Hardcore Rotation Checkin For Friday Sept 30

Morning Everyone -
This morning my rotation called for a 20 minute Power Walk, but since I can't go walking at 3:00 am, I did 20 minutes on the rebounder followed by Kickmax Blast Challenge and then the Leg Drills and Coremax 3.

I almost forgot to checkin this morning. I was reading the October rotation. I have to look at it at work later and see if I could fit in extra cardio. I also don't know if I want to stop working my legs so hard right now, as I'm still wanting to see some additional leg results.

Morning ladies!

I went for a walk/run last night. I did more walking than running though. When I made it back home my hands were freezing and so were my legs. I wore shorts and top plus a jacket. What do you ladies wear when it gets cooler out?

Lora-I am not a happy camper at all about the Jillian workouts. They company did not plan well at all! Keep me informed when you get one. I would love to hear about them. If I wasn't going to be gone all day tomorrow I would head to a big town and see if one of the stores had them in stock. Sunday I have the pleasure of grocery shopping. ;-)

Sabrina - Look at my post from yesterday. It explains when Amazon said each one would be available. I've got 2 on the way now and 2 will come at the end of Oct and 1 will come later. I had to order and select...ship when products become available and pay extra. I had to order them all separate and pay $20 more for them. My post yesterday explains it all.
 
Hi Ladies-Basically I am just praying tomorrow gets here and the infection and swelling is down and this tooth can come out. I am however scared of the procedure :)

Lora-I do not understand Amazon doing that. If the workouts came out on the 27th they should not take that long to ship.

Sabrina-If I felt better I would go check out a store for them as well.

Not sure how much working out I will get to do today. Maybe the uphill treadmill walk Mareitta suggested and I really want to do tris and bis. We will see.

Hi Everyone!

It's been so busy here. With all these nice days we haven't been inside much! This afternoon we're taking the kids to Great America. They close it down for the Chicago Options Exchange employees and families. It's so nice to wait in short lines. My kids are geared up for the roller coasters. Tomorrow we're taking them to see Disney on Ice. We always do these two things every year, but they just happen to fall on the same weekend!

I'm glad I got my work out in this morning I did Hardcore Extreme premix #2. I think it was called High/Low. It has the KM blast challenge in it. }( I then did L&G floorwork and stretch.

I'll probably be too tired tomorrow to work out. Who is going to follow the October rotation? I'd like to focus on lower body too, Lora. Let me know what you come up with. :)

Terri ~ Good luck tomorrow! I would stick with that uphill treadmill walk too. You can get a decent work out doing that. I did that a lot through my pregnancies. I would hold 2 lb dumbbells too. Be careful!

Sabrina ~ If you find a store that has the DVDs, let me know. I really want the kickbox one, but Lora said that wouldn't be available until November. I keep my eyes open too.

Nicole ~ too busy too organize, but I'm making mental notes. I just was turning off my kid's computer and the desk drawers were loaded with who knows what! Mostly my packrat dd's stuff! :-(

Marietta ~ I'm not following a rotation either, but I would like to for October. it was kind of nice to do some of the work outs I never seem to get to. I'd like to try some of Aquajock's mish moshes. Have you done any?

Susan ~ How are you feeling? No more contractions, I hope!

Diane Sue ~ When will they be done tearing up your yard. That would stink. Your poor landscaping! What great work out did you get done today?:)

Lora, I saw your thread about leaning out your lb. I don't know if you got any helpful advice, but maybe like Marietta said once your foot gets better then you'll be able to give it your all during cardio. I know because of this check in your consistent about your work outs. You eat clean, right? We all have our moments.;-) Do you work your legs more than twice a week? I know that really kicked it up a notch when I started doing that even before the Aug '05 rotation.

I'm not certified in training so I don't like to give advice like that, but thought I'd share what worked for me.

Re: Those darned DVDs...I don't think you'll be able to find any of them until the dates I mentioned above. Amazon states that's when the distributor is releasing them. I wish you could find them though.

As far as an October rotation....I'm debating. I just finished the butts & gutts and my legs could probably use a slight break for recovering and my upper body could afford to be "blissed out". I think I'm going to go for the October rotation, but I may only do 2-=3 weeks of it, as I now have the first 2 Jillian DVDs coming, as well as the first 2 Power 90 Masters series. I may do a 2 week rotation with those and I was thinking about throwing in some other stuff. I'm a Libra, so I'm very undecided at the moment.

As far as eating....I eat pretty clean. I only cheat with a very small amount of sugar daily (I'm addicted to caramel creams). Other than that, I eat really well. As I've said before, I get really hungry and I think I eat too often, but all of my meals are small or snacks. I eat a lot of fruit, LF yogurt & LF cheese. Lots of salads. My other downfall is that I starve before bed and need to eat an apple or small bowl of cereal so I can fall asleep.
 
Lora, Oh my we have the same diet! :D Do you get enough protein though? I have to make sure I get protein in at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I don't eat salad everyday, but if I do I'll add grilled chicken to it. I sometimes have a bowl of cereal before bed too. Otherwise I wake up in the middle of the night hungry.:-(

Good luck figuring out what works best for you!

Today I did 1st half of Imax 2. Last night I rode my bike for 28 min. Tonight I will aim for 30-40 min:7

Gosh you gals are good about your diets. I wish I could say the same:-( I am a junk food junkie:eek:

Dallas - the Dietician here said I get more than enought protein with the cheese, yogurt and cereal I eat. I eat cheese on my salads and cheese sandwiches. I need to staple my mouth shut and turn off PMS cravings. That might work, huh? LOL

So what's everyone doing for an October rotation?
 
Hi everyone
My grandchildren are hear for a sleep over so I will do a quick check in. Today was HSTA w/u & cardio, circuit Max no w/u, SS upper blast, SS abs and Step Heat abs Also on SS upper I did close grip bench presses instead of the see saw triceps on the ball.

Terri, I really like the lower body floor work segments done with weights, the one lunge squat off of a bench, Tall step leg presses, as some good effective lower moves. I feel your pain with the teeth

Dallas they came and filled up all of the trenches they dug. My son had to straighten a sprinkler head they buried and had sideways. Now our phone is not working so I guess they messed something up. I have a backhoe and old sewer line laying in my yard. Yew!!
