Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Tuesday July 5

Morning Everyone -

Hopefully everyone is back today. I missed everyone over the long weekend (except for you Nicole). I started the July rotation yesterday so today's workout was the Step portion from Step, Jump & Pump plus abs and stretch. I also did an extra couple of step portions and a couple high lows, since I had the time. I'll probably be adding on to this rotation all month when I have time, since the fact that it's summer doesn't really affect my workout time. The only thing that affects my workout time is my job........which is an evil necessity!

Lorajc did you ever do those walking lunges? }( I am going to TRY and do them tomorrow :D

Today I am going to do PUB and 20 min. of cardio.

Yesterday when I went to do PLB. My stability ball was FLAT
:eek: I looked to see, and it had a hole in it? Oh well it lasted me a LONG time (11 yrs)!!! I went to Walmart and bought a new one, and I like the fact that this is a anti-burst one. (I don't think my other one was) So I am looking forward to working out on my new ball today :7

I'm scheduled to do those tomorrow. I'll probably do them, but I may add on to the scheduled rotation again. We'll see if ADD girl can focus long enough to do the lunges.

Hi ladies,

I have not checked in since I have not been able to work out. I am waiting for my doctors nurse to get in so I can get an appointment. I must have gotten into something that I shouldn't have. I have welts (hives, red bumps, or whatever you want to call them) over several areas of my body. I have taken benadryl all weekend and I still have them. I figured working out would only irritate them more and I itch enough now. LOL!! Friday I have to go see a neurosurgeon about my headaches. I wish Friday would get here sooner, I hate the waiting. Hummmm! I need to workout especially after the food I ate yeaterday!! LOL!! It was so tastey though. :p

Hi everyone,

I'm back from our long weekend. We had a wonderful time. We took our boat out on ....oh my gosh, I don't remember the name of the lake! We went to Seneca Falls, NY. It's absolutely beautiful there. PLUS, the hotel we stayed at allowed dogs.

Let's see, Saturday and Sunday I stuffed my face, hahaha, Monday I did Muscle Max and this morning I did PLB, then added L&G ankle weights Premix.

I'm not going to do this month rotation. I think I'll do March again. It's all the Hardcore's ~ or maybe something similar to it. I have a lot going on this month, so I might have to take a week at a time.

Sabrina, I once had a rash from being in the woods and I used Calamine lotion (the pink stuff), and that took care of it. I'm not sure if that would help you or not. Also, keep us posted on your doctors apt. on Friday.

Nicole, have fun with your new stability ball!

Lora, good luck with your walking lunges. Those are killer! I did them a few times last summer, but they irritated my meniscus, so I stopped for fear it would wear my knees down more.

Susan-I ended up going to the doctor and I got a shot in each hip of cortizone. One fast acting and the other a time released. I am not itching as bad. I also got zyrtec to take once a day for 10 days. He said I was obviously allergic to something. I just don't know what it is. I was never so happy to get a shot in my life! LOL! I will let you know what happens at my appointment Friday with the neurosurgeon. Thanks.:)
 
I'm having second thoughts about this month's rotation. Does everyone think the workouts are long enough? I need to lose a few pounds and I'm wondering if maybe I should do a Fatloss Rotation instead.
 
Hi Everyone,

I usually don't post here, but I saw some of you talking about the walking lunges. I'm not doing the July rotation, but the April 2005 (I think) instead. Tomorrow calls for GSL standing leg work only. I was going to add the 200 lunges here. What are your thoughts on that? I was surprised that it's only the standing portion of the work out, but then I saw that there's another leg work out in two days. Would adding the lunges be too much?

Susan I am LOVING my new ball. I went with the bigger size and in this case * bigger is better* ha ha.

Lora I don't think you will lose any wt. with this month's rotation. It looks more like matinence to me. I really had A LOT of sucess with the hardcore fat/loss rotation. I am currently doing the August 04 which focus's on fat loss and legs and glutes.(just where I need it ha ha ;)

You can post here anytime:D I think you are fine to do walking lunges after GSL}( I am currently doing the Aug04 rotation and tomorrow I will be doing PLB and attempt to do all 200 of those walking lunges:eek:

Thanks Nicole ~ That rotation looks good. I don't have a lot of the older DVD's. I'll check in here tomorrow to see how those 200 lunges were for you! In a weird way, I'm looking forward to them. We'll see once I get started tomorrow, however!

Hi everyone,
I got home yesterday. I did a really short workout on Friday before I left. Bowflex rowing with Cardio Coach audio, then Tough Core.
Today I did Cardio Coach with the Bowflex rowing again and followed it with the intensity drills of KPC, then used the Bowflex for most of my exercises for 4 sets of 12 reps each exercise chest, shoulders & triceps. I followed it with the KPC st..
We went camping and had a great time. Everyone but me went canoeing. I was afraid I would get water in my eyes. My eye surgeon said no swimming in lakes or pools :)

Sabrina, I hope you find out what you were allergic to. My daughter went to a neurologist for her Migraines. She had been to the dr. for these for a long time. The neurologist has really helped her and she finally is going long periods without them. Hopefully you will get help.

Missed you, but happy to hear you had such a good time:7 I have a question???? What is cardio coach I have seen a few posts about it, but not sure really what it is???

Dallas how kind of you ha ha... I will be thinking of you when I do those lunges}( I have been anticipating them for a week I even posted about how long it would take for me to complete them ha ha. I am aiming for 10-15min.

I am so glad the hives are getting better too! Thank you!! I was looking so forward to those shots yesterday! The nurse laughed at me. LOL! I ended up scratching my hip this morning and the hives showed up for a little while then disappeared, thank goodness. I hope they don't show up on the roadtrip. Not pretty!

I hope the neurosurgeon has some suggestions, as long as it is not surgery. I don't know if I want that. Have to wait and see. :)
