rotation Checkin Saturday, March 20

Hi Everyone,
I woke up feeling chilled and sick with a GI thing and I was gonna take a day off of the rotation, but I took an Advil and an hour later felt okay, so I forced myself to workout. I probably shouldn't have, as I've been fighting a flu bug all week. Anyway, I did Hardcore Extreme 3 and had a little difficulty with the intensity. Note to self (and others) ...not a good workout to do the day after you did Kickmax, as there is quite a bit of the Kickmax workout in it and since those muscles were fatigued from yesterday, I had difficulty with the workout. I did #3 cuz it's the only one I haven't done and I'm pigheaded.

Off to eat shredded wheats for breakfast and I had a handful of Cheerios and a small yougurt prior to working out. Not sure what else I'll eat today, other than yogurt, pear and an apple, as well as a handful of almonds.
Have a great weekend all. I'm gonna go eat and soak in the tub.
 
Lora : go take care of those sore muscles.

These ol' muscles are still sore from doing the treadmill run two days ago. I will not go for HCX today but will opt for a 30" intense Cathe cardio followed by stretch max and core max. I have time restraints and need a good stretch!

Yesterday I changed up my workout also:
GS legs- wu , floor work , stretch only
Kick Max- leg conditioning drills , stretch only
Muscle Max- push pull upper premix repeating shoulder, bicep and tricep sections & stretch.

I got in 3 stretch sessions and worked everything except abs. The variety was interesting!

Sorry you're not feeling well, Lorajc.

I'll do the HCX that uses weights then stretch max (at least 2 sections). I have to take the SO to the airport in a couple hours so I can't work out till after that. :-( I hate showering, then working out, then showering again.

Good Morning Ladies , I did Hardcore extreme #2 workout .. Ummm It was good ,hard on my knees a few times . But felt sooo good too . I'm looking forward to having Sunday off . Have great days everyone !! :)

I did the HCE #2 it was tought but I did it. I took a little break and did the glutes section of Legs and Glutes.

To stimulate my inmune system when I feel a little ill, I drink lots of water with 3000 to 4000 mlg of vitamin C ester for about a week it really works.
 
Hi Ladies,

I did a 5 mile run yesterday and 20 minutes on the step mill. This morning was a 9 mile run (long run) and stretch max with the stability ball. Tomorrow is the end of week 3 strength and I have Kick max left to do and a segment of Coremax and stretch max.

Lorajc, I hope you start feeling better.

Judy, how long has it been since you ran (before 2 days ago?). I hope your sore muscles start to feel better soon.

Beverly - How long have you been running? Did you have to start slow? I just got the okay from my doctor that I can start slowly. I have a herniated cervical disc. He said I should start walking and run just for segments and slowly build up. I'm going to start when the weather gets nicer. The only problem I have is that I workout at 2:30 - 3:00 am in the morning and it's sort of a bad time to be running around the neighborhood. I'm going to try to get my hubby to go with me.
 
Hi lorajc,

I have been running for a long time, about 20 years. When I first started running I ran about 8-15 miles a week and now I do about 30-40 depending on how I am feeling and how much other exercising I am getting.

I would definetely start with a walk/run program. I also don't recommend going in the dark unless you have reflectors and husband is with and it is a safe neighborhood..

Hi everyone,
I decided to make today my rest day. I would have had to do a 5 day workout next week because we are going out of town for our 32nd anniversary. I decided to start my week on Sunday since I already hit all body parts twice and lower 3 times if you figure in the KM Lower conditioning. Have a great evening or day where ever you live.
