Morning Everyone,
This morning was CTX Chest & Back followed by CTX aerobics. I did Step & Intervals.

Hello Everyone!

I haven't checked in the last few days...I was off work and just didn't get to a PC.

Friday...I did KCP (cardio only) and SH Triceps and Biceps
Saturday...I did IMAX2 and I taught a Step and Strength class
Sunday...Rest Day

This morning I began week 3 of the June rotation. I don't have the CTX series soI ran 3.25 miles on my treadmill and did GS Chest. Later today, I'll either run again or I'll do the EFX or something and do a back workout.

Does anyone have a breakdown of the CTX Upper Body Back workout? If I know what to do I can do it that way without the video.

I found my scratch paper that I had written these on. I think it is what you are looking for.

DB Row-3 sets of 8
Pullovers-3 sets of 8
DB Deadlifts-3 sets of 8
Supermans-1 set of 16, 1 set of 8

I think the counts are right. I was trying to write them down as I went. Have a great day!:)

Today I have MIS snf s 30 minute steady run. I hope to be able to get this all in later today. See how the kids are, I might have to wait until my DH gets home.:)

Hi everyone,

I didn't do anything yesterday w/o wise. I totally organized my sons bedroom My gosh he had a lot of toys! The only saving grace that made my day, was finding some Easter candy!:9 I know, I know...yesterday was NOT a good eating day for me. I started with French Toast in the morning and went downhill from there.

Today I did CTX Chest and Back. I'm very unfamiliar with this series. I selected Upper Body Split.

For back I did, three sets of bb rows over hand, three sets under hand. I believe 16 reps.
Db rows, one set, pyramid down, 20, 15, 10 pounds.
Quarter dead lifts

Did I do the wrong one?

I followed with CTX kickbox.

Susan...don't feel about eating...my whole weekend was BAD!! I'll keep it clean this week...I have to!!

Also, what are quarter deadlifts...just curious?

No Susan.....that's exactly what I did. I thought I was right, but now I'm second guessing. I'm also not familiar with the series. I thought the workout was a bit easy. I used the weights they did and I don't think I lifted heavy enough. Usually I lift what they do or just about what they do and it's plenty.
 
Hi Marietta,
Quarter Deadlifts work your lower back. You hold your weight in front and bend at the waist. The weight goes only to your knees.

A Still Legged deadlift works your hamstrings and glutes. That's when the weight is lowered to your feet or lower (if you can).

Same here Lora. It was my first time doing a weight segment in CTX. I thought Upper Body Split was taken from all the other w/o's and put onto one workout. hmmm. It did seem kind of easy. Well, maybe the staggered pushups at the end were tough.

Thanks guys...I'll just do a mixture of what you guys indicated. I might add some pull ups or something to make it a little more intense.

I'm upset -- I just got home from the doctors and I weighed 6 pounds more than I did last year. I know I've gained about 3-4 pounds recently, as I've been eating slightly more cuz I'm so hungry. I eat extra fruit and yogurt and I replaced my pretzel snack with almonds cuz I read in a fitness magazine that it's better to replace the carbs with protein. I'm so depressed. I think I will have to do a Fatloss Rotation next month.
 
Pants have been slightly tighter. I know it's fat and not muscle. I think I need to do some more circuit type of workouts or change something up. I've been doing Cathe's rotations since February. The only other thing I've done differently is that I'm so hungry when I get up that I eat something small before my workout and I drink a protein drink afterwards. Six pounds is a lot on my very small boned frame. I wear children's glasses for goodness sakes, so I feel like a blimp when I gain 3-4 pounds , let alone 6 pounds.
 
Hi everyone,
Today I woke up at 4 am so I got an early start. I did I Max Extreme, and the Pyramid upper body workout. I got in more than I thought I would knowing I was going to be out running around all and had to be out by 8.
