Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Friday Sept 9

Hi Everyone -

Yay ....it's Friday. Last night before bed, I never thought I'd be going to work today, let alone working out. My stomach flu seemed to take a turn for the worst last night and I was pretty sick. I really don't want to miss a workout or work (too busy), so I soldiered on this morning (I know -- I'm stubborn). Let's hope I make it thru the day though. I ended up only doing about 45 minutes of cardio (moderately paced) (Step & Intervals ...rewind and repeat) and then Coremax Premix (can't remember the name - I think Complete Core). Hopefully, I'll get better over the weekend.

Sabrina - mmmmmmmmmm choc chip cookies are my favorite. I'd love one right about now!!
 
Good Morning Ladies! TGIF!!!!

I am so glad it's almost the weekend and my DS's party is really going to happen today! :)

Sabrina ~ I baked choc chip cookies yesterday too! 18 dozen!! We probably were baking at the same time. I made a huge mess in the kitchen. My mixer went a little crazy. ha ha. I think I might have burnt out the motor! :eek: I made them for my son's class today. Then I got going and made one batch after another. One batch makes 6 doz. I made some for the football guys, too. Last night was the official first football game. I am a diehard football widow! :-(

Lora ~ I am so sorry you are feeling so bad! Hope you get some rest this weekend. I can e-mail you that work out now that I have you e-mail address. I have it with my Word documents, so it's easier to just e-mail it right from there. Yes, Pinky's work out is just a one time thing. Do you know what rotation you're going to follow yet? I haven't decided yet.

Terri ~ I sent you an e-mail yesterday. My e-mail is acting weird again. Let me know if you didn't get it.

I'm going down now to do an Imax, not sure which one. I may do some quick add on too. I'll see how my time is going. I'll check back later if I can.

Hey Lora-We must have been starting check in at the same time so I am jumping over to this one. I cannot sleep! I woke at 3 a.m. and so here I am... I hope you feel better! Maybe you should make it a shirt work day today.

Dallas-Yes I got one of your e-mails and I sent you back some e-mails!
Sabrina and Dallas-Homemade cookies! I should be so lucky. I never bake since Ilive alone. So homemade sounds yummy!
I am doing a run today and push/pull. Probably throw in some ab work too.

Hi there, I'm back!

I did Imax 2 but advanced through the recoveries except for interval 8. Whew! That one always gets me. I didn't do the Imax 2 cool down and went right into Imax 3 intervals 1-5 no w/u, but I did do the cool down. For Imax 2 I used an 8" step, but then went to a 6" step for Imax 3. My legs were shaking on I3 interval 5 blast! Those bleeping plie squats! }( One of these days I'll be able to do that whole blast. Ewww, I noticed sweat on the mirror during the cool down!

My DS and I are going to have breakfast then I'm going to do a SM segment. My other son (b-day boy) went back to school today.

PS - I'm so worried about that hurricane Ophelia. My sister lives in Orlando. I don't think it's projected to go that way, but that could change. I'm praying it goes back out to the ocean.
 
WOW Dallas that was some workout!

Where is everyone today? I did fall back to sleep at 5 and woke at 7 so I am feeling better. I am going to do my run soon and then ifnish up payroll. I am so glad it is friday! Later i will do push/pull. Dallas let us know how you survive the party!

Those cookies Dallas and Sabrina made sound great! :9 I can't imagine having to make 18 dozen.

Dallas!! Wow! You're making up for some missed workouts a couple weeks ago aren't you? That was some w/o this morning.

Today I did Circuit Max. I love that one, but for some reason I never look forward to it. Cathe looks as cute as a button with her curly hair.

I met my sons Kindergarten teacher this morning and worked on the bus schedule. I'm now heading to the daycare and make sure he's all set there.

Around 2:30 I'm having a washer delivered. Ours broke last weekend.

I read Charlotte's (toastys) check in post early this morning. She said she's running 5 miles then doing LL later at night running another 5 miles. I think I'd die! Is that what you're doing Terri?

Thanks for the info. on the toe weights Diane Sue.

Good afternoon guys!

I didn't work today so I 'm a little late checking in today.

I started off with a 3-mile walk on my treadmill with the incline at 10%. Then I went and had some breakfast. After that, I did HC Extreme (workout #2) and then some bicep work. I think that will do it for me today.

Lora - Sorry you have been feeling so bad lately. Hope you get better for the weekend.

Dallas - You little cookie maker you!! Guess you were on a roll...You had a great workout today. I have yet to do a Blast only workout from any IMAX. I'm pretty sure I'll have the opportunity with my current rotation...maybe next week. I'll let you guys know how that goes. I can do interval 5 on IMAX 3, but that hasn't always been the case and trust me it's still hard.

Terri - Here I am!! How far did/are you running today. Do you like to run? What's your favorite activity?

Susan - I don't even have circuit max...don't know if I'll ever get that one or not. Charlotte (Toasty) is a mad woman!!! I've got nothing on her...

Hi Ladies,
I juust finished my run and it was slow starting but then the endorphins kicked in and all was good. Marietta, The display on my treadmill that tells me how far I run is broke so I have no idea. I go at a pretty good pace for an hour. I need to go to a gym one day and use there treadmill and see how far that is in an hour. I add intervals into my run usually as well. As for favorite activity that is hard to say. I have less boredom if I do step cardio but I feel that running keeps my weight where I want it better. not sure if that is true but I alternate between running one day and step the next.

Susan- No I am not doing what Charlotte is. She made me a different rotation that is more to my needs. Meaning I do weights and cardio daily. Tough rotation though!

Ok well I hope evryone is having a good day!

Hi Everyone,
It has been a busy morning here. I just got around to eating for the first time today and it is already after 2. Phone calls and business as well as picking up my granddaughter from kindergarten kept me busy. Anyway I did KPC stopping at the abs, Cardio Kicks power drills only, SH legs,Bowflex leg extensions and leg curls 3 sets each, Bowflex resisted crunches 100 reps, Core Max2,Pyramid abs & stretch. Tomorrow will be a total upper body workout since I already did legs twice and GS upper this week. Maybe next week I will shorten some of my cardio. I am finally getting my abs back. Always an indicator for me that I have been eating a lot of salt a junk food:) All of this talk about cookies reminds me I need to make some. I am keeping two of my grandchildren overnight.

Dallas, I am glad you get to still have your son's party and that he is back in school. I am definitely praying that we don't get another hurricane. We have had enough devastation. It looks like you had a good tough workout. I always use 8" for I Max2 but on I Max 3 I use 6 till interval 8 then raise he bench.

Susan I like Circuit Max too. I used it a couple of times while DH was here. I don't look forward to the w/u because of the room it takes. I usually will do the w/u & cardio of HSTA and then start into it.

Lora sorry you are sill sick. Hope you get better soon.
