Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Wed Jan 25

Marietta - I hope you aren't dissapointed with Kelly's workouts....they aren't quite as intense as Cathe's but they're good .

My vote for the checkin is Fitness Maniacs check in cuz you ladies work out like nobody's business. LOL!!

Just kidding on above!

Thanks Susan - I just ordered that yoga DVD.

This has been a busy place today. Can you tell I don't feel like working? and my boss has been gone a bit?

Aren't we a yappy bunch today!! LOL!!

I am going to have to start writing down all these workouts everyone keeps suggesting, I have having problems keeping track of them all. :D

Fitness Maniacs check in is about right with this bunch. I better kick it up a couple notches to catch up! :)

>think we need to re-do the voting including Lora's
>suggestion...

I LOVE do-overs! Especially in basketball! hahahaha

Lora, I hope you like that DVD. I just saw the name and thought of you.

Sabrina, if it makes you feel any better...I've kicked it down (way down) a notch in my workouts. x(

Oh, I dont feel like working either. :7 I've been here all day.

I have to make this quick....my dd and I have to finish a school project. I just got home from running errands. I think I'm ready for the party here Sunday?! My ds has to get better first. I see you all have been very busy today. LOL! I always miss the "fun" days!;-)

I vote for "Fitness Maniacs" LOL! Though for me this week it should be Fitness Sloth. :(

I'll read through the thread when I have more time.

I plan on finishing my work out when Dh gets home (before dinner). This should be interesting!

Right now I'm a fat fitness maniac who has been slacking and sleeping in!!! Maybe this will make me kick it up a notch also.

Good evening,
It looks like you girls have been here a lot today. This morning I did a 4.25 mile run on the treadmill starting with the iFIT red rock tape and continuing, then I did P90X shoulders and arms, ab ripperX and 100 kneeling bowflex resisted crunches and 100 seated Bowflex resisted crunches. I also did 35 minutes of the P90X core synergistics workout. I can't leave something alone without getting a feel for it before the time comes to use it:) I don't buy workouts to often and leave them sit till later. BTW these are some great workouts. I do have a hard time letting up on the cardio though. I will probably never gain a lot of size because of that. So far no barbells are used in this series. I have a little fear of losing my ability to get 75 # over my head at the end of 90 days for lower body. I may have to throw something in once in awhile just to keep the assurance that this won't happen. Does anyone else have experience with that? OK enough of my fitness pondering. I vote Fitness Maniacs. I think that would be easy for Lora and is a good name for out group.

Thanks Nicole and Terri for the info. I will check amazon.com.

Lora, I don't think I could ever rely solely on Yoga to attain the physique I want. I do see where you could have hurt yourself there.

Dallas, I got most of my stuff done. I still have the dreaded tax stuff to finish getting together. I did get a start on it though.

Marietta, I think the Cardio Kicks drills are a good 14 min add on. I do run in place on the breaks. I like this workout. I thought it worked with the type of workout I had just finished. Maybe the higher intensity drills on KM would have been better. I just did not have that in me after Plyo X.

Diane Sue-I am a bit confued (nothing new :) ) but is p90x a lowerbody rotation? Or are you just doing the lower body one?

Ok I vote Fitness Maniacs. Marietta are you keepong track?

Terri

Terri,
No P90x is a total body system from beachbody.com It has a lot of stuff that targets the lower body, just not really heavy weights with barbells. It is a 90 day routine. It includes a nutrition program as well. I just felt like maybe I needed to add on a little so I don't feel like I am missing something. So far on phase one going into the second week it is dumbbells. I love not having to pick up the barbell. Loved that about the Pyramid upper workouts. I am planning to try and up the weight the second week into it now that I know what I am in for. I have experienced some good DOMS with this since I started it. I think the change will be good. I am adding in extra cardio to this though.
I hope I did not misunderstand what you were asking.
