Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Thursday Aug 11

Morning Everyone -

This morning I did Kick Punch & Crunch and modified some of the running and higher impact on the rebounder (for my feet). I didn't have time for the PLB Stability ball, but will tack it on to my Sunday workout this week. I've also rescheduled the double bootcamp day for next week -- since I didn't have time to do it this week cuz of doctor and dental appointments.

Hello Everyone!!

This morning I did HSC followed by the 10 Intensity Blast of KM. (I hope I did the right thing.) On the actual rotation it reads to do the high intensity drills, but on the DVD the wording doesn't say that and so I was confused about what to do. Do you guys understand what I'm saying? Did I do the right thing??

Lora...I'd be very interested in hearing what the doc says about your foot..I'd suspect that he will want you to take it relatively easy.

Good Morning!

I did HSC and the 10 Intensity Blasts of KM. I wondered that too, Marietta. Was it called Bootcamp? It wasn't long. I didn't do the tuck jumps, just did jacks. This was about 85 minutes.

Lora, with this rotation, switching workouts around seems to work well. Good luck with your doctor's apts. It's a good thing you can use a rebounder for cardio!

Dallas, the last time I went to a gym regularly was about three years ago. I did not take any of the classes, mainly since the ones I'd go to were at times I could not make it there. I used Cathe for cardio and the gym equipment for heavy lifting.

Nicole, My son has climbed into bed with me when my husband travels. He makes little "baby" snores. It's cute, but wakes me up. Lately, he's been coming into our room and sleeps in the dogs' bed! (at least it's getting used). It's a large oval fleecy bed with a pillow and blanket. A lot of mornings he's in it. hahaha

Diane Sue, I have to go slightly heavier in Super Sets to get a *good* workout in. Do you do the tricep push-ups (see saws) too in PP? I don't feel the effectiveness in those.

Hey Ladies,

Glad to see I did the same thing from kickmax as I too was confused. I did the intensity blasts and was going to come on here and ask if I did the right thing. I guess I did!:) The time flew by for me with HSC and the KM blasts. Probably cause I hadnt done either of those workouts for awhile. It was fun! Later today I will be doing more core workk and debating between a shot cardio or more weigh work. What do you think?

Dallas-How did your hair come out? we want pics :)

Terri, this is just my personal opinion; today, I would not do more cardio since you're going to do a lot tomorrow, plus you did some today. More core work and weights should be fine.

So far, I've stuck with this rotation every single day. If all still goes well, I'm thinking instead of taking Sunday off, doing MIS or back-to-back Gym Styles.

I like Terri's idea about posting your picture, Dallas. We should all email each other a picture of ourselves. What do you think?

Hey Susan I did the KPC-LG 82min. premix yesterday and LOVED it!!So THANKS for the hot tip!!!

Terri you are getting A LOT done!!! (don't you feel soooo...GOOD:D) I think I am going to get a drawer done today to!!

Hi Ladies!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one confused this AM about KM. I had to do a makeshift work out. Thanks again Marietta and Susan. This is what I did:

Imax 3 wu, step/blast #1
PH squats
Imax 3 s/b #2
PH chest (I could barely lift the barbell up when I was done!}( )
Imax 3 s/b#3
PH back
Imax 3 s/b #4
PH lunges/shoulders (My legs were definitely on fire! }()
Imax 3 s/b #5
PH biceps/triceps (I couldn't finish the tricep work. I was afraid I'd drop the barbell on my head!)
KM Blast Challenge (I had trouble finishing blast 9 - lunges. My legs were already fatigued from PH lunges. But blast #10 - tuck jumps seemed easier!)
KM cool down

That took about 2 hours. I want to do a stretch max segment later.

That was an awesome work out! I'm going to keep this one in mind for future reference.

Hey, that's a good idea about e-mailing pix. I'll have to see if I have a recent one. I did post a family pix from Sept 2004 in the work out area thread.

I have to run. I'll check back later. Where's Marietta's picture? My two older children come home this afternoon and I still have a LONG LIST of things to get done!

HI Everyone,
Today I did KPC w/u & high intensity drills
BC cardio & lower no w/u or st
KPC/LG premix combo drills with high step leg presses in between no w/u or st stopped at the abs
followed with LG floor work
PP inner outer thighs 3 times, then calves 2x
finished w/ KPC abs and CM tough core then stretch

Marietta, I am sure you did the right thing with KM

Susan I go heavier on SS too. I do the triceps see saws from this as well as the PP add on I did. I always feel like no matter how hard I try to really feel this I don't. I was thinking maybe I would be better off just to do close grip bench presses while they are doing that.

Terri I am meeting dh Sunday in Dallas and flying back here with him
His flight was delayed when I talked to him this morning because of high winds and a huge sandstorm. He was heading to Jordan.

Dallas that is a great looking workout.

Susan...girl, I'm glad I wasn't the only one questioning that. Seems like I saw that on the forum alot today.

Terri...thanks for the compliment. Thought it was time to go ahead and post my pictures...I was being shy for some reason. I agree with Susan's advice on the remainder of your workout today...but ultimately do what you need to do to make you content...just don't hurt yourself.

Lora ~ How's your foot? What did the doc say about using the rebounder?

Nicole/Susan ~ I missed that "hot" tip to do the KPC-L&G premix yesterday. I've never tried that one. I'll have to make a note to add that one in the future.

Marietta ~ I don't know how I missed your added picturetrail line. I was in a huge hurry this morning. Your pictures are great! The hard work you're putting into your work outs shows! I'm shy too about posting pictures. Then I think about all the nut balls on the internet. It turns out that the kids are staying another night. My other little guy is watching football with DH. We were gone all day running errands. So, not only do I have the regular stuff to do right now, but the "extra" stuff before the kids get home. What in the world am I doing on this computer! LOL! I'll get it all done.

Susan ~ That is funny that your son snuggles up in the dog's bed!

Terri ~ You must be feeling better? How did your double work out turn out? Do you really like HSC? Do you have HSTA? As for my hair, I like the color. I just did an all over color and no highlights. The sun has been doing a pretty good job adding in natural highlights. I never like my hair right after a haircut. In a week, it's much better when it starts to grow out a little.

Diane Sue ~ another great work out. Will you take time off from working while your hubby is in town?

Well, tomorrow I don't have MIC so Marietta and Susan suggested 30 mins of step and 30 mins on the treadmill. Next week I'm going to need a lot of help too, Marietta. I don't have any of the work outs.:-(
