Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Finally Friday Sept 16

Morning Ladies -

This morning was MuscleMax follwed by 20 minutes of cardio (Imax3 Blast premix). I ran out of energy and had to quit a bit prematurely. I was starving...so I ate a small yogurt with some almonds as soon as I finished. I really have to quit that, as I've been gaining a few from being so hungry.

I saw the announcement and I'm so excited! I don't think I have enough money saved. I'll have to review my finances later. I will definitely be preordering (all of 'em...you know me!). Goodness and to think TLP is filming also and we also have new Power 90 ones coming!

I must admit that I'm feeling a bit down lately even with the good Cathe news. I don't think I'll ever be as muscular as I want to be due to my neck injury and having to be careful with so much heavy weight and having to modify so much. I know health is the main reason we work out, but I work hard and I want to look good too!

Susan - Good luck with your appointments. Let us know how you do.

Sabrina - welcome back. I'm doing the Sept. "Butts and Gutts" Rotation, but I've added an extra upper body workout per week.

Marietta - Is it really important to take a rest day each week, or can I just keep working out until I feel I need one? I won't be defeating my purpose of trying to lose weight, etc, as long as I feel okay? will I?

I got up early. I don't know why because I went out with the girls last night. It was fun! I still have to do my work out. Not sure what yet, but I'll check back later.

Lora ~ How do you like the September rotation? I'm liking doing my own thing right now.

Susan ~ Good luck today. Keep us posted! I got your e-mail too. Thanks. I don't think I'll be ordering that series (P90X).

Marietta ~ Where are you?!

Diane Sue ~ I don't know if you saw my post, but how long do you work out each day? I've been trying to split it up weights in the AM and then cardio in the PM, but it doesn't always work. Since school has started and the bus comes so early I don't get my full work out in the AM anymore.:-( I guess I could start getting up at 4A like dh. Nah! ;-) 5A is good enough!

Nicole ~ Which rotation are you going to start?

Hello Everyone,
Today I am going to do some kind of strength dvd, and maybe a short cardio?? Not sure which????? I need to look at some rotations. Last night I ended up doing the lower body cardio and the first stretch from Cathe's new dvds. It was a GOOD workout!!

Lora I did the first stretch last night, but I can't wait to do the ball ones. I think I am really going to like these. I always blow off stretching, but hey I can do anything for 13 min.

Dallas I am still shopping around for a rotation. Any hot tips!!

Sabrina thanks for the hot tip on Cathes pre-order I am going to order for SURE!!

Diane Sue thank you for your kind words!! Having a close family really is GREAT!!

Hi Ladies and Happy Frida

Today is HSTA and a run on the rotation. My abs aren't as sore as the last time I did all 3 coremax's. Which is what I did yesterdy and I also added some upper body tris, and shoulders in too. That was after PLB and my run.

I wound up going out last night as well with a couple friends. We just went to a local place and hung out chatted laughed and had fun.

Lora-I saw an interesting thread on overtraing with a link to a great bit of information. I would like Marietta's opinion on this but I do believe I am overtraing. If you asked me this a month ago I would have said NO WAY! I think that when my every thought is about working out and I think the more I can do the better at some point and level that too much is too much. The thread is on open discussion so if you have time read it. It was on the first page.

Dallas-I too like to break up my cardio from my weight training. I don't have a child at home so I have that kind of time.

Ok Off to do payroll:(

My boss is here today...so I can't place my ORDER!! Ugh!! She just went to a meeting though, so I'm sneaking.

Terri, I'll be interested to hear Marietta's opininon also.

I have a question for everyone. How long was it when everyone preordered the Hardcore Series until you rec'd your DVDs. I'm trying to get a general idea and I wasn't around for the last preorder.
 
I posted my workout for today wrong! Good thing I checked before I worked out. This is what I am doing. Friday: HSC and SS I have finished HSC and will do ss later.

Lora-Did you get to order? I have no idea how long it takes as I have never pre-ordered.

Hi Girls!

I ordered and worked out! So much accomplished! LOL! I also ordered the Terminator, but now wish I would have ordered SS/PP. Someone brought a good point on Nancy's thread that the new DVDs are all about cardio. I don't mind that one bit, but Terminator is more cardio, correct?

Today I did SB and S&H shoulders. I wanted to throw some abs in, but had to stop several times during my work out. The phone & my DS (2-1/2) is potting training. Need I say more! LOL! He comes into the work out room buck naked! I told him he doesn't have to take everything off to go potty! LOL! Like George Costanza, remember that Seinfield episode?! I usually don't answer the phone, but my SIL's father has been diagnosed with cancer. I told her to call anytime to bring her boys over so she can be with her dad.

Nicole ~ I haven't picked a rotation. Right now I'm focusing on S&H. Next week, I'm going to break up each body part, so I can get more cardio in too. I love those work outs!:)

Lora ~ Did you order?

Terri ~ Why do you feel like you're overtraining? Are you fatigued? Hope you'll get some rest over the weekend.

Did you see the thread asking about the results of the August/Bootcamp rotation? What results did you girls see? I didn't lose weight, but my clothes especially the pants/bottoms are much looser!!:7 The girls last night were commenting on my arms. I felt so self-conscious, but also happy at the same time.

Good afternoon
It is going to be a busy day today. I got a call from my daughter needing me to pick up the children from school again today. Normally I do this on Tues and Thurs. two schools and everyday for half day kindergarten. Everyone is coming over for games and dinner. I am making swedish meatballs and noodles. I wont eat the noodles myself though. I just finished making a bunch of chocolate biscotti. And I have a veggie tray to cut up.
Any way today I started with w/u and cardio HSTA, then I MAx 1 intervals 5-10, then I Max three blasts only, then I did SS upperbody blast& st. I subbed in Close grip bench presses for the ball see saw presses. I would like to have done abs too but needed to leave so will do them tomorrow.

Dallas, I am sorry I guess I did not see your post. I usually work out around 2 hrs a day sometimes longer and sometimes a little less. Today I was right at 2 hrs. Sometimes I will come back from picking up from kindergarten and do abs or a body part. I like to get the cardio over first myself. I try for one day a week off most of the time. So sometimes 2 if I have a lot to do.
