Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Tuesday Nov 8

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Slim Series Tear It Up. I modified the jump squats on the rebounder and when they jogged, I did high knees on the rebounder. I liked this workout better than yesterdays, as it kept my heartrate up higher. I'm feeling this one already. I'm glad I got the 2 longer ones out of the way early in the week.

I'm waiting for the phone call from the hospital about my start date. I told them I can start tomorrow, so we shall see.

My baby is still sick. He had problems this morning. We need to keep giving him Kaopectate today. Also, his one medication (Flagyl) has a horribly bitter taste and the Vet said if it didn't go right down, we'd have problems. Sure enough ...this morning's pill got stuck and he practically chewed it. He was foaming at the mouth and it was awful. Poor thing. I feel like such a bad Mommy.

Today I did Firm it up:D Lora TIU is my favorite of the Slim Series to!! Right now I am just following the Slim training rotation. How is your body feeling today??? I am really feeling my shoulder and upper back today!! I stayed up to late last night, but had everything ready to go for my workout this am, and it is kinda nice change not having to be pull out equipment:)


Thanks to you all for your concern!! I really appreiate ALL of you, and I can't tell you enough how I enjoy coming here everyday to see what you are all doing :D

Nicole - I did the 2 longer ones first, as I wanted to get them out of the way before my new job starts. I may add cardio on the end of a couple this week if I have time unless I feel they are sufficient. I can't really tell how my body is feeling. My legs are a little sore, but my pain from my herniated disc has been so bad in my neck, shoulders and upper back that I can't really tell it that part of my body how I feel.

Diana Sue - Do you take anything for your migraines? I can't stand the pain and when I get a really bad one, I take Zomig. It really helps. Sometimes it doesn't get rid of it totally, but it dulls it.
 
Hello All,

Today is GS C&T, S&H C&T, + S,J&P. I have lots to do with with my business today as well. I hired a new employee and will be training them on a clints house for a couple hours this morning. Lora, are you happy to be going back to work? I hope your kitty is better soon. Nicole do the SS tapes not use any weights? Is it all cardio? Can you describe them to me from your point of view? :) I bet you wish I wouldn't ask so many questions:)

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I didn't feel like doing LM, so I did Imax 2 only intervals 1-5 because of my hamstring. I then hopped on the treadmill for 40 minutes. That's it for now. I may add on some abs/stretching later. I have a lot do here today. Also, I have a goal to finish Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving. I sure hope I can do it. I'm taking my boys to the mall to attempt shopping with them. All three kids have the flu shot this afternoon.

Nicole ~ How would you rank the order of the workouts from the SS? Just curious because I can buy them individually on the Beachbody site?

Terri ~ Which rotation are you following now?

Good Morning fitness ladies!

This morning I did HC High Step Challenge, then MIS Triceps and PH Triceps. Whoa! By the time I got to PH tris, they were already tired.

Lora, I think that's nice that you got a gift certificate for Collage Video. Did you order Cathe's new ones that are coming out soon? Also, don't worry about learning things at the new position. Take LOTS of notes and that may help make the transition go smoothly. I hope your cat gets better soon. Good thing your around lately to take it to the vet.

Diane Sue, I've had a few migraines in my life. I would take Feverfew and sometimes stack it with White Willow bark. It worked wonders! Better then the crappy Codeine the doctor gave me.

Dallas, You and me both...have got to do the "stop eating junk food rotation". Man, between Halloween, Birthday cake/Pizza and my parents Cider Doughnuts, it's a wonder I feel good.
But not to go off in a tangent, but this world IS meant for giants! I went shopping for a few more pair of maternity pants and if you're not 5'10" and 120 pounds OR BIGGER, nothing will fit. My shirts are rolled up at least three times and pants...the pants are HUGE! They are labeled "small" but there aint nuttin small about them. I look like a frumpy dump box. So there.

Anyway, Nicole, I'm glad you and your family are ok after the tornado. That's really sad what happened. I heard it was five football fields wide.

Marietta, I was wondering how often do you teach step classes a week? Do you run and teach on the same days. I think I'd be too tired.

Terri, Any new news on the family situation? I really hope people come to their "senses" before Thanksgiving.

Susan-I just don't see it coming together before the holidays. I tried speaking with my mother last night and it went from bad o worse. I just wanted her to see that she is throwing away 50 years of marriage to side with my brother over my dad. I give up! All she does is get mad at then I get mad. SO it is best I don't try to talk with her for awhile. Plus she does this thing where she turns around what I am saying and repeats it at the top of her lungs so my brother can hear it and jump on the phone and yell at me too. Sounds like a Jerry Springer show I know!

Susan ~ LOL! I'm sure you DON"T look like a "frumpy dump box"! :D You crack me up! About the eating thing, me and my neighbor (who likes to work out too) were talking at the bus stop about it. It's not that our meals are bad, they are still healthy. It's all the little bites here and there in between meals! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I told her from today until Thanksgiving I'm getting back on track so I can enjoy indulging on Thanksgiving. :) I better do all of Cathe's Nov. rotation! ha ha! Get my furnace superduper hot! }(

Lora you go GIRL ha ha. Were you feeling like they were never going to end???? Doing the 2 long ones the first 2 days. I don't know how someone could not get good results with these. You just have to do them!! Playing my own music really does make a difference. I like rock/techo for working out!! Something with a motiviating beat to keep me going!!

Terri yes the SS use wts!! It is high low wt. Yesterday I used 3,5 and 8 lbs. SS also use's a bands in some of the dvds. The dvds uses opposing muscle groups and contains many compound moves. Its pretty much circuit endurance with A LOT of things thrown in. Lora does that cover it??? Oh and Terri don't mind your questions:) They have a EVERYTHING thead over at VF that you could read also here's the link

Dallas I would say Tear it is my favorite!! It cover's the whole body and has more cardio!! My friend has the whole set and this is the only one she really uses for the last 2 years. They also sell a dvd at Target with 2 of the workouts on it. I think it has shape it up and tone it up??? Look at the above link and it should give you more of an idea. I think I am really going to be TIRED by the end of the week:7

Diane Sue sorry about your Migraine. I remember when I used to get them I would take a long sock and tie it around my head, and boy I may have looked silly, but it sure helped!!:7

Susan I bet you look GREAT!! You are going to have the BEST legs/butt in the delivery room;-)

Hey Guys!! A little late checking into today...busy morning.

This morning I did CTX Step and Intervals and I did the intervals twice. Then I did CTX Shoulders. This afternoon I read a book and did the ellipitical machine. I have class this evening...3 workouts today!! Bring it on...

Lora - Poor kitty. So do you start your new job tomorrow??

Nicole - We're just glad you are okay. I enjoy coming here too!!

Terri - What a workout!! Your chest and triceps have to be on fire by now...

Dallas- Good luck on completing your Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving. My goal is to be done by Christmas Eve (LOL!!)...I'm serious though.

Susan - I teach about 3 days a week. I have like 5 hours between running or working out at lunch before class so I'm good to go by then. The way you workout...this would be a piece of cake for you. Oh...stop being so darn hard on yourself....You are a beautiful lady!!

The Hospital just called and I start tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck. I hope I can sleep tonight.

Nicole - I think you covered it with SS. I also listen to my own music when doing them.
