Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Thursday Sept 8

Morning Everyone,

This morning the rotation called for a 40 minute run and since I don't run, I did Imax 3 warmup and then blast segment only and cool down (40 minutes) followed by Coremax premix: Tough Core.

Today I did KPC! I didn't to all the ab work, just some crunches on the ball.

Lora, what rotation did you decide on? Or, did you make up your own? How are you feeling btw?

came back to ask Diane Sue: I remember you mentioning toe weights you use. Do you use them for kickboxing? For the life of me I can't remember the name of them. It was something like jellies, but I know that's not it.
 
Morning Ladies!

Dallas-depending on what homework the boys have is how I decide how they will do their homework. Spelling is done at different times. Sometimes they will do their homework together. I make sure they understand they will not be allowed to do anything until the homework is done and I have looked over it to make sure it is done right. Some days it is better to have them do it separate. I will have one son at the table doing homework while the other is in another room studying spelling words or reading. Then they will switch places. Most of the time I do have them separate because they think it is giggle time when they are doing homework together. Sorry for the long ramble! LOL!

Walked my sons to school again. Of course I will walk to pick them up too. I have to get all my things loaded into the back of the truck for the yard sale my MIL is having Saturday and get them taken to her house. This will take up some time today. Not sure what workout I will get in if any. I find it is harder without DH home. I have lots more to do on my own. :-(

Good morning!!

This morning I did MIC (warm-up and Step portions only) and then I did shoulder work from Muscle Max (added a little bonus of my own). I have class this evening so I think I'll skip my lunch workout and do a little shopping.

Lora - I have yet to do a blast only pre-mix, but tomorrow my rotation calls for one so that should be interesting.

Sabrina - Sounds like you have the homework deal down to a science. Loading your truck just may be equivalent to a workout...right!! You don't realize how much having your DH around helps until they aren't there...funny how that works.

Susan - Still crunching?? Enjoy them while you can...right?

Terri - What do you think about the treadmill workout at first glance? It looks much easier than it actually is...trust me. Toasty is insane!! I saw the original rotation she did for September and it scared me...I thought I was a maniac...I bow down to Toasty!!

Good Morning Ladies!

My DS party is on!!! Yeah, his fever broke yesterday. He's bummed thought because he missed getting tested for his orange belt yesterday. Hopefully, they'll do it next week and not make him wait a month. My DD is quickly catching up with him though! She got her strips yesterday, so next step is orange belt. I want to get in on this karate fun!

Marietta ~ You are right about that treadmill work out. I started out thinking, "Hey, this is easy..." ;-) It really kicks in. It was a great work out. Thanks for sharing.

Sabrina ~ I'm glad my kids aren't the only gigglemiesters when it's homework time. You do have it down pat. Thanks for the advice. Two with homework is all new to me. My DS has so much make up work.

Susan ~ I was doing LL this AM and I think I understand what your Gorsha lunges are. The part when we have are back leg on the high step and you lunge sounds like the Gorsha lunges, right? But only a higher step?

Lora ~ how did your hair appt turn out? Are you feeling better? i get nauseous when I get sinus infections. All that yucky drainage. Do you think that's what caused it?

Terri ~ Have you tried Pinky's version. I want to give that one a try this week. Looks really good.

Has anyone tried A-Jock's latest mish mosh? I have to print it out. I was reading some of them last night. Yeow!

I did LL this morning. I wanted to add on more abs and GSL floor work, but ran out of time. I still may, but have to wait until later. My husband is having the bar framed out in the basement which is right across from the work out room. Also, have a repair guy coming for both washer and dryer! He was already coming for the dryer, but last night my washer stopped mid-cycle!

OK, got lots to do for this party tomorrow! I'll try and check back later.

Okay, I only have 1 minute to checkin. I'm still trying to dig my office out from vacation. I feel left out. Where is everyone getting all of these rotations that you keep on discussing? I've looked at the DVD/Rotation section and I don't see rotations from Toasty or the other person you ladies mention.

I decided to stick with the Sept rotation for now (only cuz I don't have time to refigure anything right now). I looked it over quickly and modified it to include 2 total body weight workouts per week and I added some addition lunges, leg work, etc. I probably won't take a rest day on Saturdays either since I'm still trying to lose weight.

I feel a bit better today. Not throwing up or nauseous, but I have bloating and IBS/GI symptoms that will probably last until my system settles down.
 
Lora ~ I can e-mail Pinky's extended LM version. She posted it in the Videos discussion board. I think Charlotte posted her rotation that Terri is doing in a different thread? I think Terri may have posted it in this check in a few days ago, right Terri? I haven't decided what rotation I am doing yet. This week I'm just focusing in on getting a work out in. Next week, I'll probably start one. I just have to decide which one. So many good ones to chose from!:)

Todays workout was Hardcore Xtreme HI LO inervals stopping at the stretch,HSCh cardio only, then GS BSB no w/u. I think I am going to do heavy training for this month with lots of cardio. I need to get rid of some of the water retention from all of the fast food and family gatherings. I went out yesterday and stocked back up on lots of veggies and chicken.

Susan the Jolie shoe weights I use are the 1# each they do have some that are 2#. I use them when doing ab work and on the toning drills at the end of Kick Max. They are also good for adding an extra pound with ankle weight work. I have used them doing Low Max as well. I can't seem to get on their website. I bought mine from fwonline. Wow I just looked at that hard rotation. YIKES. I can't beleive your doing it. I would probably only venture that if I wasn't working full time. I'd definitely need to do it as an AM/PM routine.
