Hardcore Rotation Checkin 3/7/05

Morning everyone!

Imax3 at 5:30am for me (FLR). This was the first time I'd done the workout and ended up modifying a lot of the blasts. Good workout though.

Eats today:
porridge w/ usual seeds etc
ryvita & hoummous
salad, polenta & prawns
nuts and apple
salmon steak & veggies

Hi ladies -
Imax 3 for me as well today. I modified some of the higher impact blasts on my urban rebounder. I'm newer to Cathe, so I got a little tripped up with some of the stepping (never end up on the correct foot). Skipped the Core Segment, as I did it yesterday and I have to be at work an hour early today. Tomorrow is MuscleMax. I'm doing the fatloss rotation.

I had oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast and I'll have salad for lunch with fruit and granola bar as snacks.

Hello everyone. This fat loss rotation is going well. Today begins week 2. Yesterday's rest day was well needed. However I didn't get the stretch in.

I am trying to add in an extra leg conditionig drill segment each week to really improve my kicks and form. I did so on the running day (Friday)last week. I will try again this week.

What are your opinions on the HC rotations so far?

I'm doing cathe's fatloss rotation as well. Judy, you asked about opinions on the HC rotation thus far. Well, I LOVE cathe so anything she does is ok w/ me. It's too early to tell about results...I'm hoping to see some by Easter!

I started the rotation a day early last week, so I'm kinda ahead of everyone. I did IMAX3 on saturday and rested yesterday. So, today, I did the firm's express cardio and ran 2miles. Tomorrow will be Muscle Max.

Happy Monday morning!

Today will be IMAX 3, Core Max 1 and 2, and all 3 Stretch Max segments.

I had weighed in last Monday at 127. Today I am 124 but I don't think that could really be fat loss. I'm shooting for about a 1/2 pound loss every week. Maybe when I weighed in last week I was retaining water?....Who knows! :)

Breakfast will be veggie sausage, eggs whites and salsa in a super high fiber (14 g.) whole wheat tortilla.

Good morning all,

Today was MuscleMax, I really like this one. I think I am going on to week 3 of this rotation, then going back to 2 and then 4, just to keep the repetition down to a minimum.
Saturday was Timesaver BSB and Timesaver Legs, Segment 3 of coremax.
Sunday was Seasun's TNS.
Ended up at the ER yesterday with my DH ( He has MS ) and I am really surprised I had the energy to do MM today, but Cathe truly inspires me to keep plugging along!

Hi Everyone,

ARGGG!! Water in my basement, inches from my workout area!!!
Our furnace has a cracked valve and leaked water out all night long.
After cleaning and inspecting any damage. I actually got to workout.

Week two of Strength rotation. I only had time for the Timesaver Chest/Tricep and section 1 of coremax. I am going to try and fit in a short cardio before my husband gets home to fix the furnace.

I love the hardcore rotation so far. I just wish it didn't make me
so hungry:eek:

Good morning , This Am I did Imax 3 .And in the Pm Either Tae Bo or Gliding and Core max ... Ate a piece of cake last night , only a little piece though :) :) . feeling like its helping but wont weigh myself til Friday !!! Have great days everyone

I did Imax 3 and abs this morning.
I rested Sat. Yesterday I did HCE hi/lo to burn the b-day and wine I had on Sat night.

Back on tract, starting with clean eating again.

Hi Ladies,

I did IMAX 3 and GS BSB yesterday and today I plan on doing a run and GS Chest and Tris or a segment of Core Max. It depends on how I feel.

I started week 2 of the Strength yesterday. I have the GS BSB and GS C&T on different days than Cathe has on the schedule but getting everything in.

Hi everyone!

Elaine, bummer about your furnace--I hate it when that stuff happens. I hope you get it fixed without too much cost or hassle.

My opinions on Hardcore? I am doing a strength rotation of my own based on the Hardcores, especially the Gymstyle workouts, interspersed with Hardcore cardios. My goal is muscle definition and fat loss and I am making progress in both areas, after a long plateau. I have lost 2 lbs in the last 2 1/2 weeks and have lost 2 inches also. I'm happy.

I have been more careful with my overall calorie intake, which has also contributed to moving toward my goals.

My body seems to respond better to strength rotations than to fat burning or endurance rotations. I wonder why.

Anyway for today--GS legs+LM blast only premix. I think this will be a killer for me. I'll let you all know.

I am changing my rotation days around a little. I did I max 3 today as planned, then GS legs, & tough core. This is my 4th week into my rotation using the Gym Styles. Week one I started with HSC. Now I am using MM as my second weight workout but split.

My first check-in (I actually posted to a different check-in thread then realized this is the one I wanted - oops :))

Just starting the fat loss rotation and did Kick Max for the 1st time. Loved it!

I did MM this evening, Imax3 this morning, and abs. I had the energy and the time. I love the HC series.

I will do KM tomorrow.
