Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Tuesday Sept 20

Morning Everyone -

This morning I did Imax 3 and modified some of the impact on the rebounder. I only got 3.5 hours of sleep last night. I had a bit of difficulty with keeping the intensity up because of this and the fact that I've been having GI problems (still). I don't know how I'm going to make it thru the long work day....ugh!

Morning All,

Lora-I too have only slept for 4 hours. I went out last night to meet a friend for coffee who is going through a hard time. We were out much later then I expected. I however have my office at home and have no outside appts today. I hope you do ok at work and feel better soon. Not sure why I woke at 5 a.m. today:(

Sabrina-Sorry to hear about your storm experience yesterday. I hope the vehicle is not damaged too badly.

Dallas-Your children must be doing GREAT with the classes. Was your son thrilled? It was nice to just do weights yesterday and the break from the cardio didn't make me feel too guilty :) Have you heard from Marietta?

Nicole-I did the Drawer I had planned on doing and as I expected I had so much stuff in there to file away or trash. What shall we do today?

Hi Ladies!
Today was leg day! I did LL, plus Supersets Lower body blast, plus Push Pull lower body (2 sets Premix). I did pretty well considering I had DOMS in my adductors from earlier this week.

Sabrina, that was some storm! I don't think I've ever seen one like that before. Hopefully there is very minimal damage to your new vehicle. I'm glad your sons are ok as well.

Lora, sorry your GI is aggravating you today. I hope you're well enough to make it through your workday. How are you doing on this month's butts and guts rotation?

Dallas, I agree, Cathe has such good workouts that an additional class is not *that* necessary. I know social interaction is nice though. Your kids are doing great in karate!
How are your sil and her father doing? Last I heard it wasn't looking so good.

Terri, enjoy HSTA today! I remember Cathe was debating to put abs on the end of this workout, and then chose not to. That's the only thing this dvd lacks.

Nicole, don't feel bad about ME being tough yesterday. You WILL get your endurance and strength back. I remember I took a long time (like 3 months) off of exercising when we decided to move. I have to prepare the house for showing and do all the packing (all me). I remember after I moved trying to go for a jog.... oh my! I went about half mile and died. I pushed and pushed. It was ugly.

So, where is Marietta? Does anyone know where she lives? I'm sure she has mentioned it. I wonder if she could be affected by any of the hurricanes.

Morning Ladies!

Susan-good workout! That was definately some storm! I called insurance about the truck and someone from claims will call me back and then they will come and look at the truck. We'll just have to see what happens.

Lora-I hope you get better soon.

Dallas-congratualtions to your kids! Sounds like they are doing very well. Did you make it through the soccer games over the weekend? How about the parties, how were they?

Hi Marietta and Diane Sue!!

I walked the boys to school this morning and of course I will walk to pick them up. They get out at 11:30 today so I think we are going to drive to Peoria (50 minutes) and go to the book store and I think to Best Buy so I can pick up Desperate Housewives on DVD. DH is 2 1/2 hours away again (Decatur) so he will be late tonight. I hope the boys will behave later so I can get some kind of workout in. I will post later and let you know!

Where is everyone today?

I finally got a call back from our insurance and I have to take the truck in and get an estimate. We wont have to pay a deductable. I can take it to the same place I bought it from which will be nice since almost all of the people out there know me.

I bought Jillian's book today. Now I just have to find time to read it. :)

Jillian has a book too? Where did you find it at? Ya know I scare myself sometimes with wanting EVERYTHING that has to do with fitness. If he BFFM wasn't an e-book I would buy it!
Let me know what you think of Jillians Book :) I am so glad you don't have to pay a deductible!

I bought Jillian's book at Barnes and Noble when I went shopping this afternoon. I guess I might as well tempt you even more. There is also going to be a book out for the Biggest Loser. I will post that link too.

Hi everyone!

No work out today, no sleep last night either Arghh! x( My neighbor said that it was because of the full moon last night. I never heard that before. She said no one slept at her house either. Hmmm, I was the only one up last night here! x(

I'll have to make up tomorrow on my work out. I'm going to U2 tomorrow night with a bunch of girlfriends. WOO HOO! I'm so excited! I went last time they were in town too!

Have to go read to the kids. Have no idea what everyone has posted, but I'll read later when I have time. Haven't been home too much today that's why I didn't work out.

Late checkin as usual. Todays workout was I Max 3, GS Chest & Triceps and Core Max #2&#3with some added extra resistance. I have a plumber that will here tomorrow. My daughter is coming over and my son after work to work on our sprinkler system. I am not sure when I will check in.
My dh sent me flowers. I was so surprised. I opened the door to get the newspaper and about knocked them flying. They were in a box. He sent me african violets. They were purple which he knows is my favorite color :)

Thurs. cardio, S&H legs, Bowflex extensions, curls and calves, Pyramid abs, KPC abs, Coremax 2, 100 Bowflex resisted crunches
Fri. Cardio, Upper Pyramid Down
Sat. Cardio, SJP abs, SS abs&stretch
Sun. rest
Mon.Cardio GS legs, Coremax Complete Core
Tues. Cardio, SH back,shoulders, & biceps
Wed. Cardio, S&H triceps, shoulders, abs, MM abs
Thurs. MM lower, Bowflex leg curls, extensions, & calves MM st
Fri. Cardio, SS upper blast
Sat. cardio, SS abs, Bowflex resisted crunches
I didn't go into detail on the cardios as I switch them around quite a bit. Sometimes I feel like a long high intensity one and other days lower. And I tend to mix up my cardios a lot.
