Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Sunday Jan 1

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did the Biggest Loser Workout...all of it but the low intensity aerobics. It was about 75 minutes. I did 20 min high intensity cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of boot camp and the warm up and cool down. I burned 450 calories! It was a pretty good workout. I never watched the show, but I like Bob a heck of a lot better than Jillian. If I wouldn't have overslept, I would have done the entire DVD.

What's everyone doing for January? I'm not going to do the Jan rotation right now, since I've been doing non-Cathe workouts for 2 months. I don't think I should jump right back into that, plus I don't have 90 minutes a day to workout anyway.

How's everyone planning on using their TLT's when they get here next week? Does anyone have a rotation?

I think I'm going to do a similar week to the one I just did and wait for my TLT's and then I'll probably play with my TLT's for a week or 2 before I start a Cathe rotatation. When I'm ready to start my Cathe rotation, I'm going to do the November Fat Loss one. I just wondered what everyone else is planning for this month.

Today I plan to do firm it up. Last night I did get in tear it up so I am feeling pretty good about that:D

Lora I am sticking to my Slim series until I get my TLT's. Then I am not sure??? Do you know what kind of rotation I could do to encorporate the SS with the TLTS?

Cathes rotation this month looks like a real KILLER}( Now that would really give my body a SHOCK:p

Hi Ladies,

I looked at cathes rotation and I want to do it but I still want to do the SS as well. I could do both but that would be a lot of working out. Ninety minutes of cathe plus a SS workout which we will average at sixty minutes and then my upperbody workout which we will average at 45 minutes equals a lot! I am thinking out lous here can you tell? :) Any advice? Come on Nicole you got to help me as you got me started on SS :) I would do as I do now and break things up, like csthe in am and SS and weights in pm.

I am feeling better today and will try to do burn it up since it did come in the mail yesterday! Last night I just laid on the couch very nauseous and achey watching Dick Clarks new year. It was kinda sad to see him after his stroke. I am sure he has come along way but his speech was still off. I just remember him always looking so young and Healthy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! :D

I managed to stay up until midnight with 2 out of 3 of my kids and dh. We got home right after New York dropped the ball and then we turned on Chicago's countdown. We had fun at my in-laws. We played charades. I took lots of pictures. I'll try and get them downloaded.

I was going to sleep in a little, but my eyes popped open at 6A. So, I went down to workout before anyone got up. I did a 3.25 run on the treadmill. My heart rate monitor kept flashing. I'm still figuring it out, but it was over my zone. It was at 170 at it's highest. I felt really good while running, so not sure what that means. I also did FIrm it Up with the toe weights.

Terri ~ I like the looks of the January rotation too. Lately, I haven't been working upper body as much. I'd like to focus on that and still keep with the freestyle work for lower body. My workouts have already been averaging 90 minutes or more. Let me know what you figure out. I'd like to think that I'd do the cardio in the AM and then weights later, but it just doesn't happen with the kids and everything else. I guess I could get up a half hour earlier (4:30A!!!).

Nicole ~ Let us know what you come up with for a rotation for SS and TLT's. I just ordered them, so I won't get them as soon as you (probably).

Lora ~ So, you have workouts with Bob too? I bet it's a much nicer workout than Jillian?;-)

Diane Sue ~ Did you survive the night with your grandchildren? :) You're the good one here. We didn't make it to church today. The kid's slept in for once.

Well, have to go get ready for some more New Year's fun!

Terri I really like the looks of Cathe's to :D, but I have TLT's coming, and I am still liking what SS is doing for my lower body that I am afriad to give that up??? Although I think doing Cathe's would be GREAT for me!! I have been neglecting my cardio, and I am craving that good sweatfesst, and BOY this rotation would bring that on}( I am thinking about doing this rotation, and then doing 30 min. of a SS in the evening???

Cahthe in am then in pm SS floor 30 min.

I can do this for a week ;) right??? Care to join???

Of course I will listen to my body, and then when I get my TLT's I will start doing something with those.

Dallas I am hoping that Susan can come up with a TLT/SS rotation for me:D She's good at putting them together:) I am hoping she will be back today. I am happy to hear you ordered the TLT's. I think these are really going to be good!!

Ok Nicole I like what your idea! Now I don't want to feel left out so tell me where to check out the TLT's. I know you all have been talking about them but to be honest I had so much going on that I wasn't paying enough attention. Are they cardio or weights or both? I agree SS has really took the bulk out of my hips and legs!

Hey Terri I here is a link http://www.tracielongtraining.com/ From what I hear these really focus on Functional fitness. I am really excited about these. Of course you know I would love it if you got these so we could work out some kind of rotaion working our beloved SS and the TLT's together :7

You ladies make me envious! I wish I had all of the time to work out during the day like everyone else does. Since I've been back to work, I've been having a hard time finding enough time to do everything .....let alone increase my workout time. I already get up way too early.

I'm glad everyone's still enjoying the Slim Series. I have difficulty sticking with anything that long.
