Hi Everyone -
This morning I did Firm Total Body Sculpt (3) and since that didn't feel like quite enough, I added 15 minutes upper body toning from Shape's Bikini Ready Body DVD (I think that's the name of it) and 15 more minutes of cardio (hi/lo intervals) from the same DVD. I then added a 5 minute pilates ab toning section from Shape your Abs DVD. I hope I didn't overdo it, as I"m still not feeling all that great, but I felt like I needed to work out a bit harder today.
I hate to complain, but my pain from my disc problem has been really bad since the weather got really cold and snowy here. I have horrible spasms in both of my shoulders, traps and down into my leveator scapulae. They feel like cement. Hopefully my soak in the tub with Epsoms salts will help a bit and then I'll use my percussion massager.
I got those Shape DVDs yesterday. That darned Videofitness site. I preordered these a few months ago, as I like Michelle Dozois and Tracy York and they lead them. I previewed them last night and thought....eh? I dunno....they look so/so.....but after doing the upper body toning, and cardio, I've changed my mind a bit. The music is generic and so is the set, but I kinda liked the workout. The cardio is really different than everything else I have (which is good) and it was fun and the toning also had some unique moves. I'll probably put them aside for now until my next Cathe break though. Yes, I spend all of my money on perfume oils and exercise DVDs. I always wait till Christmas to get clothes! LOL
