Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Wednesday Oct 12

Morning Everyone,

This morning I only had time for BB Timesaver Chest & Back. I have to work the early shift, as I have a dental appt.

Sorry I was unable to check in at all yesterday. I had a really bad day at work and didn't even have time to take my full lunch or break.

I couldn't sleep again last night. I ended up getting about 3-4 hours. That's about what I've been averaging over the last week and a half. I wish I'd start already so I could start sleeping again. I'm going to be exhausted by the time Friday gets here!

Have great workouts everyone and hopefully I can check in from work today.
 
Morning Everyone!

I've been up since 3:45A. I finally decided to come down and work out. I thought I'd fall back asleep. My ds had a little accident, so I had to strip and clean the bed. Just when I got caught up with laundry...:-(

Lora ~ Somehow you have to break your sleeping cycle. I know that I go in spurts of a few nights of no sleep, but usually by the second night I'm so exhausted I can't keep my eyes open to even do homework with my dd. Thankfully, that hasn't been an issue in awhile. I hope you get rest before Friday!

Susan ~ Those links look awesome! I haven't looked at any of them, but I'll be sure to bookmark yesterday's check in. Thanks for taking the time to do that.:) So, any pop tarts on the menu for you! :7 You are NOT a pig!!! Hey, if that's the worst thing you eat while you're pregnant, I think you're doing pretty darn good!

Today, the rotation calls for Imax 3 blasts only. However, I might just do the whole thing. I'm up early enough. And then GS- chest and MM c/d.

Dallas - Yes...sometimes I scare myself. I'm such a hyper person that sometimes when I get very little sleep, the next day after lunch I think for sure I'm going to start falling asleep, but yet I stay "wired" thur that day and into the night. If I get more than 6-7 hours of sleep for a couple nights in a row, this is what usually happens.
 
Good morning!!

This morning I woke up late and didn't get to work out...I hate when that happens!! I guess I was tired and needed the rest. I will do something at lunch today. Think I'd like to run at least 5 miles today.

Lora - That bites about the sleep. Hope you get some rest soon...

Susan - Thanks so much for the links! I've been checking them out. I send out weekly motivational emails and I should be able to find a lot interesting information that I can use.

Dallas - You're not sleeping well either I see. Hope this passes...Enjoy IMAX3, I think that's my favorite workout.

Hi guys,

This morning I did CTX Step Intervals with Chest, plus GS Chest and Triceps.

Last night before I went to bed, I logged onto my computer and thought I'd post some links I have saved. My favorite is bodybuilding.com. They have TONS of good articles.

Lora, I'm so sorry, but I just can't help out with a diet plan for you. I've working on it, but it's just not coming out very well. I even asked for help. I don't like meat either, esp. anything from a pig. I just couldn't work the numbers. A thought I had was to get a few consultations from Karen Sessions. She's been mentioned on this board a few times. I frequent her site regularly. She may be able to help. Also, on Oxygen.com's forum, they have Moderators who reply to most posts. You may be able to ask questions over there. On Cathe's site I think information is somewhat limited ~ remember, most of us a home exercisers.

Dallas, yeah I'm embarrassed to admit, I ate both the Pop Tarts. (blush). But, it was the brand without chemicals and processed stuff (Nature's Path). Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well, but WILL conquer IMAX3!

Sabrina, how was the concert?

Nicole, you can come to my house and help me organize and clean. I'll make the coffee! I'd LOVE some, just a tiny bit, of help. My husband travels all week so I do everything and it's very hard sometimes. I'll just leave it there....x( I had a rough morning today.

Terry, If I ever get more than five minutes to myself, I'll let you know how the BFFM book is. It might be after I retire at the rate I'm going....hahahaha (not funny!).

Diane SUe, I hope your cold goes away reall soon and you get some solid sleep. :)

Hi, I'm back!

Marietta ~ I missed your jokes. Were they in a different thread? No, I'm no having trouble sleeping. I was just trying to help Lora. I've had my fair share of sleepless nights, but what i have always heard is that you have to break the sleep cycle. I'm not quite sure how, but for me after two nights I usually just pass out! ha ha!

Susan ~ yes, Imax 3 is becoming one of my favorites. Still having trouble with the interval that has the plie blasts. I always come up a few short. One of these days!}( I noticed you did GS-C&T. I did GS- chest only. How long did it take you to conquer all 72 push ups on your toes? I can do them all on my toes, but i have to pause the DVD player after 12, 10, 8. Once I get to 8 I can go with the pace. I guess that's an improvement for me. I used to pause it more. Would it be better to stay with the pace and go on my knees? Hope your day gets better than your morning!

Lora ~ I hear you on that wired feeling. For me, it's the caffeine in my morning coffee! :7 However, it's no fun to be wired and tired! x(

OK, more errands to do. I have to take advantage of dh being home this week. It's so much easier not having to take the boys with me.

HAHAHAHA Dallas! Ummm, I'm not exactly doing push ups now. I substitue them with incline bench presses, but I still do all 72!!

Susan, yes you ARE pregnant! LOL! I know, but when you did the DVD the first time how did you handle the 72 push ups? Any breaks? Or knee action? :7

Ohhhhh! Yes, I could do all the push ups without any breaks. I swear the toughest chest routine Cathe does is in Power Hour. She kills me in it.
Yes, my morning is better. I was just mad that I asked my DH to help out with homework and something else for the school. He said he would and was home all weekend and Monday. Yet nothing was done. I pull out my son's folder and there it all is! I'd rather he say "Sorry, I'm not doing a thing" than to have me find out right before I have to leave. Keep in mind, I never ask him for anything unless it's necessary. I'm working on a Halloween party for DS school, his Birthday party (gift and all), book night at the school, Family night at the YMCA, bowling night, Plus work full time....... It's just a lot for ONE person. I only asked for $4 to be put in the envelope I filled out with the form I also completed. Apparently THAT's asking too much.
Also, my boss said he'll buy lunch today from Chilli's!! I'm hungry too.

Well, I'm finally tired. I'm sitting in front of a space heater and I keep falling asleep. Problem is.......I'm at work!!! LOL!
 
Hey Ladies just a quick check-in as I am preparing for mediation tomorrow. Hey Lora I am a hyper person as well so we keep having more things in common! I am doing lowmax today and coremax 1 and Super sets lower body pre-mix. Have a great day all and I will be back tonight.

Hello Everyone,
Today I did low step cardio blast.(50 min.) This afternoon/evening I plan to do section of coremax and section of DT dvd. I am having SERIOUS doms today?????? The outer side of my back is sore. I have not done any kickboxing in awhile, and my body knows it ha ha.

Susan thanks for taking the time to post those links. I sent it to myself as a email haha. I hate to tell you this but,your dh is in for a rude awakening when you have this new baby. Because speaking from experience "YOU CAN'T DO IT ALL." You will be in my thoughts and prayers!! Take care, and go eat another pop tart haha.

Lora have you ever thought about quiting your job, and opening up a coffee shop????:D ( maybe that would improve your sleep) We would all come to the grand opening:7 You can only drink decaf though:7

Nicole - that's funny ....LOL.

Terry - yes, that's right...we do have a lot in common. You're a chocolate lover also, right? I'm telling you....my Mom's going to have to get scolded for buying that pound of good chocolate for me and my hubby's birthdays. She also bought me a caramel apple from a gourmet chocolate shop that has really good ones.

Todays workout was SJP w/u&step, then SB cardio, PSback, biceps & abs then PSLA abs, tough core and st.
I am going to try to finish my christmas shopping this afternoon. Then I need to get dh present boxed up so I can mail it. It sometimes takes a couple of months for him to recieve things I send to Iraq. It will probably get there quick this time though just because it is a Christmas present. I bought me some more vitamin c to help fight off the cold since I ran out a week ago. At least last night I slept well.

Susan ~ I'll second what Nicole said about things changing when the baby gets here. You will need some extra help for sure. My dh doesn't do the homework with the kids, I do. However, he does take the 2 yo out of the room. That is a big help!!! I just spent the last hour printing out ideas for my ds Halloween party. This site may help you kaboose.com or kidsdomain.com. Lots of good ideas for parties. We have to come up with a craft, snack (I'd prefer a sugar free one!), some games. They will also have a parade in their costumes. All of this has to be done in an hour, I think! I'll need that Starbucks coffee that morning for sure! LOL!:7

Nicole ~ Can you believe that bed is still not made?!! :-( I had to wash all of the layers and drop off the down comforter at the cleaners. Well, I better get off this laptop and make that bed, dinner, etc.

Diane Sue ~ Done Christmas shopping!! Oh my! I'm still gathering lists over here. Good for you! Hope you feel better really soon.

Lora ~ Nicole may just have the answer to your sleep deprivation! LOL! They would fire me if I worked there. I'm always hyper too. Can you imagine if I was drinking coffee all day?! Oh boy!

I haven't touched caffeine in over 10 or so years. God only knows what I was like when I drank coffee. Yikes!! My body just goes into wired mode on it's own.

Funny, now I'm home and I'm not the least bit tired. As a matter of fact, I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep again tonight. I think I may have a very slight UTI that is making me a bit jittery and uncomfortable. I am prone to them, but I take medicaton at the first sign and have been taking the medication for a few days now.
 
Lora-Another thing we have in common I can only drink decaf coffee and decaf diet sodas. Maybe we are twins :)

Diane Sue-Glad you are feeling better.

I stll have tons of paper work for tomorrow to do. I hate it when opposing council waits to the last minute to request documents! Thanks for the well wishes and hopefully I will be on tomorrow with good news!

Good evening...thought I'd stop by before I get off work.

I did get in my 5-mile run at lunch today. I feel better about missing my workout this morning now...

Dallas - I posted a little joke out there yesterday in Open Discussion. I think I titled it "Something Funny". The pushups in GS-chest are killer!! I can do them, but for some reason I dread them. I think pausing to complete them is just fine...at least you are doing them all on your toes. Hope got all you errands taken care of.

Susan - I feel your pain....you will definitely need help when the little one gets here.

Terri - Hope all goes well tomorrow. Be glad when you can chat more with us...

Diane Sue - Great workout as always! Finished Christmas shopping!!?? You put me to shame....I'm so last minute it's not even funny.

Nicole - That kickboxing can really work that back...you especially feel it when you don't do it for a while.
