Hardcore Rotation Checkin Friday May 27

Yay....it's Friday! and we have a long weekend. I'm lovin' it.

Today was Slow & Heavy Biceps and abs and 40 minutes of Kickmax, including the Blast Challenge. I haven't taken a day off for the 4 weeks I've been back from vacation, so I guess I should take my scheduled rest day tomorrow. I have to go to a birthday party tomorrow and I'm torn about whether I should eat a piece of cake or not. I'm trying to be good, but I love sweets. What's a girl to do? I finally lost those couple pounds from vacation, but I still wanted to try to get just a bit lower.

By the way, in regards to my dental appointment last night -- I was not happy. I'm having some other problems from having the bridge put it and I need to have more stuff done after I get the permanent bridge. I'll be living at the dentist for a while -- this always makes for stressful workouts, as I have to get up extra early to workout so I can be at work early.....as my boss won't let me not make up the time. Isn't work fun? NOT

I did GS chest/tri and IMAX3 step only(grounded alot of the impact).

I hope everyone has a great 3 day weekend. Ours is filled with getting our rental ready for a new tennant and Memorial day parade.
My Ten year old marches in the parade every year. I hope it doesn't rain.

Todays workout was Bootcamp w/up cardio, HSCh cardio only two times,& HSTA cardio, then May rotation Biceps and abs from BC, HSC, & CM#3 HSCh stretch

Lora, I have been to so many b-day parties lately. I pick my sweets and plan for them in my macros so I just make sure any other sugars are not there and the carbs are accounted for. I chose the little serving size cup of ice cream at the last one instead of cake. Yesterday my grandaughter bought in a carrot cake for her actual b-day so I had a sliver and scraped off the icing. We have another b-day Sunday at the zoo, and memorial day will be here. My son is making pineapple upside down cake. Now I know I can't leave that alone. I have been staying clean otherwise, here lately. To eat or not to eat hmmm:)

WD: What is a macro? sorry if I sound stupid.

My Mom tries to give me a hard time sometimes,cuz I go over there for dinner a couple times a week and she always makes a dessert. I NEVER eat them (maybe a couple times a year) and always wait until I get home to eat my DQ sugar free Fudge Bar. She gets so mad. Now my hubby is mad also, cuz I gave my Mom a recipe for low-fat carrot cake out of Women's M&F magazine last issue - she made it for us and I didn't want a piece ..........240 calories......I couldn't see wasting it on something I really don't NEED. I gave it to her more for my hubby's sake cuz he's always complaining about eating desserts at her house. He can't resist and if he doesn't eat them, she doesn't let up on him. I'm glad she's basically accepted that I won't eat them.
 
Lora, definitely not a stupid question. It is short for Macro nutrients. I keep track of Protein, Carbs, and fats as well as sugars in the food I eat, sodium and fiber.
