Hardcore Rotation Checkin Friday April 8

Hi everyone,

I did LowMax this morning and the stretch at the end x 2. My legs were so fatigued during this workout. I'm feeling a little beat today. Tomorrow's my rest day.......good thing. I'm also a little nauseous this morning and I don't know why. I ate that chocolate yesterday and felt really guilty, still do. I tend to beat myself up over stuff like that.

I'm eating breakfast right now...yogurt and the usual. Lunch will be veggie soft tacos with spanish rice with fruit and peanuts for snacks.

Good morning,

Today was supposed to be a 30 minute run, etc, but I live in Ohio so that was not a toasty option this morning, so I did the cardio from Dancworks, Ab Hits, and Stretchmax 3.

PS One note..., one my associates here at work is in mourning, her 17 year old stepson committed suicide yesterday. Please keep her, as we all are here, in your prayers. Thanks.

I'm always teaching my kids to share, but I wish they didn't share their colds with me. So, a rest day is for me today.

Conni, so sad about your friend's stepson. I will keep your friend and her family in my prayers. Take Care.

Good Morning Ladies , Well I set my alarm for 5 am ,so I could do Kick Max First thing ,Well I turned off the alarm and went back to sleep . x( x( x( x( x( Darn So now I will do it at nap time . Anyhow I will check in after I do it . Have great days everyone :) :)
 
Conni-I can't imagine the sorrow of your coworker over her stepson. How very sad. I'll pray for the family.

Today I did Low Max 4-7 premix and GS Back and Biceps superset premix. I liked it, but there was not much time to prepare between sets, so I had to chapter back because it took me a couple of seconds to set up.

I intend to do Core max 1 later.

I still have my headache so am really trying to push through my workouts. It is improving (I think).
Thursday was Low Max, Timesaver premix GS Back & Biceps, & Core Max #1
Friday: I Max2, C&W step only, GS calves, Pyramid Calves, GS floor work, Pyramid floor work and GSlegs stretch. I have a dvd player in my television and a 5 disc changer hooked up as well so it makes it easy to pause and do another tape.
I am off camping this weekend. Maybe the relaxation will help. Maybe I will take stretch max with me and do that.

Lora, don't feel guilty over the candy. You definitely deserved it and a few pieces of chocolate won't hurt once in awhile.

Conni my thoughts are with your associate and the rest of you. I am sure she is devastated.

Maggie I did the GS timesaver B&B yesterday for the first time and made notes so next time I can have my equipment set out so I can get hold of it quickly. It really does just jump right into the next group of exercises.

Hi Everybody!

Today was GS legs floorwork, Coremax #2 & Strechmax #2 on my instability ball! I haven't used it since I started working out with Cathe last year so I think it lost some air or stretched or something! I don't have PUB & PLB so I couldn't do PLB. I didn't have the "steam" or motivation to do more sets from GS so I moved right to the core workout which proved to be quite challenging on my "squishy" ball. ....would help if I could find the doggone air pump! I started searching for it but going from room to room, closet to closet, drawer to drawer only served to remind me that I must do some spring cleaning (yuk!). Maybe I'll just go to Walmart and buy another pump! That'll distract me from the housework, too. Sounds like a good solution to both problems. How efficient!

Lora - Great workout! Forget about the candy! You so deserved a treat! Besides, it was a gift from your mom which was meant to be enjoyed. I hope thinking about that puts a smile on your face to replace any nagging guilt you might still have...
Conni - I don't blame you for keeping your cardio indoors this AM. I don't know how people run in the cold. My heart is broken for your co-worker's family. I will pray that they find peace in the love and compassion of my Lord.
Elaine - I hope you feel better soon! Cold's are so annoying!
Mary - How would you rate Kickmax? I'd like to add some more DVDs to my collection. I'm considering KM, PUB & PLB. Input anyone?
Maggie - Sounds like you wrapped up the week with a solid routine! Good for you!
Diane Sue - I hope your camping trip is the remedy that takes your headache away. I give you alot of credit for pressing on thru your workouts with them. I don't know how you do it!

Tomorrow's an optional REST day on the Strength building rotation but I'm going to workout. I've got some momentum going now that I'm over my cold and headaches. I feel like have to make up for the workouts I missed.

Hi Kim--

You asked about KM, PUB and PLB. First of all I think the Pyramids are a must to add to your collection.

I really like Kick Max, but I tend to break it up into 3 parts (the kick/punch drills, the blast section, and the leg conditioning drills) and add those into other workouts I am doing. I have yet to do it "as produced". For a total kickbox Cathe workout, I prefer KPC from Body Blast.

That's just my opinion.I hope others weigh in.
