Hardcore Rotation Checkin Monday May 2

Morning Everyone,

Wow - what a smack in the face this morning was after being off all last week. I've been up since 12:45 am....unable to sleep past that time due to anxiety, etc. I did Step Blast Premix 1 this morning. I gave it my all and did all of the high impact on the floor (not the rebounder) and now I hope I don't have back pain for the next 2 days. My left knee is feeling it also....why oh why does my body hate that high impact so much? I guess I'm just getting older. I've got to work the early shift (6:30 am) so that's all I had time for. I've got this gruelling day ahead of me and then a 2 hour dental appointment. Ugh!!!

I didn't check in over the weekend. Sorry. Saturday I did MM. Sunday was off. I had to work in the yard. There is always so much to do and it's never ending.

This morning I did BC and ME, abs. I haven’t done this one in a while.

I'm going to stick with the rotation I made last week, and where I put a GS w/o with one muscle group as an add on, I'll not do those and will incorporate the exercises Cathe listed for this month.

Is anyone going to follow it?

Hi, I also did not post this weekend.

Saturday - SS premix 2, 75 minutes.
Sunday - Christi's Hi/lo Heaven, Cathe ab hits.
Today - PH.

I am going to be doing Cathe's May rotation from 2004 I think. I am not real keen on the supplemental stuff.

Could you share your rotation following one body part per day. I must have missed it!! I was just reading today on "whats your rotation" and Kim (exercise forever) is going to do 1 body part per day with GS and 4-5 days of cardio.( she is adding mis shoulders though for balance) This really sounds good to me!!! And now I read you have a rotation to!! So I am hoping one of you will Share so I can start LOL!!

Hi Everyone,

I had to work this weekdend, so I didn't have a chance to work out. Last night my 4 year old wanted to go for another walk/run. So I guess I ran about 3/4 of a mile last night.

I did HSC this morning. I want to continue with the Hardcores this month. This week will be a mix of Hardcores and The Body Blast series. I have a late night to work on Wed. So Im going to keep this week on a circuit type workout.

Hi again everyone - just checking in to say that God took care of that Dental Appt for me. It got cancelled due to the Dentist being sick with the flu......I'm happy I don't have to go, but I still have to go for it in a couple weeks.. Such is life.

Conni - Since I don't do well following workouts on a paper, I'm planning on using the CTX DVD and Body Blast Timesaver DVD's to do a One Body Part Per Day Workout. I'm going to double up on the weight work to make it more intense. I have about 60-70 minutes a day to workout and this should work fine for me. I'm going to do legs twice a week. WD helped me with the formatting. I have it all figured out and I'm going to start it tomorrow.

I don't know if I should do a total body workout on my off day during this rotation or not though. What does everyone else think?

Well, I just got done refiguring my May rotation cuz Cathe answered a question in the Ask Cathe section and said that if I want to follow a DVD format and do May's rotation, I should use Slow & Heavy series and do one body part per day following her format with the rest of the cardio & Coremax. She also told me to use Legs & Glutes for my Leg Day and I think I'll add the Power Circuits to this as WD suggested. Now, I have 2 other rotations all figured out for the future and I'll start the Slow & Heavy May Rotation Format tomorrow.

My Dental appointment got cancelled today due to the Dentist being sick with the flu......yay on one hand, but I kinda wanted to have it over with. Work was a nightmare today. I hope I can sleep tonight. I've been up since 12:45 am and I'm still bouncing off of the walls. I can't wait to start my new rotation in the AM. I think I'm going to try using cardio from a couple different DVDs each workout for variety (if ADD girl can handle this). I'm going to do 2 interval cardio's per week, 1 kickbox, 1 20 minute intense cardio & 1 40-45 minute moderate workout per week.

Also, what are some other intense Ab segments to use on other DVD's if I want to sub that for one of the Coremax on a certain day?

Today I did MM, GS Chest, MM Core & Stretch. I feel like this was a very thorough workout.

Lora ~ I'm glad you got a reprieve on the dental appointment. It sounds like you have enough going on physically and emotionally. I hope your feeling better soon.

Hi everyone,
Todays workout was MM lower premix stopping before the stretch, ME leg press premix, then calves and floor legs from PS and stretch. I had intended on some kickboxing but think I am coming down with a cold and only got 3 hrs of sleep. I took a bunch of vitamin C and hope to rest better tonight so I can get a better workout in.
